We're seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our TST Move-On team as a Move On Caseworker. In this role you will be supporting clients on the TST RSI programme who are ready to move on and live independently by assisting them to access the best properties for their needs, preparing them for move on and ensuring a smooth transition to the new home.

Every day will be different, drawing on your wide range of skills to empower clients with the tools they need to secure and sustain their move on property.

About the role:

As a Move-On Team Caseworker you will be responsible for helping the team in the development of new housing pathways for our clients, increasing the volume of properties being made available to our services clients, as well as sustaining and developing the relationships already in place with Housing Providers and landlords. You will work with clients to prepare them to access, secure and sustain their new home when they are ready to move on. This includes supporting clients with registrations, bidding, viewings, sign-ups and all aspects of their move.

In your role, you will undertake assessments to identify the readiness of our clients to access independent accommodation and to help them resettle into their new tenancies, which will include practical elements of independent living such as paying rent, setting up and managing utilities, liaising with landlords and other agencies. Additionally, you will support and advise TST colleagues on move-on options and in working with clients to be move-on ready.

About you:

• Can work effectively with people who have lived experience of homelessness, substance use and mental / physical health concerns.
• Able to undertake assessments and work with a person centred approach to empower clients and engage with them in achieving agreed goals.
• Able to work collaboratively and in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes for clients.
• Strong time management skills and ability to balance competing priorities to deliver effective and time bound support.
• Ability to support clients to move in and successfully resettle into their own accommodation, including support to maximise their income.
• Ability to measure clients’ progress in achieving their own goals and outcomes using support and safety planning tools.

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day-to-day management of our Young Peoples Ofsted registered service, including line managing the relevant front-line staff. The Role 

The Clubhouse Social Café Manager will lead on the implementation of the of café (Due to open in October 2024) and will manage the Food and Beverage Operations in line with food, and health and safety regulations. You will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility. 

You  will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the café, providing a diverse of community and health wellbeing projects in collaboration with Trust Senior Manager - Health and Wellbeing. They will also manage and mentor staff and trainees to deliver an effective and inclusive service to customers.

About You 

We are looking for a passionate, inspiring catering/hospitality specialist to lead on training, mentoring and the hospitality operation of our new Clubhouse Café at Gunnersbury Park. The café is part of the new Community Sports hub at the site and will also double as a social and community space linking into community projects for all ages. Projects will include mental and physical health with the space acting as a central meeting/training hub. In this capacity you will work closely with the Trust Senior Manager - Health and Wellbeing.

We are partnering with the homeless charity Change Please to create a west London training hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and training the café team. Our founder partners in the project are The University of West London (UWL) and the Premier League and Professional Footballers Association Fund. We are linking with the University to offer a range of immersive opportunities for their catering and business students and our Café Manager will link with them on a number of working projects.

As the Senior Policy Manager Equity & Equality, you will work closely with the Associate Director for Policy and Public Affairs England to set the strategic direction for the England PPA team, and to deliver its operational plan, as well as deputising for them when required.

You will be responsible for:

- Maintaining an expert overview of evidence and policy relating to equity and equality and end of life experience and leading the development of key related projects to ensure that issues of equity and equality as they relate to those affected by dying, death and bereavement are at the heart of contemporary policy debates.

- Analysing and responding to policy developments within UK Parliament, Government and other public bodies at both national and local level and assessing the impact on the equity and equality of people affected by dying, death and bereavement.

- Developing and maintaining a close relationship with the Marie Curie research team, and other researchers, and collaborating with them to develop the evidence base for key policy projects - including through commissioning new research as needed.

- As a Marie Curie spokesperson on policy and public affairs issues relating to equity and equality at the end of life, represent and convey its views through media interviews, speaking engagements, and through public affairs activities with senior policy decisionmakers at national and local level

CPAG is looking for a welfare rights expert to manage our Early Warning System.

With a new government in place this is a great time to join the Advice and Rights Team at CPAG as we look to influence policy makers and parliamentarians and support the advice sector in delivering a fair and comprehensive social security system in the UK.

The Early Warning System (EWS) collates evidence of long-term concerns and developing issues within the benefit system, from the advice sector and beyond. EWS evidence is used to develop and promotes improvements to the benefits system with our colleagues in the Policy Team, as part of our work to end child poverty.

The EWS officer will actively promote the EWS, encouraging contributions from advisers and claimants. The EWS officer will record and analyse case studies as well as the issues which arise on our advice services, to provide insight on the impact of changes to the benefits system and evidence for our campaigning and research work.

You will play a key role in responding to calls for evidence and consultations, and liaison with the DWP and other policy makers. You will work closely with the advice sector through publications, briefings and events such as seminars and conferences, to increase advisers’ awareness of the concerns highlighted by the EWS and to promote solutions to support claimants.

About the role

Alongside the Service Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service.
