Fantastic relationship management is fundamental to Parkinson’s UK delivering the impact we want to see for people affected by Parkinson's. As our next Philanthropy Manager, you would focus on raising £10k-£100k+ gifts. You will become part of a collaborative, supportive and positive team and have the opportunity to grow in the role so that we can help you to achieve what you want next in your career. We champion regular learning to develop our skills as face-to-face relationship fundraisers and you will be supported by your line-manager and peers to feel confident with external activity and to try out new ideas.
It is a really exciting time to join as we enter the private phase of Parkinson’s UK’s £12m Nurse Appeal, and grow our philanthropic income for our research and the Parkinson’s Virtual Biotech, our international drug discovery programmes.
What you’ll do
- Identify, cultivate and manage relationships with a pipeline of donors and prospects
- Deliver pipeline activity and income targets
- Secure and deliver a high volume of donor/prospect in-person touchpoints, involving Parkinson’s UK senior leadership in key relationships
- Deliver first-class stewardship by maximising engagement opportunities within our stewardship programme
- Manage the day-to-day activity of our fundraising board and secure new gifts through their networks
- Work with our Nurse Appeal senior volunteer donors to build your pipeline
- Lead on prospecting projects, collaborating with the prospect research and wider colleagues across the charity
What you’ll bring

Key duties include:

· Support the Chief Executive, Directors and senior colleagues to build new funding relationships with key stakeholders.
· Work closely with the Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications to develop and drive the Philanthropy & Partnerships growth plan.

· Demonstrable experience of managing multi-faceted, high value fundraising campaigns across Major Gifts, Trusts, Corporate or Legacy fundraising.
· Experience of developing, building and maintaining relationships with high-value stakeholders.

The RSPB, Europe’s leading nature conservation NGO, is seeking a Director of Supporter Fundraising to lead the charity’s work in recruiting and stewarding the next generation of individual supporters to help address the nature and climate emergency.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is a charity for the conservation of birds and nature, bringing people together who love birds and other wildlife, and who want to take action to restore the health and diversity of the natural world. The charity now manages and protects 160,000 hectares of land across the four countries of the UK.
Public support has been at the centre of RSPB’s work since its foundation as a campaigning organisation in 1889. With 1.1 million current members contributing over £95m to the charity’s cause in 2024, the RSPB has set itself a bold ambition to increase supporter numbers and net income from this core area.
Working closely with the Executive Director for Income and Conservation Investment and other senior stakeholders across RSPB, the Director of Supporter Fundraising will ensure that the organisation maintains and increases its income in membership, individual giving, legacies, in memoriam and community fundraising. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in growing a large and complex individual giving or subscription programme across multiple products and channels. They will also have demonstrable experience of leading successful organisational transformation to create long-term value, as well as of leading projects within a complex stakeholder or matrix management environment. Significant experience in individual supporter fundraising or consumer marketing through direct marketing techniques will be essential.

At Headway Kent, we believe that every brain injury survivor in the region deserves access to the best possible social rehabilitation services. However, cuts in local authority social care funding have made delivering these services increasingly challenging. To ensure we can continue providing the support our clients need, we are establishing our first-ever fundraising department to diversify our income streams and enhance the range of services available to survivors and their families.

We’ve are just launching a new a new website together with a new fundraising campaign to secure a new building at our current base, allowing us to expand and improve our services. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop existing fundraising strategies while identifying new funding opportunities.

• Research and prioritise relevant trusts and foundations.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and driven person with experience in the animal welfare sector to join Raystede. We are the animal welfare charity for Sussex. Person specifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management within charity or international development settings. You should demonstrate a strong understanding of forest governance and human rights, particularly in Central Africa, and exhibit leadership in project management. Proficiency in both English and French is essential, alongside experience in financial management and a personal commitment to defending human rights. Additionally, you should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work under pressure in complex environments, including up to 12 weeks of travel per year to remote forest areas.

About the role:
The Fundraising Lead will be responsible for building and maintaining corporate partnerships that increase income and diversify funding. The post holder’s primary focus will be community organisations, businesses and other bodies.
You will support the organisation to deliver services and support for unpaid carers. You will be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and drive fundraising efforts, community engagement, gifts-in-kind, volunteer engagement and awareness raising.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Develop a partnership engagement strategy that raises the profile of the organisation.
