The British Psychotherapy Foundation (bpf) is looking for a Membership & Engagement Officer (to cover a period of maternity leave). The successful candidate will communicate directly with and engage bpf members, maintain accurate membership details in our CRM, complete general membership administrative tasks, update the members’ area of our website, manage the bpf members’ forum, support with member events, and work with the Director of Engagement, Marketing & Communications to develop the bpf’s overall membership offering/benefits.
The British Psychotherapy Foundation is in a period of considerable growth and we are looking for an experienced Membership and Engagement Officer to support and develop our membership service. This role will be well-suited to an ambitious self-starter, who has a desire not only to take ownership of our current membership activities but also to refine them. The right candidate will be adept at problem solving, highly organized, diligent (with a respect for confidentiality and GDPR guidelines) and will be committed to delivering excellent customer service to our members at all times. Previous experience working at a membership organisation is desirable.
The post-holder will play a pivotal role in keeping our members informed of the latest news and member benefits, promptly supporting members with queries, listening to member feedback, as well as maintaining accurate CRM records.

The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) have a fantastic opportunity for two Programme Managers to join our small new team focussed on green and sustainable chemistry. The positions are for a fixed-term period of three years.
You will be joining the RSC at an exciting time as we develop our next organisational strategy. You will help shape how we build on and connect across recent work in areas like Sustainable Labs, Digital Futures, Future Workforce & Educational Pathways, Chemicals Waste & Pollution and the 25th anniversary celebration of our journal Green Chemistry.
Reporting initially to our Head of Science & Sustainability Strategy Lead, your programmes will enable us to explore and prioritise opportunities to maximise our immediate and long-term impacts in everything from sustainability conferences and communities to tools, professional development and beyond.
In this role, you will:
• Scope and prioritise RSC Sustainable Chemistry programmes e.g. convening, conferencing, developing tools, resources, standards & metrics, training and professional development, new communities.
• Work in partnership with colleagues to identify, evaluate & prioritise opportunities and impacts e.g. collaborating with Publishing, Membership, Science & Communities, Professional Development, Communications, Marketing, Data Science & Insights, Product Management and Business Development.
• Build partnerships in the UK and internationally with organisations that share our commitment to driving and supporting sustainability in science e.g. research funders, sister societies, sustainability-focussed for- and not-for-profits, universities, chemistry-using businesses, and their suppliers.
• Develop effective relationships with our member and journal communities to align with their passion and expertise in achieving green & sustainable chemistry goals.
• Develop and deliver Sustainable Chemistry projects and programmes
• Track and report impacts, and contribute to a culture of continual improvement and innovation
At the RSC we embrace flexibility and offer hybrid working, which means our teams come together when they need to collaborate. Although this role is contractually based at our Cambridge office, you will be able to work from home within the UK, with the expectation that you will attend the office a minimum of average two days per week initially, with some travel for meetings and events. What we are looking for:
• PhD or equivalent in chemistry or a broadly related science and engineering area, or equivalent experience working in science labs or on science-related projects, publishing, funding or community engagement.
• Passion for science and for sustainability with some specific sustainability-related experience, ideally in a science R&D context.
• Ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to make informed product & programme decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Initiative to seek knowledge and input when that will deliver the best results.
• Can-do, flexible attitude with a focus on solutions and progress, including listening to others and taking the initiative in ambiguous and changing situations.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Open-ness to learning about technical areas of science and sustainability as well as about new approaches or fields from expert colleagues and collaborators.
• Experience working on and managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to balance and prioritise across multiple projects, tasks and deadlines.
• Experience of facilitation or organisation of networks, meetings and workshops.
• Experience writing reports, proposals or business documents.

James' Place is dedicated to preventing male suicide. Since 2018, they have opened centres in Liverpool, London, and Newcastle, supporting over 2,300 men and delivering over 7,500 life-saving intervention sessions. This is an exciting time to join as they are now expanding their model to reach more men in suicidal crisis and aim to have five centres open across England by 2026.
About the role
As the Philanthropy Lead, you will play a pivotal role in securing critical philanthropic income to support the expansion of the life-saving centres across the UK. Your work will directly contribute to saving the lives of men in suicidal crisis by building new centres and ensuring sustainability in the fundraising efforts for the long term.
You will manage a portfolio of supporters, appeal board members, and prospects to an exceptional standard, securing repeat support. You will be confident at building new relationships, generating and following leads from across the James' Place network to raise vital funds. You will embed new appeal board members and support the chair to develop the board to deliver the organisation's ambitions and income targets.
About you
You will have demonstrable experience of raising six- and seven-figure gifts from philanthropists, companies, and foundations. You will have significant experience of actively building new business pipelines to raise big gifts in a charity or higher education setting. You will be an effective team member and prioritize workload brilliantly. You will engage with James' Place values of focus, bravery, compassion, hope, respect, and professionalism.

The opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated candidate to join our Operations team, under our growing Finance team at Standing Together. If you are someone who shares our passion to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable groups then we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for a new Senior Finance Officer, who will support STADA’s Executive and Senior Leadership Teams, to bolster and develop our Finance function across the organisation; as the charity heads to meet the demands of its growth.
The Senior Finance Officer will work with the Head of Finance (and relevant internal and external stakeholders) to review existing systems, contracts and funding (income) arrangements; as well as explore and develop efficiency enhancing opportunities and contribute to building effective finance management processes and systems across STADA. They will support the delivery of several functions including: setting and monitoring of budgets, reporting of activity and funding across multiple funding streams, contribute to positive stakeholder engagement, oversee day to day financial activity and provide advice/guidance to inform development and delivery of our strategy and business plan.
There is potential for line management within this role as it evolves.
To fulfil this role, we are looking for someone who is passionate about ending domestic abuse. It is preferable if they have experience in providing line management support and supervision. They will have great organisational, analytical and adaptive communication skills. With a positive and inclusive style of working, they will be confident and able to work across a variety of teams (and other stakeholders) and be agile to work on and demonstrate a solution focussed approach.
