About the Role
It is a great time to join Break as we prepare to launch our new Care Strategy informed by our staff, management teams and, most importantly, the children and young people we support. Key responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Care Services include:
- Provide leadership in a trauma informed way and have a good understanding of trauma informed work
- Provide effective leadership and management
- Set and monitor operational targets and Key Performance Indictors
- To lead services in achieving OFSTED “Good” or “Outstanding” grading
- To sit as part of the Executive Team
- To sit as part of the Care Committee with the Director
- To contribute to the oversight, development and implementation of departmental financial plans and budgets

- To build impactful relationships with commissioners and other key stakeholders
- Have oversight of the staffing needs

About you:
You will be ambitious, and outcome driven for the young people supported, using your leadership, management and people skills to ensure the high-performance of the care leadership team continues as well as helping shape the wider strategy of the whole organisation as part of the Executive in this new role.
- Able to work towards or to already have a leadership management qualification at Level 7
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience at a senior management level in a care services environment
- Experience of delivering large scale and/or controversial change projects
- Presenting complex reports and updates to audiences ranging
- from young people to the Board of Trustees
- Setting budgets for individual projects and addressing overspend
- Knowledge of the childcare and voluntary sector
- Knowledge of care standards, Ofsted and residential childcare
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes

Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Westminster Theological Centre (WTC) as Finance Director (FD). WTC is at an exciting phase of its development as a fast-growing, innovative college. We are looking for a visionary, solution focused FD to work with the other members of the Senior Exec Team (SET) to build on current achievements, and help the college take full advantage of the current and future opportunities.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the FD will oversee all finance functions of the college and the associated consulting entity. The role will include being a member of the SET, contributing to the strategic management and governance of WTC within the overall framework of the Strategic Plan and in line with WTC’s core vision, mission and values. WTC launched a for-profit consulting entity in 2020, and the FD will also be a member of the Management Team of WTC Consulting Ltd (WTCC). The role holder will provide strategic financial advice to the WTC Board of Trustees and the WTCC Board of Directors.
The FD role includes the preparation and submission of Group Accounts, engagement with stakeholders and students, and oversight of the financial aspects of events and projects as detailed in the attached job description. The FD will also manage the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth running of all financial aspects of college and consultancy activities.
WTC is a pioneering theological college with a vision to integrate the best of scholarship with the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit to transform, heal, and release God’s people into His purposes for them. We deliver transformational theological education within prophetic, worshipping and learning communities throughout the UK, in partnership with local churches. The successful applicant will need to be in full agreement with WTC’s values and mission. As such it is a genuine occupational requirement for the FD to be a practising Christian.
The successful candidate will have professional accountancy qualifications, commercial and/or professional experience, be strategic and solution oriented, and have strong management, team player and communication skills. WTC staff team is small and hard working, with a strong and positive team culture.
Commitment and Pay scale
This is a 4-5 day/week, permanent position (37.5 hours/week FTE) on completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months. The position attracts a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 FTE per year, depending on experience and qualifications, as well as access to a pension scheme. Annual holiday allowance is 25 days per calendar (FTE) year plus bank holidays.

About the role:
The Advance Specialist Prison & Probation Advocate will support women within the prison setting, provide pre-release support, focused on Accommodation, Finance, debt & benefits, Family & significant others and Social inclusion including ‘through the gate’ support.
This exciting new role will be based in HMP Bronzefield and will support in developing referral pathways for women and work in partnership with different departments and services within the prison as well as those in the community. You will co-design an action plan with women accessing support, enabling you to support them to address their accommodation, finance, debt and benefits and health needs and any risks in relation to the interventions identified, as they prepare for release. The role will involve a combination of casework-based approach with delivery of programmes and courses, along with a signposting and advice service for the women in custody.
You will have demonstrable experience and understanding of working with women in a challenging multi-agency environment, ideally working with prisoners and/or their families.
You will build strong relationships with the Pre Release teams to ensure clients are able to maintain or access suitable accommodation, finance, benefits and debt, family and social inclusion support including negotiating terms on behalf of the women. Ensure that interventions are responsive to and meet the needs of women from diverse and minoritised backgrounds. This, together with referrals to wider partner organisations in the community, will ensure additional support needs are addressed post-release and continuity of support exists.
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential
About You:
To be successful as the Advance Specialist Prison & Probation Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
Knowledge and experience of the criminal justice system obtained through academic study, experience of working in the criminal justice system (or closely associated social system).
The ability and experience as a caseworker delivering gender specific and trauma responsive interventions which support resettlement and rehabilitation of female adults in the criminal justice system whether in the community or in prisons.
You will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work in a prison environment whilst remaining calm.
Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload including maintaining and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals, and keeping to deadlines
You will have the ability to complete trauma informed, support and action plans in collaboration with the woman; to support in addressing their multiple and individual needs and enable them to engage with services, which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.

Discovery is a student-run, charity based at Swansea University. Each year, more than 400 student volunteers deliver community-based projects to enrich the lives of the community around them.
The role of the Volunteering Projects Manager
The Volunteering Projects Manager is responsible for the support, development and effectiveness of our projects. Providing a high level of support, coaching and development to our student volunteer project coordinators.
Salary – £30,124.49 (Please not this is NOT pro rata. Discovery is a 4 day week organisation, the salary specified above is for a 28 hr working week.)
Working hours 28 per week (we are a 4 day week organisation)
Normal working hours will be agreed between 9 and 5.30, Tuesday to Friday with a half hour unpaid lunch break, some out of hours working will be expected for which time of in lieu will be granted. Exact working hours to be agreed with the Director.
Annual leave allowance – 26 days pro rata plus bank holidays. Usually taken outside of term time and must be agreed with the line manager.

Rôl y Rheolwr Prosiectau Gwirfoddoli
Mae'r Rheolwr Prosiectau Gwirfoddoli yn gyfrifol am gefnogi, datblygu ac effeithiolrwydd ein prosiectau. Maen nhw’n cynnig lefel uchel o gefnogaeth, hyfforddiant a datblygiad i gydlynwyr prosiectau gwirfoddoli.
Cyflog – £30,124.49 (Sylwer NAD yw hwn yn pro rata. Mae Discovery yn sefydliad 4 diwrnod yr wythnos; mae’r cyflog uchod ar gyfer wythnos waith 28 awr.)
Oriau gwaith 28 yr wythnos (rydyn ni’n sefydliad 4 diwrnod yr wythnos)
Yr oriau gwaith arferol fydd rhwng 9am a 5:30pm, o ddydd Mawrth i ddydd Gwener gydag egwyl cinio hanner awr heb dâl. Bydd disgwyl rhywfaint o weithio y tu allan i oriau arferol a bydd amser yn gyfnewid yn cael ei ganiatáu. Bydd yr union oriau gwaith yn cael ei gytuno gyda'r Cyfarwyddwr.
Lwfans gwyliau blynyddol – 26 diwrnod pro rata ynghyd â gwyliau banc. Fel arfer, bydd gwyliau blynyddol yn cael eu cymryd y tu allan i amser tymor a rhaid cytuno ar hyn gyda'r rheolwr llinell.
Pensiwn Cyfraniad gan y cyflogwr o 5% i gynllun NEST ar ôl 3 mis o gyflogaeth (bydd cyfraniad y gweithiwr yn unol â gofynion statudol)

About Emmaus
Emmaus is a secular organisation supporting homeless and socially excluded people by providing a home for as it is needed, meaningful work in a social enterprise and a sense of belonging and community. There are currently 30 Emmaus communities in the UK stretching from Glasgow to Dover and Norfolk to South Wales, collectively supporting more than 850 people. There are also 3 Emmaus groups working towards the development of services in their areas. About the role
We are seeking an Impact and Evaluation Senior Officer, working with the Impact and Evaluation Manager, Director of Partnerships and Federation Development and with federation members.The role will be central to the delivery of strategic commitment to work together to record, study, continuously improve and broadcast our collective impact.
It’s an exciting time for the Emmaus Federation as we roll out a new In-Form (salesforce) CRM system and interlinked Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Framework.
The role will play a crucial part in implementing, gathering feedback and developing new systems and tools to be utilised by Emmaus communities.
The role will be varied in nature, one day might involve conducting interviews with people experiencing homelessness, then next providing support to a member of staff to improve a communities MEL practice, the following day might involve analysing a data set and writing a briefing paper.
Who are we looking for?
The Impact and Evaluation Senior Officer will play a key role in supporting the Emmaus federation to understand and demonstrates the impact of our work.
The ideal candidate will have strong theoretical and practical evaluation skills coupled with the people skills to make this work accessible to a range of stakeholders.
They will need to be comfortable working as part of a remote team and able to travel to Emmaus communities across the UK to work with staff and companions.
What we offer
· £34,199 pro rata (based on a standard working week of 37.5 hours)
· Working hours: Can be delivered flexibly, Monday – Friday
