Summary

This role sits within the Research and Operations Team in the Philanthropy and Partnerships Department. The post holder will work closely with frontline fundraisers to provide insight and guidance relating to the management and identification of new prospects as well as wider reporting and data management activities. By providing effective pipeline and data management, the post holder will support sustained income generation for the charity.

Main Responsibilities

This role forms an essential part of our high-value fundraising operation by working closely with fundraisers to identify and prioritise prospects through thorough desk-based research. The post holder will also be responsible for effective administration of the charity's partnership approvals process and will be instrumental to the effective rollout and adoption of the new CRM in the Philanthropy and Partnerships Department.

Key duties will include

• leading on the operationalization of the Economic Empowerment work as defined within our social inclusion strategy

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Extensive experience in a relevant field, e.g., international development, business administration, international public policy or economics.
• Significant experience in economic empowerment/ livelihoods in the government, non-governmental or private sector organisations

The opportunity

As the Project Officer, you will be supporting the smooth running and development of the Community Action Groups (CAG) network in Devon. The CAG Devon network empowers community groups to act towards a more sustainable future, focussing on the areas of waste reduction, composting, sharing, reuse and repair, community energy, biodiversity and wider sustainability. CAG Devon provides community groups with the tools and support they need to thrive such as support with insurance, guidance, and training, and opportunities for networking, collaboration and sharing skills with other groups. What you will be doing

Day to day project support

• Responding to enquiries from groups and other organisations.
• Co-ordinating the booking of training and events, using systems such as Ticket Tailor.
• Attending CAG events and planning meetings (including evenings and weekends where required).
• Assisting with group and event risk assessments, insurance documents and related administration.
• Creation and dissemination of guides and resources to support the projects.

Publicity and communications

• Supporting development of the CAG Devon website, ensuring it is well maintained and up to date.
• Keeping social media channels up to date, generating content and building online audiences.
• Assisting groups with effective publicity for their events, including 1-2-1 social media clinics.
• Producing a regular newsletter, encompassing news, events, funding, etc. for CAG Devon.

Administration

• Ensuring communications with CAG groups are logged within the project database.

• Liaising with groups and gathering documentation as part of the membership joining process.
• Supporting with quarterly and annual reporting.
• Gathering and reporting on regular website and social media analytics data.
• Assisting the project team with any other administrative tasks that they require.

The essentials

• Knowledge of the community/voluntary sector.
• Experience of maintaining and developing websites (WordPress) and social media.

Job Title: Head of Operations

Worldwide Veterinary Service is searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join the team, helping to grow our Young Vets Club membership programme, an animal welfare club aimed at children aged 6 - 12.

This exciting role will involve supporting the Young Vets Club Manager to expand the Young Vets Club programme, including creating content for members, supporting on promotional campaigns, dealing with member queries, attending events, and helping to inspire the next generation of animal lovers and veterinarians.

What you will do in the role:

• Work with the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to implement the Society’s Digital Marketing plans to achieve overall marketing objectives.

Key responsibilities and duties

This is an exciting and vital role to shape and deliver a multi-channel communications strategy for a leading mental health charity, focused on supporting the systems around children and young people including parents/carers, schools, colleges and universities. The main responsibilities will include creating and overseeing the activation of the marketing strategy and using data insights and analytics to grow and develop the Trust’s reach and support.
