The Services Division lead the delivery and growth of our services and strategic partnerships and alliances.  The division is comprised of our four regional teams (north, central, south west and south east) and a separate strategic partnerships and alliances team. The five teams are each led by an Associate Director.
Our regional teams are responsible for all services we deliver in a local area:

• Accommodation services (Including crisis houses, CQC regulated care services, supported housing).

Other service types may be added as growth and development takes place with the South-East Region:

Essential skills and experience:

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As the Practitioner Psychologist/Psychotherapist delivering the partnership with the British Red Cross you will be based in two BRC Refugee Support services in Leicester and Derby whilst remaining part of the Helen Bamber Foundation Team. You will be responsible, with support from the senior Helen Bamber Foundation clinical team, for delivering assessments of individuals referred by the BRC Senior Psychosocial Practitioner. You will support effective referrals into local mental health services, and, where treatment cannot be provided elsewhere and would have significant benefits, deliver a range of therapeutic interventions to a small number of BRC clients. You will provide and support outreach and training of local health care providers to increase their capacity to support trauma survivors.

This role will include delivery of highly specialised psychological assessments for both medico-legal and clinical purposes, provision of appropriate evidence-based therapies, delivery of training to local mental health providers as well as to staff from non-clinical backgrounds who have significant client contact, internal relationship and partnership building, monitoring of outcomes, and potentially the supervision of a trainee clinical psychologist on a final year specialist placement. The role will include input into partnership development, policy, research and fundraising.

We are looking for someone who is committed to working therapeutically with individuals who have experienced human rights abuses and who have developed trauma spectrum disorders as a result. In addition to proven experience in working therapeutically with this client group, the candidate will have a passion for human rights work beyond the individual client work, and a desire to contribute to effecting change at a policy level. This role requires the ability to react and respond creatively and appropriately to the needs of the service and the partnership. You will be required to travel to London occasionally to participate in meetings, professional development and other activities (this travel will be reimbursed).

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide specialist psychological assessments and deliver psychological therapies to clients of the BRC Refugee Support services in Leicester and Derby (and where approved other services in the East Midlands);

· Contribute to the monitoring of activity and outcomes from the partnership;

· Work closely with the BRC Senior Psychosocial Practitioner to develop training and outreach for the local mental health providers and where appropriate the BRC Refugee Support service teams;

· Train in the preparation of medico-legal reports and contribute to the preparation of these reports for clients of the East Midlands BRC Refugee Support services;

· Develop and carry out audits and research projects relevant to the Helen Bamber Foundation or the partnership (in collaboration with the BRC Senior Psychological Practitioner and the Director of Therapy and Executive Director of Clinical and Counter-Trafficking);

· Provide internal and external training in collaboration with the HBF clinical management team;

· Supervise junior staff; and

· Liaise with other non-statutory and statutory organisations on matters of clinical care and policy.

· Where applicable, contribute to policy and position statements with other members of the Helen Bamber Foundation and the British Red Cross and represent the partnership at conferences and other events.

Join Brook as a Women's Health Coordinator to lead the delivery and coordination of Brook Aspire's menopause support services for businesses and individuals. This role involves delivering organisational training and health and wellbeing outreach, particularly in workplace settings. Alongside this, you will oversee and develop Brook Aspire's services, ensure their growth and quality, while building strong and effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.

About the role

We have exciting opportunities for Advocates to join our team covering Essex. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as hospitals and care homes across the area to meet with clients and professionals and be home based for administration; therefore, a suitable home internet connection is essential.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community. 

When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs).  

VoiceAbility offers the usual regular manager one to ones, Staff forums and communities of practice depending on role. Team meetings with a mix of virtual and in person approach.

Come and make a difference by joining our team reaching people who find it most difficult to access advice.  Money Advice Plus work both locally in Sussex and nationwide. Our mission is to help people manage their money effectively, and our independent, confidential and flexible approach is tailored to individuals’ needs, allowing us to reach those who find it most difficult to access advice. You will be joining a large team of Money Advisers providing specialist level debt and benefit advice and casework. 

We have 2 posts available - 1 based in our Brighton and Hove office, and the second either based in our office, but fully remote working possible.  For both posts you will have lots of variety, providing telephone specialist debt and benefit advice and casework across a range of projects.  If you are based in our office you will also deliver face-to-face advice both in the office and other outreach locations including Foodbanks and with inpatients.

Ideally you will hold a qualification in Money Advice, obtained either through the Institute of Money Advisers or the Money and Pensions Service.  If you do not have a qualification, you must be prepared to work towards obtaining this, included some study in your own time. You will have excellent communication and digital skills, be comfortable delivering advice in person and by phone, and be able to plan and organise your work effectively.

About the role

This post will work as part of a community partnership programme, a small team providing accessible and bespoke perinatal care including, antenatal education, postnatal sessions, peer support, counselling and practical support to women from low-income migrant marginalised backgrounds. The role will provide non-judgmental, compassionate and trauma-informed care to women accessing the service and provide an initial assessment of needs and regular reviews. This role will coordinate inclusive and sensitive evaluation and data collection methods to evidence service impact and work collaboratively with stakeholders and researchers to enable women to participate in opportunities to share their maternity experience.

To be successful in this role you will have:

· Experience of supporting or working with marginalised or vulnerable groups and understanding the barriers they face to accessing support and an awareness of ways in overcoming them 

· Knowledge and experience working or volunteering with women and birthing people during pregnancy and early years 

· Experience working within a relevant sector e.g., maternity, children’s services, homelessness, women’s services, mental health, supporting asylum and refugee families 

· Strong commitment to improve equity and equality in maternity care

· Ability to handle challenging situations and behavior with a calm, flexible and confident approach to reach a positive resolution 

· Experience in evidencing impact, using inclusive approaches of evaluation and data collection

· Able to work reflectively, developing an awareness of your own and others’ relational styles and responses, and any judgements, biases or assumptions that may impact upon your work.

An opportunity has arisen for a lead Support worker to work within our Sanctuary crisis intervention and prevention service, based in Fore Street in Enfield. We act as a short-term A&E and Emergency services alternative, providing support to individuals in the Enfield Borough aged 18+. 

This role is to provide leadership and support to the Sanctuary team on shift. The role will:

• Lead shifts during the week, providing support to team members via case management support, escalation, Health and Safety guidance
• Support the Sanctuary Manager to embed processes within the service, and ensure that these are carried out
• Work alongside the Manager and team to ensure that the service is operating to high quality standard.
• Provide support in times of emotional distress for clients. The support worker will provide a calm, supportive presence.

 The role will support clients through co-producing support plans with practical and therapeutic support offerings, as well as contributing to the development of a warm welcoming environment and ‘safe space’ to be.

This position would suit someone with a minimum of 2 years experience of working with people with mild, moderate and severe mental health issues. Ideally experience of supporting people experiencing suicidal ideation. Should have previous experience of supervising or managing staff.
