The role:
As an Income Officer you'll carry out a range of tasks including negotiating payment arrangements with customers, providing welfare benefit and money advice, and preparing applications for court. You'll be on standby to visit customers in their home as well as occasionally attending court hearings.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering a comprehensive rent & service charge collection service across the region
- Monitoring customer accounts for all tenures
- Managing end to end processes
- Engaging with external agencies including local authorities when needed
- Managing evictions
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- Experience in income management or debt recovery/collection
- Knowledge and experience of either social housing, home ownership or the private rented sector
- Excellent customer service skills
- A working knowledge of welfare benefits
- To be a self-starter with a proactive approach and possess the ability to work without close supervision
- To have effective decision-making skills, a diplomatic and confidential approach and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
As you'll need to travel in this role, having a car and full driving licence is essential.
A DBS check will also be undertaken for the successful candidate.

This is a new role, responsible for delivering financial support for our mission from corporate partners. Content, channels and events

Job Purpose
Reporting to our PR Lead, the PR Manager will play a crucial role raising the profile of Save the Children UK amongst key target audiences, by developing and delivering projects that command media attention and coverage.
As a key member of the PR, Artists & Broadcast team, the appointee will apply their experience working with the media to shape major income- and influence-generating campaigns and build our brand.

The PR Manager's key duties will be:
Strategy and Project Management
Work closely with team members in other departments within Save the Children to provide excellent PR support to develop and execute creative ways to deliver on Save the Children's objectives. Delivery to include:
- Brand – Build high profile and positive perceptions of Save the Children and its cause across all audiences via PR. Communicate our brand promise and build understanding with the public and opinion formers, demonstrating the depth, scale, impact and complexity of our work.
- Campaigns – Provide PR support to deliver across high–profile moments across Save the Children's major campaigns such as Christmas Jumper Day in order to achieve mass audience engagement.
- Compelling storytelling - Engage audiences through impactful child-centric stories, championing children's voices in order to empower the communities we work with.
- Reputation management – Support the wider team to protect Save the Children's reputation and identify issues relating to corporate risk management.
Delivering Media Coverage
- Develop and execute mass-market PR plans that amplify key strategic campaigns and initiatives across the calendar year, including brand, fundraising and advocacy priorities.
- Identify and maximise opportunities to generate reactive media coverage, responding effectively to external events, news and the cultural conversation.
- Write, co-ordinate and issue media releases, statements, briefing materials and Q&As, including for high-profile spokespeople and corporate partners, if required.
- Plan, manage and participate in overseas and UK trips to Save the Children programmes for the purpose of generating coverage and content – including hosting journalists and high-profile supporters.
- Commission and manage multimedia crews and organise PR shoots, with the purpose of generating world-class film and photography content that commands media attention.
- Develop and nurture close working relationships with journalists (especially those on features, women's, lifestyle, showbiz outlets) across print, digital and broadcast media - including a diverse range of outlets beyond mainstream media.
- Leverage social media and new technologies develop digital-first PR campaigns, including influencer activations.
- Represent Save the Children as spokesperson externally, networking and building relationships that support brand building activity in the media.
- Take part in the on-call and out of hours media rota. This will see you handling media enquiries and proactively pushing out stories on the weekend and out of hours during the week.
- Support PR Leads and Head of PR, Artists and Broadcast as required in the smooth-running of the team, including chairing meetings and carrying out administrative tasks.

Job summary
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will work closely with the Chief Officer (CO) to grow the business activities of Headway Black Country (HBC).
The BDM's core purpose is to work with the CO, members of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and the Board of Trustees to identify and develop new business and funding opportunities, to enable HBC to meet our charitable objectives, specifically regarding the key themes of:
- Providing support: Offering practical advice, emotional support, and rehabilitation services to individuals who have experienced a brain injury, as well as their families and caregivers.
- Raising awareness: Increasing public understanding and awareness of brain injuries, their causes, and the impact they can have on individuals and their families.

As a CRM Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our new customer relationship management (CRM) system and documentation during the Implementation and Business Change stages. You will work closely with the Business Analyst and CRM Business Change Manager, evaluating processes, creating documentation, helping to write test scripts, report and monitor bug fixes while supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and helping to implement best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of our CRM platform.
Key Responsibilities
· Aid in the creation of functional, technical or test documentation.
· Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues during UAT, and offer solutions to enhance user proficiency.

Making a difference: You will play a crucial role in facilitating life-changing, transformative experiences for young people, many of whom won’t have experienced farm or rural life before. Your expertise in holding relationships will allow the charity to ensure more young people are provided with an opportunity to thrive.
Main Responsibilites
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participation in up to 4 visits a month, including:
- Being the primary contact and relationship holder for a portfolio of schools/organisations and being responsible for deputising for the Head of Farm during those visits
- Planning and delivering farm based and/or cooking activities with young people
- Contributing to farm life including daily walks, mealtimes and running an evening activity
- Participation in, and leading of Jamie’s Farm group meetings
Other major responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Head of Farm in overseeing the tracking and completion of visit documentation and data
- Participation in meetings with visiting staff and ensuring they get maximum value from the Jamie’s Farm experience - Monmouth ‘Cultivating Change’ Lead and Monmouth ‘Legacy’ Lead (coordinating the follow-up process effectively)
- Being responsible for coordinating regular and weekly volunteers at the Monmouth site
- Providing information and media to HQ to support Jamie’s Farm’s marketing and communications
Experience and Skills
- Experience working in a social work, therapeutic or educational setting (essential)
- Experience of working with diverse groups of young people and/or vulnerable adults (essential)
- Ability to exemplify Jamie’s Farm core values of positivity, passion, generosity, collaboration and professionalism
- Strong work ethic and ability to share this with visiting staff and young people
- Exceptional communication, teamwork and organisational skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with diverse individuals and organisations, and to influence and motivate others
- Strong IT and literacy skills to complete administrative tasks
