About this exciting opportunity
As a Women’s Wellbeing Coach, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users, who will be female adults aged 18 years and above on remand and unsentenced within Cambridgeshire. This role will involve completing trauma-informed assessments and developing, in collaboration with each service user, action plans which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.
We will also rely on you to create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users and to deliver a range of interventions which contribute towards achieving pre-determined targets. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with external agencies and working towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales are both essential aspects of the role, as is providing updates and reports, where required, using a range of formats.
What we are looking for
- Proven ability and experience as a caseworker delivering gender specific and trauma-responsive interventions that support resettlement and rehabilitation of female adults in the criminal justice system, whether in the community or in prisons.
- Experience of working with young adults and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes.
- Experience of engaging successfully with challenging people, for example, people who have complex needs, people who are reluctant to discuss their needs, and people who are angry and confused. Experience in delivery of 1:1 and group coaching solutions, including preparation and delivery of skills and learning.
- Experience in working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project.

Our partner is seeking an Interim Director of Finance to offer a 12 month maternity cover. Your appointment will come at an interesting time, and your leadership will support their expansion plans and new projects, whilst leading on business as usual activities.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the organisation’s scale and income-generation strategy. This includes developing flexible cost models, developing budgets for pilot projects and new projects, and identifying alternate funding opportunities.
- Lead in the development of the organisational wide budget, and budgets for donor/funder proposals.
- Provide oversight on the organisation’s systems, controls, procedures and policies; ensuring these are robust and strengthening them as required.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance function, and the production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the management team, donors and the board.
- Lead on full grants cycle management from developing budgets for proposals, grants management and compliance, and reporting. This also includes supporting country offices and implementing partners in strengthening their processes and controls, and grants requirements.
- Lead in the preparation of statutory accounts for the UK and overseas entities; and lead in the organisational and project audits.
- Ensure that the UK and overseas offices remain compliant with tax, legal and regulatory compliance.
- Attend trustee and board meetings .
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience. Finance leader, with a strong all-round technical background in developing and strengthening controls, financial accounting, management accounting & reporting, forecasting/modelling and offering financial advisory support to the senior leadership team and board of trustees.
- Experience in managing a complex multi-currency, muti-year, multi-country grants portfolio and in fund accounting for charities.
- Experience of leading the finance function of a charity working internationally.
- Advanced MSExcel skills, including a high proficiency in financial modelling.
- Wiling to be hands on, working effectively with staff based in overseas and offering guidance and mentoring as required.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) catering to a range of finance and non-finance audiences.
- Willing to travel to the overseas offices; there will be at least 2 trips a year.

This post is offered as fixed term contract for 12 months, or secondment for internal colleagues.
We are looking for an Outreach Worker to join the St Mungo’s Street Outreach service in Bristol. You will be joining the new Target Priority Group (TPG) who support a cohort of clients with the most long-term and repeat periods of rough sleeping in Bristol, who may have multiple support needs including substance misuse, physical and mental health needs.
Our belief is that rough sleeping is an intrinsically harmful and dangerous activity both for the individual and for the wider community. Therefore, we take a proactive and assertive approach to supporting people away from this activity. Our aim is to support people to recover from the effects of rough sleeping and move away from a street lifestyle permanently.
Working as an Outreach Worker you will:
- Work with people to assess their needs and deliver a person centred support that meet peoples individual needs.
- Support clients to access suitable accommodation either within the pathways or through private rented accommodation.
- Work in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams and agencies across the city to meet client’s individual needs.
- It’s not always an easy job, but the opportunity to work with different people every day, helping individuals experiencing homelessness and the local community end the harms of rough sleeping can be highly rewarding.
You will work on a weekly shift rota including mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. This helps us to ensure we are available to support people experiencing homelessness when they need us the most.

Evolve is a leading homelessness charity in London, providing housing and support to over 1,300 people each year.
Our aim is to help children, young people and adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to become independent and resilient. We believe in building on people’s strengths, aspirations and goals to help them break the cycle of homelessness.

Our Communications Manager is taking maternity leave from mid-June and we are looking for someone to cover the role for approx 9 months. We are a small team and this is the only communications role, therefore the Communications Manager has a lot to do, including:
- Running our whole comms operation – social media, website, event marketing, PR.
- Developing and delivering our communications strategy
- Creating stories and content for different channels

We need you to bring the ‘must have’ qualities listed above, but do not require a conventional professional CV full of paid communications and marketing roles. What we do need is someone who can help us deliver. That means understanding the people we work with, and knowing how to deliver organisational communications that meet their needs.

Battersea is undergoing a significant transformation programme (known as Launchpad) to deliver real change in the way we work with, utilise, and learn from data. About the role
Solent Mind delivers Wellbeing services across Hampshire, including Eastleigh, Winchester, Fareham and Gosport and the New Forest. This post is based in the New Forest locality. The Wellbeing services provide a range of support, including 1-1s, courses and workshops delivered both within the centres and via digital platforms.
The Young Persons Senior Wellbeing Advisor will support clients 18 to 25 years old through 1-1 assessments, facilitating educational courses and social/activity groups, with the aim of enabling people to achieve their goals in a person-centred and inclusive approach. Our Young Persons groups run every week between 6 – 8pm at our New Forest Wellbeing Centres.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 1.00pm to 8.00pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9.30am to 3.30pm (remaining hours are flexible).

About you
The Senior Wellbeing Advisor will undertake assessments and reviews with young people to enable them to better manage their mental health and wellbeing and to support their recovery.
The Senior Wellbeing Advisor will facilitate structured workshops and courses alongside other members of staff/volunteers, including those from other wellbeing services and partner organisations, either face-to face or on digital platforms.

The overall purpose of this role is to lead the development and delivery of CSE’s Future Generations programme. This work programme focuses on ensuring that all young people feel inspired and able to play a meaningful role in catalysing and delivering the transition to a more sustainable and fairer energy system.
Pay and conditions
- The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week).
- The salary for the role will be £41,802 - £53,956 (starting salary will depend on skills and experience).
- You will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Programme leadership - To lead the continued strategic development and coordination of the Future Generations Work Programme across CSE; to ensure that all staff are able and encouraged to engage young people in their work; to maintain a portfolio of youth focused projects which provide opportunities for young people to develop capabilities for effectively participating in the energy system transition.
- Development – To pro-actively lead the development of innovative and impactful project ideas and funding proposals for the Future Generations programme, and work with the Development and Communications teams to build and manage the relationships, evidence, and plans necessary to secure investment.
- Representation – To provide inspiration and practical guidance both internally and externally (through targeted public speaking, network-building and online media) for the better inclusion of future generations in sustainability and resilience planning; aligning the Future Generation’s programme with CSE’s strategic objectives and fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and excellence.
- Team and project management – To take responsibility for the planning and overall delivery of Future Generations projects: ensuring that the Future Generations team is well-resourced, highly motivated, and continuously developing their skills, and that project teams are well-led, efficiently coordinated, effectively using CSE systems and processes, and able to deliver work on time, to budget and to client/donor expectations. Provide mentoring to junior members of the LACE team and provide effective and timely senior management support to contribute to overall team wellbeing and cohesion.
- Safeguarding – to act as a safeguarding lead for our work with children and young people. This includes supporting the handling of any handling of reports or concerns (in conjunction with CSE’s dedicated safe guarding officer); pro-actively working to ensure that risks are well understood and managed; keeping policies and procedures up to date; ensuring that safeguarding is prioritized and that expectations of staff, volunteers, trustees, student placements, agency workers and sub-contractors are clear and adhered to.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
This new role will play a key part in ensuring strong financial management of the organisation’s financial resources. This position is key for both Helen Bamber Foundation and Asylum Aid and the postholder will work closely with all members of the finance team in delivering both the organisational and financial strategies.
The candidate will have confidence and experience in producing high quality and accurate management accounts and variance analysis, as well as proven FP&A experience in supporting a charity’s annual financial planning cycle. As the organisation moves into a new strategic cycle, the post holder will play a key role in supporting the development of financial systems and processes ensuring that the finance department evolves as required.
As Senior Finance Manager, you will be reporting to the Director of Finance and Governance and will be directly line managing the Finance Manager. Supporting their development as they progress with their accounting qualifications will be a key requirement in this role, and you will have the opportunity to work with and mentor them through this.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead on the production of monthly management accounts for both entities (Helen Bamber Foundation & Asylum Aid) including variance analysis.
· Oversight of month end close process carried out by the Finance Manager ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Supporting the annual planning cycle including regular re-forecasts as well as the annual budget planning process.
· Provide reports and accurate project accounting for joint partnerships with other organisations.
· Support the development of devolved budgets and budget holder responsibilities across the organisation. Provide business partnering to future budget holders across the organisation.
· Lead on production of the annual financial statements in adherence with FRS102 and charity SORP. This includes review of the year-end adjustments and liaising with the communications team on production of the annual report.
· Play a leading role in the annual audit process, dealing with our external auditors and ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
· Support cash flow forecasting ensuring that latest risks and opportunities are considered.
· Support the fundraising team with bid applications ensuring that budgets are accurate and aligned to strategy.
· Responsibility for the updating and implementation of key financial control procedures and policies across the organisation.
· Continually look to improve financial processes both within the finance team and across the organisation. This role will play a key role in delivering the financial strategy including systems development.
· Provide payroll cover as required – payroll is outsourced to an external payroll bureau.
· Provide good quality line management to the Finance Manager as well as indirectly to 2 part time Finance Assistants. Be seen as a leader within the organisation.
· Provide development opportunities for the finance team and in particular, to the Finance Manager who is undertaking their accounting qualifications.
· Adherence to key financial deadlines throughout the financial year (VAT returns, month end, financial year-end etc).

The Minerva London service provides holistic, trauma-informed support for women in touch with the Criminal Justice System, through dedicated one to one support, safer women’s centre spaces and specialist interventions and partnerships.
As the Minerva Activities Coordinator you will be responsible for enhancing the offer to women referred into the Minerva service by supporting them to engage with their local women’s centre provision. You will be based at your regional women’s centre five days a week, as the first point of contact for women entering the centre space or contacting the service via the centre helpline. As Activities Coordinator you will create and deliver a relevant and lively activities programme for women to attend, in partnership with Minerva’s specialist delivery partners.
