Are you a skilled therapist looking to make a profound impact? We invite you to volunteer your time and expertise to support hospice patients as part of our Complementary Therapy team. Your contribution will bring immense comfort and care to those in their final stages of life.

Your Role

As a volunteer therapist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing holistic care to patients and their families.
  • Understanding patients' diagnoses and treatments to tailor therapies effectively.
  • Adapting therapies as needed to meet individual needs.
  • Adhering to ethical codes and our policies for complementary therapists.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development.
  • Attending relevant training sessions.

Complementary therapies offered in Marie Curie may include any/ or all of the following:

Acupuncture

Aromatherapy

Hypnotherapy

Massage (Holistic/Indian Head /Remedial)

Reflexology

Reiki

Yoga and Relaxation Techniques
