A fast-expanding IAPT compliant Service requires a service administrator to support a team of volunteer counsellors. Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a local, independent mental health charity, working in partnership with other statutory and voluntary organizations to provide a range of services to the local community. The service administrator will work alongside volunteer counsellors, service managers and other clinical staff. This is an integral service of the organization delivering counselling to around 650 people per year. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with work experience in a counselling service.
Seeking a proactive and experienced Administrator to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a busy and growing IAPT counselling service through excellent administration skills. You will work closely with and support the Therapy Service Co-ordinator and Therapy Service Administrators to ensure effective administration and organisation of the service.
Experience
- Experience of working in mental health service provision and voluntary sector
- Experience of working in a client-facing administrative and reception role
- Experience in appropriate handling and storage of confidential and sensitive information

Job Title: Experienced Associate Independent Investigating Officers (IOs) for Stage 2 Complaints (This role sits within our Independent Person for Complaints (IPC) service)
Contract: Associate
Hours: Variable, according to demand for services/caseload and role in investigation
Salary: £25.25 per hour (50% professional rate for travel plus expenses)
Location: Associate Independent Investigating Officers for Complaints primarily work from home. About the Role
We are seeking additional experienced Associate Independent Investigating Officers (IO) for Complaints, to increase our capacity to respond to referrals from Local Authorities to provide an independent element to the formal Stage 2 investigations under the Children Act 1989.
The IO will lead investigations, and will give the complainant (who may be a child, young person or adult) the opportunity to express their view, ensure the child or young person’s rights and best interests are at the centre of the investigation and that the investigation/review process is open and transparent. They write a report on the investigation/review, which is submitted to the referring agency.
The Job Description document sets out the expectations for an Associate Independent Person for Complaints (IPC) who is approved by Coram Voice. IPCs are independent, freelance and responsible for their own work. Nevertheless, IPCs are accountable to the organisation for their professional standards and are expected to comply with Coram Voice Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines.
Please Note: the nature of associate work means that we cannot guarantee a regular amount of work, and complaints will be allocated dependent on the associate’s availability, location and the needs and demands of the individual case. Investigation work takes place Monday to Friday within working hours. This position is not suitable for applicants who already work or have commitments more than two days within the working week.

About the role:
The Senior Multiple Needs Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) will work within a dynamic, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service based at the CGL Ealing Women’s Wellness Zone. The IDVA will provide support in the local community and at the Ealing Women’s Wellness Zone. The successful candidate will be co-located up to 5 days a week at the Women’s Wellness Zone.
The IDVA will be closely working alongside CGL colleagues/team to deliver support to women with a range of complex support needs including substance misuse, mental health, domestic abuse, sex working, trafficking, and offending behaviour. The IDVA will work in collaboration with their team members to holistically support women in the borough of Ealing to achieve sustained recovery, improved health and wellbeing, helping women to manage/mitigate risks, and empowering them to reach their fullest potential in society as well as ensuring the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process.
The Senior Multiple Needs IDVA will assess the needs and risks of survivors, carry out short and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support. As well as identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs. They will also proactively advocate and advice women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies, encouraging them to engage with other agencies, and help co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support where necessary.
About You:
To be successful as the Senior Multiple Needs IDVA you will need to have:
Excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC. As well as understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.
Bringing your experience of risk and needs assessment, safety and support planning, and crisis planning and successfully managing high numbers of referrals and experience of working in a co-located setting with another agency and providing consultations/briefings to professionals to support in upskilling them around Domestic Abuse. The candidate will have experience of partnership working and of maintaining excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to work as part of an innovative service, designed to offer multi-disciplinary wrap-around support to women with multiple needs, with the aim of facilitating long-term recovery.

About this job

This is an excellent opportunity for a French speaking Programme Officer to contribute to an organisation that works to protect the world’s forests and strengthen Indigenous Peoples’ and Local Communities’ rights on land and forestry governance. You will support a portfolio of projects, with a primary geographic scope in Africa, and a possible focus on Asia and South America as well. The portfolio will include a multi-year institutionally funded programme of work in West and Central Africa, addressing issues relating to forest governance, climate change and community land rights. An important part of the role will be to help establish consistent and effective working practices across the portfolio so that projects and partnerships are well managed within the programmes.
You will work closely with Programme Managers and Officers working in the Africa region, as well as the wider Programme Management Group (working in other regions). You will also work closely with legal experts across programmes to facilitate matrix working and strategy coordination.

JOB PURPOSE
The Children and Young People’s Mentor will work within the CYP team to deliver services relating to children and young people affected by Domestic violence and Abuse.
They will hold a caseload for direct 1-1 work with young people/ girls and deliver a programme of groups in schools to adolescent girls. Responsibilities will include recording of data, reporting and completing evaluations.
They will be expected to promote the work of the Rising Sun and take a share of responsibility in delivering or assisting with promotional work within the organisation.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Service delivery
- Work 1-1 with young people (aged 11 to 15 years) affected by Domestic violence and Abuse
- Build positive working relationships with local schools to deliver this programme

Background to the role
AUKEL recruited a new Chief Executive in April 2023, and a new chair in February 2024. In March 2024 we published an ambitious five year strategy which sets out how we want to increase the extent we meet the needs of older people in East London. We have a number of organisational transformation objectives which underpin the strategy; these are things we need to do to strengthen our foundations (following a period of rapid growth) and equip us to deliver safe effective services, at scale, across our footprint.
We are looking for someone to join our team to work with the Service Director to lead the transformation of our Hospital and Home services. These:
- Currently are provided at four hospitals broadly covering four boroughs: Homerton (Hackney), Newham (Newham), The Royal London (Tower Hamlets), Whipps Cross (Waltham Forest). And are staffed by 16 AUKEL employees – three co-ordinators, two project officers, 10 support workers, and an administrator.
- Homerton and The Royal London are jointly commissioned until end March 2029. Newham has been extended to the end of June 2026. Whipps Cross is due to be re-procured, with a short extension under consideration, we aim to jointly bid for this with our neighbouring AUKs.
- Assist vulnerable adults in getting home from hospital, carrying out safety checks in the home, give advice on practical and wellbeing matters, and visiting regularly for a period of four to six weeks after discharge
- Are commissioned based on meeting pre-agreed targets for the number of referrals accepted, and are fully embedded into the hospital discharge system.
- Typically include provision of handyperson services, which is operationally delivered separately by three handypeople.
- Include our (paid for) Home and Care service which is delivered separately to our hospital discharge services, and currently supports c. 40 individuals.

The Head of Hospital and Home Services will work with the Director on strategic and operational planning and provide operational leadership for the range of Hospital and Care services delivered by Age UK East London. Contract type

Salary
