About the role
The newly-created role of Digital Content & Campaigns Manager will sit within the National Communications Team to support the delivery of key charity and federation-wide objectives.
As part of our mission to empower people affected by homelessness and poverty, the role will work to harness the potential of multimedia content to demonstrate the breadth of our activities and impact, but also raise the voices of people who have experienced homelessness
The role will be instrumental in the implementation of an evolved Emmaus brand language and visuals across websites, social media and other digital channels, and will work to embed measurement and monitoring processes to grow our reach.
Working with the National Communications Manager, the role will be central to the delivery of communications, fundraising and influence objectives with a strategic focus, while being hands-on in delivering standout content.

What we offer

Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Create engaging digital content for website, social media, and e-newsletters, through written copy and graphics.
- Support the management of CSE’s website, including uploading and editing content.
- Plan, manage, and deliver 4-6 small (30-40 people) in person or larger online (100 people) events annually, including coordination of logistics, content development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support with edits to designed materials including factsheets and leaflets using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support internal communications including organising systems and producing our monthly internal e-newsletter by creating content that motivates employees and informs them of important issues.
- Support with digital channel optimisation including PPC, SEO, social media (paid and organic).
- Support the development of CSE’s social media presence through content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement and reporting.
- Contribute to the operational success of CSE by assisting the team with administrative and organisational duties as necessary. Collaborate with all teams to ensure cohesive delivery of our brand story across the organisation and through all communications.
- Collaborate with teams to monitor brand health, analyse audience insights, and refine our communications strategy.
- Ensure content strategy and resulting core content (incl. image library management, print production, core content, copywriting, designed asset production, and management) is up to date, consistent with our brand guidelines, of high quality and readily available for use by the CSE teams.

As a team player you will report to the Centre Manager, with a functional line from the Chief Instructor.
We are looking for a passionate practitioner, with a background in delivering activities both on and off the water, and experience of maintenance and procedures management. Experience of working with young people is essential.

- Act as Duty Lead Instructor.

About the role:
The Fundraising Lead will be responsible for building and maintaining corporate partnerships that increase income and diversify funding. The post holder’s primary focus will be community organisations, businesses and other bodies.

We are looking for a current University of Northampton student to take on the role of Finance Administrator. Developing your experience alongside our two full time finance professionals you will be responsible for managing cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key duties include verifying and preparing cash receipts for banking, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to cash handling policies. The role also involves reconciling credit card statements, matching transactions with invoices, and resolving discrepancies. Additionally, the administrator processes purchase orders and invoices, checking for accuracy in quantities, pricing, and VAT calculations.
Bank transactions must be accurately recorded in the accounting system, with a focus on correct budget allocation. The Finance Administrator collaborates with the finance team to ensure timely cash flow reporting and assists with month-end and year-end financial reconciliations.

The Rigby Foundation is the charity of the Rigby Family and their wholly owned family business, the Rigby Group PLC. In 2023, the Trustees appointed an Executive Director, the Foundation’s first member of staff, to support them in setting their future strategy.
The Foundation is now a place-based funder, with donations focussed on the West Midlands. Support is prioritised for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds aged between eleven years and twenty-five years, and on evidence-based charity programs that enable young people to succeed in education and have the best chance of securing meaningful employment. The Executive Director is in the process of establishing the Foundation’s ‘Inspiring Futures’ program, that will include 9 secondary schools and one FE college in Birmingham and 11 specially selected charity partners.

The role:
The principal role of the Partnerships Manger will be to support the development, launch and management of The Rigby Foundation’s Inspiring Futures program. The Head of Finance will lead the finance team, ensuring robust financial management and sustainability to support our charitable objectives. With responsibility for a team of five you will lead and provide statutory, financial and management accounting, including all financial planning and analysis, for the Football Foundation (Foundation) and the Premier League Stadium Fund.
The role:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the organisation’s visions e.g. treasury management, developing long term cashflow strategies to maximise returns to the organisation.
- Lead and work with the SMT, Management Group, PMO Lead, and Data & Insight team to create and maintain financial and cost models to support the development and finalisation of strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts, focusing on the relationship between services, resources, and productivity.
- Work with the CFO in preparing and presenting the consolidated budget and plan to the SMT and ARG Committee.
- Develop high level models to support strategic and operational decision making, e.g. assessment of financial sustainability of grant applications and monthly reporting to funders in line with contractual obligations.
- Continue the development and transitioning of the finance team from a mainly transactional team to a team providing forwarding looking information. Enhance collaborative decision making through improved business partnering and transparent reporting.
- Ensure all legal entities comply with relevant legislation and prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax, VAT, Charity Commission, and other statutory financial returns as appropriate.
- Lead and manage the finance team, motivating and developing them so that that they are clearly focused, competent, and work effectively and efficiently.

Essential criteria:
- Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualified financial and operational management experience.
- Proven experience at a senior level in a finance role with responsibility across the entire finance function, including hands on experience in delivering business partnering.
- Knowledge of the legislative, tax and regulatory framework of companies, ideally in the not-for-profit sector.
- Leading an end-to-end external audit process.
- Developing/improving and implementing financial procedures and controls.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and interpret complex issues at Board level, and to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organisation including experience of working with non-executives.
- Can demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude to delivering organisational change and improvement.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop team members.
