Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services (CDARS) is a charity organisation that provides psychological and social support to drug users and their family members.
As part of this work, it has built a track record of working with service user representatives, service user Councils and networks and service user involvement teams. This includes creating a strong Volunteer, Peer Mentor and Recovery Champion network and supporting them through training, supervision and access to additional personal and professional development areas.
The WCDAS and RCDAS Treatment services, led by South London and Maudsley (SLAM), are a community substance misuse ‘partnership’ service that offers a broad and inclusive range of support and treatment options for those seeking recovery from Substance use. This includes access to medical, psychological, and sustained recovery sessions within the Boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond.
The Community Involvement Co-Ordinator (CIC) will deliver positive and improved outcomes for service users across both Boroughs. This will include creating solid relationships with other partners within the voluntary and community sector (VSC), including Job Centres, Work programmes, local businesses, and employers, to improve outcomes for service users through enhanced re-integration opportunities within the local Community. Another focus of the post will be to manage the Community Involvement Worker (CIW) , who will work closely with the Manager to recruit, train and nurture peer mentors and service user representatives. This support will aim to build capacity and visible recovery across the boroughs. Both post-holders will help develop, train and nurture meaningful service user involvement through the Service User Council network and its representatives throughout the treatment system.
The post holder will need to work under the directives of the CDARS Wandsworth Management Team, with the objective of facilitating engagement in all aspects of service user involvement. The post holder will be expected to foster and develop good working relationships with staff at all levels within the partnership and establish good working relationships with other agencies, both voluntary and state, within the two Boroughs.

In partnership with the individual, you will co-produce bespoke wellbeing plans that focus on mental health outcomes and health and wellbeing. A skilled communicator and advocate for the service, you will promote WellFamily Plus across the locality by collaborating with stakeholders and local agencies to strengthen community resilience and capacity. You will raise awareness of the service and positively promote co-production. You will reduce pressure on statutory services, improve health outcomes and enable a holistic and personalised approach to care, improving health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals, children, young people, and families.

About the Accelerating Reform Fund
The Accelerating Reform Fund is a new initiative which aims to transform social care services, making them more responsive to the needs of the community. It is a national programme, with 42 regions allocated to have their own projects. Greater Manchester is one of the ARF regions. The Domestic Abuse Marginalised Communities Worker will provide support and interventions to those affected by domestic abuse to empower and support and break the cycle of domestic abuse throughout their journey with Stop Domestic Abuse, regardless of risk. The Navigator will be committed to family work and proactively work to recognise and implement solution focused actions to ensure eradicate domestic abuse from families lives.
The Domestic Abuse Marginalised Communities Worker will provide additional expertise to the wider team and enrich the service with specialist knowledge and guidance relating to victims who may experience additional barriers to accessing support from our service due to their ethnicity. The Lead Navigator will develop initiatives, workshops and training packages for both internal and external professionals. The role will encompass peer to peer support, direct one-to-one support to victims who may be at medium or high risk of harm, whilst also engaging with communities and local organisations in the local area to improve our response to domestic abuse. This role does not involve the line management of staff.
The Portsmouth Service operates as one team, and all staff are responsible for taking referrals for all aspects of the service, offering immediate support, advice and assessments to clients or people contacting the service, welcoming families into refuge and completing relevant paperwork, and ensuring the smooth running of the service. This will include providing cover when required for absent colleagues to ensure that the core functions of the service are delivered and responding to changing demand in service provision. The Portsmouth Service is a team committed to whole family work, when safe to do safe, creating a family journey through the service.
The Portsmouth Service is staffed 9am-9pm Monday to Friday and 10am-6pm Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. This role’s working pattern will fall within the hours of 9am-5pm Monday- Friday.
It is essential that the postholder has a driving licence and access to a car for work purposes as this role covers multiple sites in Portsmouth.

Lincolnshire Crisis Service have two houses in the county, one in Boston and another in Lincoln, we provide a range of support for people with mental ill health and both work to a recovery model. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards. This role does require you to work varied hours as the service is 24/7 and may include some sleep in shifts, these are paid in addition.
We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone. That’s where you come in.
Responsible for helping and inspiring the people who use our services, we’ll rely on you to work with them to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations. We are looking for someone t to join the Bristol Women’s Pathway (*women only) as a Project Worker. The service provide specialist safe spaces from abuse, exploitation or Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
In this role you will work across the Women’s Pathway in 3 semi-independent projects. Working as part of a dedicated team to provide a safe, high quality, positive and inclusive service to clients; by working with people to identify their personal aims and ambitions and providing practical and personal support in an approachable, caring, and person-centred way. You will work independently at times and be comfortable as a lone worker.
You will work on a weekly shift rota including early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays. In some of these roles condensed hours can be offered and staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

About you
We are looking for enthusiastic people with experience of dealing with complex and difficult situations in relation to people and helping people throughout difficult periods and a process of change. If you have good interpersonal and skills, patience and resilience we will provide you with the knowledge and training you need to work with clients in a holistic and person-centred way. You should also demonstrate:
- A sound understanding of the issues faced by people experiencing homelessness, and the difficulties they can experience in accessing services.
- Some experience of liaising with a number of individuals or agencies to achieve effective outcomes for others.
- Good communication and listening skills and the ability to work with a variety of different people.
- The ability to work in a role that supports vulnerable people and maintain high level of contact with clients on a day to day basis.
- Above all, you should have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives with a non-judgemental approach to working with people with complex needs.

You will be managing our Autism Outreach Service that provides support to people in seven London Boroughs, and who live at home with family or in supported living services. Therefore, the ability to promote positive working relationships with family and stakeholders is essential to this role. You will be responsible for managing and motivating your staff team to provide creative and flexible services that makes a positive difference to the lives of those we support, and enables them to thrive and enjoy a good quality of life as active and valued members of their community.

You will be supported by two deputy managers to lead a large team of community outreach support workers, to ensure a high standard of quality support to the people we support.
About the role
- You will assess new referrals, develop, and manage comprehensive support & risk management plans.
- You will be required to build and maintain strong relationships and partnership approach with families and professionals/stakeholders.
- You will develop, coach and mentor a positive and resilient team of support workers and deputies to deliver high quality and personalised support and embed a culture of positive behaviour support.
- You will be responsible for ensuring support is delivered innovatively, flexibly and on a person - centred basis to meet the needs and outcomes of the people supported.

- You will be responsible for ensuring the service is safe, effective, caring, well led, responsive and managed to meet CQC essential standards to a minimum of good service and with aim of achievement of outstanding.

About You
- You will have significant management experience of working in a similar setting.
Ideally you will have as a minimum:
o 3 years’ experience of delivering person centred support to people with a learning disability/autism and complex needs including behaviours of concern. (E)

- You will hold a qualification in Positive Behaviour Support Coaching (BILD accredited), NAPPI level 2 (or equivalent) or a willingness to gain the qualifications within the first 3 months of employment. (E)

Purpose of the post:
We are looking for a Community Development Worker with experience supporting with people with their mental health, with significant experience in statutory and/or voluntary sector services, knowledge of the City of London, Hackney and Waltham Forest (or a specific local area or demographic), and strong interpersonal skills.
You will work closely with individuals from Black, African and Caribbean Communities, with serious mental illness (SMI) developing an understanding of complexity in order to provide the most appropriate support.
Working alongside the Director and Clinical Operations Manager you will, be responsible for linking in with Secondary Services in organising and delivering tasks which facilitate an informed and safer hospital discharge and smooth transition into the Community to avoid re-admission.
As a Community Development Worker, you will become a local expert, gathering and sharing information about local opportunities, activities, and support, bringing people together and supporting them to remain confident and independent in their everyday lives.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. You will be responsible for linking with Groups and Services to understand the mental health needs across the Community.
2. To work closely with the Hospital Discharge Teams as part of the Discharge process
3. Collectively develop a robust Hospital Discharge plan that will help embed the Clients into the Community.
4. Explore with Secondary Services and other relevant agencies the current provision and identify the gaps and assist IRIE Mind and its partners to develop programmes to meet the identified need.
5. To raise awareness of the importance of talking about Mental health and seeking support early, especially in the Black, African and Caribbean Communities.
6. To provide information on where to go for additional support upon Discharge
7. Collaboratively develop material with colleagues to distribute to in patients and Clients, families and friends.

Melbourne View is a 24-hour supported living service with 12 self-contained flats. The service is for people ages 16 and over, people living in Cumbria and people with a primary diagnosis of mental health. The service is tailored to each person with the goal of supporting individuals to manage their accommodation and help them move back into independent living and the wider community. We support individuals to gain or regain skills and confidence to achieve greater independence. We can support to develop coping strategies to best manage mental health and to access community groups. Staff support all aspects of daily living skills and can help access training, volunteering, employment, or further education.
