Main purpose of job:
To work alongside the Fundraising and Enterprise Manager, organising stands and stalls in shopping centres, markets and community spaces promoting the 131 Social Club - a paid for social enterprise service within the Charity for those over 55 living in Tameside.
The post holder will be responsible for:
- Booking stands and stalls in commercial and community spaces to promote the 131 Social Club.
- Selling the 131 Club experience to older people, their families and carers.
- Arranging for older people to attend free 131 Social Club taster days.
- Overseeing older people who attend 131 Social Club free taster days helping them to become long-term Club customers.
- Working with other department staff to process new 131 Social Club customers, handling all the associated paperwork and completing monitoring logs.
The post holder will also undertake:
- General administration tasks.
- Work to set targets and outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a good track record in marketing and promotions, be able to build a positive rapport with older people and have a genuine interest in older people thriving in later life.
They will also need to have strong administrative and organisational skills.

Relationship Fundraiser
1.0 Job Purpose
The Relationship Fundraiser plays a crucial role in supporting the Relationship Manager in advancing North Yorkshire Hospice Care’s mission by assisting in the enhancement and management of relationships with individual donors.
The Relationship Fundraiser will assist in identifying potential donors, understanding their motivations, and contributing to tailored engagement strategies. Through these efforts, the fundraiser will help to ensure donors feel valued and connected to the charity's cause.
This role will primarily focus on growing and maintaining various fundraising avenues, including in memory, regular giving, facilitating legacy gifts or bequests in wills, and singular donations. The role aims to maximise opportunities for donor engagement and individual giving.
2.0 Key Tasks
- In-Memorium Fundraising Support: Assist in implementing sensitive and impactful strategies to encourage donations in memory of loved ones, ensuring memories are honoured and families and friends are supported throughout their giving journey.
- Regular Giving Support: Aid in driving the regular giving program to secure a sustainable income stream. This will involve supporting in creating tailored appeals, managing communications, and contributing to enhancing donor satisfaction and retention through regular updates and engagements.
- General Donations Assistance: Provide support in overseeing the process for general donations, maximising the ease and effectiveness of one-time and ongoing contributions. This may include assisting in campaign management, donor acknowledgment, and contributing to leveraging special events and anniversaries to inspire giving.
- Donor Relationship Support: Help build and maintain strong, personal relationships with donors through consistent, thoughtful communication and recognition strategies. Utilise CRM to track donor interactions, preferences, and history to tailor approaches and increase donor engagement.

About the Role
Working with the guidance and support of the National Education Programme Manager and the wider Prevention Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the Depaul Education programme in a range of settings, including schools, colleges and Pupil Referral Units across Milton Keynes. The programme aims to prevent youth homelessness by running bold and creative workshops on the subject for large groups of young people, as well as more intensive sessions with smaller groups on related issues such as healthy relationships and conflict management. It also includes training teachers and professionals working with young people on homelessness.
You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with educational institutions to support their young people. This will include selling the programme and meeting specific delivery targets. You will also play a key role in monitoring and evaluating our work to ensure it has the highest impact possible.
Key responsibilities include:
- Effectively lead and coordinate the Depaul education programme in your region.
- Deliver the programme’s workshops to children and young people aged 11-18 in a variety of education and youth settings, including facilitating assemblies, classroom-based workshops and small group work, as well as delivering sessions virtually if required.

The CoppaFeel! fundraising team is going through a very exciting period of growth! So we are looking for a passionate new team member to take on the role of Challenge Events Assistant.
The role of Challenge Events Assistant will sit within the CoppaFeel! Challenge Events team, in the Fundraising Department. You will work with both our Bespoke Challenge Events Manager and our Sporting Challenge Events Manager to support on CoppaFeel!’s challenge events portfolio. This includes our flagship ‘CoppaTrek!’ events that will look to bring in over £1.2 million in 2024, as well as our sporting events programme that includes London Landmarks Half Marathon, Vitality 10k, Royal Parks Half Marathon and Brighton Marathon - to name but a few!
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all challenge events participants, providing excellent supporter experience and building relationships whilst offering motivation and fundraising advice. Alongside delivering outstanding supporter care, you will also handle essential administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day operations and so that our events go off without a hitch.
This role does require some evening and weekend work - although not behind the laptop! Instead you might be cheering on a team of runners at the sidelines of a marathon race, or lacing up your hiking boots, and walking and talking, alongside our CoppaTrek! participants. Therefore, please bear in mind that as part of this role, you will be expected to travel and may have to stay away from home on occasion. Should you be required to work on weekends, you will be entitled to time off in lieu.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! exists to educate and remind every young person in the UK that checking their boobs isn’t only fun, it could save their life. We are the first breast cancer charity in the UK to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim of instilling a new healthy habit that could one day save their life.
Duties and Responsibilities
Third-Party Challenge Events
- First point of call for event fundraisers. Responding to enquiries by phone, email, social media and at face-to-face events

Relationship building with local solicitors, funeral directors and other key stakeholders will be key along with proactive legacy marketing campaigns, and the promotion of the Centers in memory gardens.
A confident and creative professional with experience in individual giving fundraising – ideally in memory giving or legacies - the successful applicant will be adept at building relationships and comfortable offering compassionate guidance to potential donors. Evidence of being a credible, clear communicator will be key and copywriting and creative design skills a huge bonus.
