Overall purpose:
The main purpose of the Senior Partnerships Manager role is to lead on the delivery of first-class account management and development of corporate partnerships that maximise impact and income for Breaking Barriers. The role has line management responsibility to Partnership Managers who are responsible for the delivery of their portfolios and projects to drive the team’s strategy.
Working closely with the Director of Income & Engagement, Head of Corporate Partnerships, and other Senior Fundraisers, you will be responsible for launching and retaining partnerships, deepening relationships and identifying opportunities for growth. This will include the planning, testing and implementation of new corporate partnership ideas and initiatives to help Breaking Barriers in its mission.
The successful candidate will have experience managing and/or securing complex five and six figure partnerships and a proven record achieving significant account growth and retention targets. You will deploy your influencing skills and ability to build profitable relationships to great effect as you take a leading role identifying and nurturing future strategic partnerships. Ideally, the successful candidate will also have line management experience and the ability to develop talent within the team. An understanding of the HR & Talent Development and/or CSR spaces would be advantageous.
Role Summary:
- Work with the Head of Corporate Partnerships and other Senior Managers to ensure the successful delivery and continued growth of our corporate partnerships and business development strategies at Breaking Barriers
- Manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships, and support the wider Partnership Management team to deliver on their key partnerships and maximise value
- Drive growth at Breaking Barriers through identifying and developing opportunities for additional income from existing partners, and by proactively engaging new business prospects
- Provide leadership to line reports, encouraging their professional development and the growth of their partnerships
- Lead on developing and driving forward the Business Behind Refugees movement as a key business development and partnership development tool
- Represent the Corporate Partnerships team as a senior fundraiser, utilising expertise and relationship skills to advocate both internally and externally
- Ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting on corporate partnerships income
- Work with the Head of Corporate Partnerships to develop and implement effective policies and procedures for demonstrably successful corporate partnership account management

You should have:
- Demonstrable experience or knowledge about the humanitarian and/or climate sector.
- Experience and knowledge about relevant technical sectors like Food Security & Livelihoods, Nutrition, WASH, Protection, Health, Climate or Disaster Risk Reduction
- Demonstrable knowledge of humanitarian programming, sustainability, climate resilience, and monitoring and evaluation processes, including using excel to capture and analyse data.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work with overseas partners with varying levels of English.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to produce high quality written work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Demonstrable financial and numeracy skills.
- Ability and flexibility to travel overseas when required
- Working knowledge of another language would be an advantage, especially French or Spanish

About Woman’s Trust

About the role
This is a newly created position at Woman’s Trust, reflecting the critical need for impactful insights and evaluation of our services. The Data Insights Manager will lead, motivate, and develop an efficient and dynamic insights team and will strategically work with the Service Delivery team to turn the data collected by Woman’s Trust into actionable insights, so that we can better support the women accessing our services.
This role will be responsible for the smooth running and development of reporting and analysis tools across Woman’s Trust, so that staff can use our internal service data to inform their ongoing work and decision making.
To ensure that Woman’s Trust is feeding data learnings into our organisational development and service reviews, the Data Insight Manager will ensure the team are asking the right questions, pick out trends in the data with distinct themes, challenge our staff to collect and report accurate data and help to evolve our data practices. The Data Insight Manager will create ways in which Woman’s Trust can utilise its data to improve and expand our services as well as undertaking relevant ad hoc research projects, both internal and external, to ensure Woman’s Trust is seen as a leader in its field in producing sector relevant reports, presentations and papers.
The Data Insight Manager will take ownership of concisely communicating insights from our data and research to both internal and external stakeholders in innovative and engaging ways. The role will deliver on Woman’s Trust’s strategic priorities with regards to service contracts, data, monitoring and evaluation. You will not only mentor and develop capacity within your own team but act as a data advocate, enhancing the relationship between the front-line workers Woman’s Trust’s work and the staff managing the contractual obligations.
Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week (4 days).
Location: Based at Woman’s Trust’s office, Paddington, NW1/hybrid working.
