As Digital Content Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting, enabling, and supporting the digital ambitions of Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK), bringing our brand and purpose to life for our online supporters and audiences. You will take charge of our web content, structure and user experience, working with and advising teams across the charity. You will also be required to work closely with our partner agencies, helping to deliver our ongoing strategic web projects.
The role reports to the Head of Digital, with direct line management responsibilities of a Website Development Officer. A Digital Analytics Officer also sits within this team.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, or on return of the substantive post holder, to cover a period of maternity leave.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
· Ongoing development and implementation of ARUK’s web content strategy, including microsites and apps, where appropriate.
· Working with teams across ARUK to ensure content is up to date and meets Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) / Accessibility standards.
· Play a leading role in the creation of campaign landing pages, working closely with the Digital Campaigns Manager to ensure that landing pages are effective, with clear calls to action.
· Review and develop user journeys on the website.
· Using data insights to inform website design and content.
· Identify and prioritise key web development activities for the Web Development Officer and Analytics Officer.
· Ongoing review and optimisation of pages on the website.
· Review and recommend changes to the website information architecture, through internal consultation, workshops, data analysis and user research.
· Ensure that digital content is visually appealing, on-brand and functional.
· Help to drive continuous improvement on digital platforms and keep the charity at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
· Help to edit and upload content to the website, as required.
· Team management and development, working alongside the Head of Digital and Director to inspire and motivate team members to fulfil their potential.
What we are looking for:
· Previous experience within a similar website management role.
· Demonstrable web development and digital content experience.
· A strong grasp of SEO principles.
· Experience using a website content management system.
· Strong Google Analytics and AdWords experience, with an appreciation for how those help to inform web content.
· Demonstrable project planning, management and delivery experience.
· Copy writing skills, with a flair for writing copy that is suitable for digital consumption.
· A confident communicator who is comfortable attending and leading meetings and workshops.
· Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, as well as the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

About the role
The Ambassador and Media Relations Manager is key to amplifying the work of Help Musicians and its sister charity, Music Minds Matter, through external communications.

We have a highly skilled team of 30 full-time employees in Malawi implementing this work, based out of two offices in the Northern Region. Our UK office in Bristol comprises a small fundraising and operations team of seven staff (two team members are full-time, all other team members are part-time), 3-5 regular volunteers and interns, and a wider family of volunteers and supporters.
Temwa UK has an experienced and high functioning board of Trustees who are very engaged. The board member who oversees the fundraising portfolio is very active, providing support to the Fundraising & Development Manager and the fundraising team as a whole.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Managing the fundraising strategy and donor relations with oversight of the fundraising office
- Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate the charity’s income generation strategy, ensuring targets are achieved.
- Align the fundraising strategy with the communications and marketing strategy.
- Act as the organizational expert on income generation, leading the team to expand all relevant fundraising streams.
- Maintain and enhance current income streams, including trust fundraising, corporate fundraising, high value donors, and individual giving.

About Victoria Hall Harrow
The Victoria Hall Harrow charity started in 1888, with the aim of building a high quality venue for the people of Harrow to come together and to build community. Since then our venue Victoria Hall has been rebuilt twice, most recently reopening to the public in Summer 2021. We also created a new charity some years back (a CIO), transferring the assets of the old charity over. For this reason our Charity Commission listing below is not representative of our current financial position and our assets.
For around 140 years Victoria Hall has provided space for rent to local residents and groups. It has been used for every possible purpose - parties, events, activities, conferences and much more.

Role Responsibilities:
Strategy, planning and growth
· Track progress against plans and budgets, and support shop teams to adapt, phase and prioritise work where appropriate.
· Ensure that broad and long-term thinking is brought to decision making and avoid reactionary behaviour, whilst capitalising on arising opportunities.
· Support the delivery of a five-year Retail Strategy (2024 – 2028), to include:
o The professionalisation of our systems and processes to capitalise on all income opportunities.

o Delivering income upwards of £2.5m per annum with year-on-year growth to £10.6m by 2028/29.
o Deliver Gift Aid targets across all shops.

About the role:
This role is 12 months fixed term, home based, working 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Travel within England and Wales may be required.
As the Client Account Manager, you'll be instrumental in building and nurturing relationships with organisations who we deliver training to. Your responsibilities will include understanding their needs, serving as their primary contact for inquiries, and researching new opportunities. A key focus of the role will be promoting training options to universities, the private sector and other organisations and services.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role, providing an excellent opportunity for the right person. Previous account management experience is not a prerequisite. Instead, we value transferrable skills such as marketing, sales, community development, community engagement or stakeholder management. Regardless of your background, if you believe you have what it takes, we're eager to hear how you can contribute to the success of this role.

- Enthusiasm and a flare for building rapport with a wide range of people
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking to professionals on the phone, virtually and in meetings

About the role:
The Communications Officer will work across all channels to raise the profile of Blagrave and its partners and the work they do. You'll oversee the day to day management of our social media channels, website, and newsletter, and will leverage your creativity and proficiency in copywriting and content creation across the platforms. With a keen eye for detail, you'll work closely with the team to develop comms outputs, effectively delivering our message so that the right content reaches the right audiences, and our digital channels continue to grow.
This role is subject to Basic DBS. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
Key responsibilities
Social media
- Maintain Blagrave’s social media accounts, and work with the wider team to ensure a regular social media presence for Blagrave.
- Research, create, and publish content for Blagrave’s social media platforms. This includes writing, getting approval and scheduling content, and creating appropriate imagery that is engaging and aligned to Blagrave’s style guide.
- Proactively monitor our social media channels, responding as relevant.
- Monitor social media outputs of other charitable foundations and youth organisations to inspire and inform Blagrave’s communications output.
- Strengthen Blagrave’s digital output/presence and reach by tracking analytics via monthly reporting on social media performance, making recommendations of how we can engage with audiences more effectively
Website
- Regularly update and maintain the organisation’s website, liaising with colleagues to ensure all content is current and relevant.
- Publish regular blog posts and vacancies, when required.
Wider comms
- Liaise with colleagues in other teams to understand and support them in their comms needs, implementing internal / external comms initiatives as required.
- Design, draft and circulate internal and external comms outputs and suggest new ways to communicate our messages to our audiences.
- Be a guardian of Blagrave’s tone and brand identity, reviewing communications outputs prepared by the team.
- Share relevant comms assets and content to external stakeholders as required.
- Document Comms processes.
- Monitor Blagrave’s communication budget, liaising with the Head of Operations and Finance and Governance Manager.
Other
- Provide general support to the Blagrave team where additional capacity is needed across all areas of work.
- Represent the Blagrave Trust externally at meetings when required.
- Show an active commitment to anti oppressive and anti-racist practices including attending organisational training and reflection sessions to implement into your work and Blagrave's wider work.
- Attend regular training to support learning and development.

As Social Media Manager, you'll lead a team to produce, edit, and share social media content for an audience of over 400,000 followers across our Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook pages.
You will oversee our social media calendar and content planning processes, making sure our posts are creative, social-first, varied, and published on time. You'll also help to develop our online community management processes and best practice.
To achieve this, you'll line manage and coach our Social Media Executive and Digital Communications Assistant, as well as collaborating with the wider Communications team, and colleagues across the organisation including press, policy, and marketing.
Crucially, you will listen to online feedback through our comments, content reach and engagement rates to ensure that our outputs are audience-first and deliver on our strategic and commercial goals.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with significant experience of managing social media accounts for a large, targeted audience
You'll be able to demonstrate an ability to identify compelling story and creating engaging social media content
You will need effective line management and coaching experience with the ability to inspire the best results from others.
You will need an understanding of latest trends and best practice in creating engaging digital content; including using data-driven insights to update content strategy.
You'll have strong planning skills and an ability to manage effective social media campaigns that deliver meaningful results
As a person, you'll be creative and highly collaborative with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels across the organisation. You'll also be self-motivated, proactive, and positive, with an organised, flexible, and adaptable approach to work and change.
