We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Team Leader for our supported living service in Ipswich, Suffolk. Someone who will go above and beyond to make life amazing for our service users and our enthusiastic and professional support workers. Our Charity supports 13 adults with learning disabilities/autism to lead fulfilling and independent lives whilst being active members of the community.
As our Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and managing monthly rotas
- Supporting and supervising assistants
- Organising and leading weekly team meetings
- Inducting new starters into their role and completing competency observations
- Overseeing reporting such as medication records, health and safety, and quality assurance
- Leading on the planning and facilitating community events
- Working as part of the senior leadership team to maintain a high quality of care
About you:
- Well-organised, IT literate and adept at allocating and delegating work appropriately.
- Proven ability to guide, support and teach the essential skills of supporting people with learning disabilities/autism.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program is a twice-a-year intensive training program enabling cohorts of 8-16 exceptionally talented international entrepreneurs and nonprofit professionals to launch outstandingly cost-effective, evidence-based new nonprofits in the space of two months.
The program chiefly consists of a twice-annual sequence.

The Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program team chiefly consists of ~two FTE preparing and running the program and interacting regularly with the recruitment team (for finding and selecting the ideal program candidates), the research team (for selecting and adapting the ideal charity ideas for the program participants), and the operations team (for supporting the incubated projects immediately upon launch through the program). ABOUT YOU
The role is most suitable for a mid-level professional (3-5+ years of experience) with a background in running programs or nonprofit organisations. An ideal candidate may bring experience in launching and implementing new or early-stage programs or in conducting earlier stage intervention research or monitoring & evaluation work, particularly in LMIC contexts. APPLICATION PROCESS
Our application processes aim to be highly predictive, time-effective, and informative for you. Change Mental Health is a leading national mental health charity providing unique support to people with severe and enduring mental ill health. With over 50 years’ experience across Scotland, we believe people affected by poor mental health and illness deserve the highest quality of support in the community and that every person has the right to be valued and to share in the opportunities, challenges, and joys of everyday life.
The Community Link Worker service collaborates with selected GP surgeries, supporting adults over the age of 18 through social prescribing. Referrals are received from the GP to our Community Link Workers when there might be a concern caused by social factors, rather than a medical problem. The service focuses on improving health outcomes for people experiencing stressors in their lives due to social problems, which could lead to poor mental health.
As a Community Link Worker, you will work directly with people referred to the Community Link Worker Service from their GP Practice who require immediate or on-going emotional, practical or vocational support in order to deliver the best possible health outcomes.
This post works directly with people using the service to develop and review personal support plans. You will work closely with other members of the Community Link Worker team, colleagues in Primary Care and representatives of community-based groups and organisations, to achieve outcomes as defined by your line manager.
Within the Community Link Worker team there is a clear line management structure which supports and shapes the practice. The post will contribute to an environment where people can improve their health outcomes, establish improved connections in their communities, and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:

IVAR is looking for a Deputy Director of Research who will work together with the Director of Research to lead a cohesive research team to ensure our work has the greatest possible impact.
At the Institute for Voluntary Action Research (IVAR), we work with charities, foundations and public agencies to strengthen UK communities through action research. We champion the role and contribution of the voluntary sector. Through our research projects, we build an understanding of what it takes to deliver for communities and causes across the UK. We hear what helps voluntary organisations and what gets in their way. We then work with funders and public agencies to influence practice, build dialogue and put charity voice at the heart of change.
As Deputy Director of Research, you will be expected to work closely with the Director of Research to support quality assurance, the development of research practice, the maintenance of ethical standards, and the continuous improvement of writing and research communications. It is essential that you have experience of the voluntary sector and working with funders, and you will have a strong understanding and experience of qualitative research. You will have a proven track record in line management and be confident to lead a portfolio of varied projects. As a strong communicator you will be required to facilitate complex discussions and focus groups, build partnerships and have a track record of winning new work. You will also have excellent written skills with the ability of writing in an accessible and engaging manner for different audiences throughout all stages of the research process.

We’re seeking excellent Teaching Assistants who want to enjoy a completely different way of working!
Our Outreach Teaching Assistants and Teachers support students who aren’t currently able to attend school, for example because of mental or physical health needs or challenges in previous schools.
This is a mobile role which requires flexibility; you and a teacher will work from a designated space in the family home, or at a local library, and offer personalized education for each student. Our ideal candidate is inclusive and uses the child as the starting point to plan an engaging and suitable curriculum which helps each child to meet their EHCP outcomes and grow academically too.
We work hard to match the right student with the right teacher and Teaching Assistant; you may be an expert with students in a particular age group (our students range from 6 to 16), subject, or enjoy working with students who have particular needs such as SEMH, hearing impairments or Autism Spectrum Condition. Almost all of our students have EHCPs, though their needs are quite varied. Our students benefit from creative approaches to learning so you can have fun with how to you teach!
Because of their vulnerabilities and often disrupted learning experiences, our students need a caring approach and our work is underpinned by the principles of Attachment Theory. To flourish in this role you must care about children and believe that every child deserves the best opportunity to achieve their potential, whatever that looks like.
The ideal candidate will also be able to develop positive relationships with parents and carers. Experience working with students with SEND or in a Special School is advantageous but not essential. We’re also interested in hearing from applicants who have other experiences in the SEND arena for example, parents and carers of students with SEND often have a wealth of valuable knowledge and experience to offer.

Women and Girls Network (WGN) was established in 1987 and has spent over 30 years supporting women and girls across London affected by gendered violence. This includes childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, prostitution (including trafficking and sexual exploitation), female genital mutilation (FGM), and so-called ‘honour’ based crimes such as forced marriage.
Our goal is to promote, preserve, and restore the mental health and wellbeing of women and girls, to empower them to make a total and sustainable recovery from the experiences of violence. Main Tasks:

Overview of Role:
As Human Resources Advisor you will be joining a small, friendly and supportive HR team providing advice and support to managers and staff across the full range of employee life-cycle activities. This is a maternity cover post, so is offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months. As this is a short-term contract, we are looking for someone with HR experience at this level who can also embody our culture as a charity with a Christian ethos.
You will provide HR advice and support, to our Centres of Mission (CoM) (which are local projects run in partnership with Diocese to share the Good News of Jesus); our central services team in Sheffield known as Co.Lab; and our Sheffield based conference centre and accommodation.
The HR Advisor will play a key role in developing and strengthening the relationship between the staff, line managers and HR and ensure we deliver an effective HR service which is aligned with the service to the wider organisation.
