We are an award-winning national charity which trains over 9,500 young people affected by street violence each year in emergency first-aid through a team of 350 healthcare volunteers and youth workers. We empower young people with the skills to become part of the solution to violence by developing the skills and confidence to save lives and increasing their understanding of the medical and psychological consequences of violence.

As the StreetDoctors lead for the Region, you will provide leadership in partnership development, volunteer management, the delivery of training and maintaining quality standards.

● To create, develop and maintain partnerships with a range of organisations including, funders, commissioners, community organisations, criminal justice organisations, education providers and youth organisations.
● To develop and manage engaged volunteers and youth workers and ensure their expectations are aligned to the organisation's objectives and provide the best volunteering experience possible.
● To ensure the quantity and quality of training sessions and projects meet the required targets and new opportunities are maximised.

Our client is looking for someone with a passion to create digital communications content for them, supporting staff to delivery on their priorities.

The postholder will be expected to work with colleagues across the team and with the wider organisation and it's affiliates.  The postholder will generate social media output from a range of sources, including policy reports and Wales Union Learning Fund activities, using a range of social media platforms and the website.

You will need to have knowledge of trends in digital technology for external communication campaigns with attention to detail and be highly motivated and enthusiastic.

This role will support the Community Programmes funding cycles, grant holders and applicants and support with processes involved in distributing grants to good causes across GB.

Your tasks:

• Answer enquiries from good causes by email, letter and telephone for the 6 Community Programme Trusts. This includes providing advice on our funding programmes and supporting applicants and grant holders
• Booking and setting up meeting rooms, this involves supporting the preparation of papers, making refreshments, minute taking and arranging travel/accommodation
• Use Salesforce effectively, efficiently and consistently to assess funding applications up to the value of £25,000, complete due diligence checks, review and reply to evaluations, update records and create reports
• Assisting in organising ‘how to apply for funding’ workshops including presenting to potential applicants in front of audiences of up to 100 people and supporting Community Programme Officers with external event planning
• Oversee and maintain the 6 x Trust websites to ensure content is accurate and up to date, this will include creating content after each funding round

Your qualities: 

• Extremely organised working to tight deadlines along with good oral and written communication skills, able to take minutes, draft reports, prepare presentations and bring solutions when challenges arise
• Pro-active approach with a can-do attitude. This will involve being a strong team player, supporting team members with their workloads, bring new ideas to improve processes, able to work under pressure, managing own workload and juggling priorities and deadlines
• Experience in a similar role and passionate for smaller charities and good causes with voluntary sector experience/ good knowledge of the charity sector in GB
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft, e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Analytical and problem-solving skills and the confidence to make decisions within the parameters defined by the Community Programmes Advisor

The Role

To provide a high-quality housing management service, ensuring outstanding customer service and service delivery, by a being a primary point of contact for tenants. Engage with tenants to provide a responsive efficient housing management service that is consistently excellent for all tenancies. Housing Officers are expected to carry out the vast majority of their duties (70%) at our managed accommodation. Your accomodation patch will include a lot of West London, therefore you will need to drive and have your own vehicle (milage reimbursement provided), and be comfortable travelling daily. 

The Support Services Coordinator is crucial in helping with the administration and data management of the Support and Information team. We are a small and friendly team of 8, who need a coordinator with excellent I.T. and data skills who is keen to put these into practice to directly support bereaved families and the professionals who work with them.

Kentown Programme Project Lead

We are looking to appoint a Programme Project Lead who will be responsible for the day to day development and management of the Kentown Children’s Palliative Care Programme.

Reporting to the Director of Care and based at our Kentown Care Team office in Lancaster, you will work in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, specifically Together for Short Lives to lead the project and to raise awareness of the programme and of children’s palliative care.

You will take responsibility for delivering a high-quality family support service, managing the Kentown Family Support Team and will be a member of the Rainbow Trust Care Managers group, contributing to service development across the wider organisation and providing management and leadership to the team in relation to all safeguarding issues.

Having worked within the community, you have a commitment to working in partnership with children, young people and their families, developing, monitoring and delivering service outcomes and building and maintaining successful professional partnerships to ensure the service is accessible to relevant families.

What we’re looking for:

· An experienced child health, education or social care professional - applications will be particularly welcome from those who understand the impact on family dynamics of having a child/young person with a life threatening or terminal illness and those who have worked in bereavement support.

· An experience project manager – you recognise the importance of effective partnership working to successfully lead a project of scale and importance

· A poised and convincing communicator - you will maintain effective relationships with stakeholders including families, referrers, partners and other statutory, private and voluntary agencies.

· Comfortable with a changing environment - you will thrive working at a fast pace and controlling tasks from conception to completion and understand that quickly connecting with people is essential.

· A persuasive, inclusive approach to achieving goals quickly and correctly – with a warm and friendly working style.

· Strong networking skills and confident use of MS Office - Educated to A-level (or equivalent) with a project management qualification.

About the role:

Reporting to the Family Support Manager working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness

Having worked in a stressful and emotional environment you will have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss, and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

What we’re looking for:

· An experienced child health, education or social care professional - applications will be particularly welcome from those who have worked in a community environment and those with a recognised qualification in education, health or social care.

· A warm, inclusive approach to achieving goals quickly and correctly.
