About the role
Music Services is the delivery arm of Nordoff Robbins and encompasses the provision of music therapy and related activities including education, training and research. The Music Services Administrator will work closely with the Regional Manager and alongside other Music Services Administrators to ensure that the reception and admin function is well run, organised, efficient and effective, and that clients, visitors and callers have a positive experience when they spend time with us. Many of our clients lead challenging lives and include vulnerable children and adults. This role is therefore subject to a basic DBS check.

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family. Our specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, expert advice, support and understanding to help families care for their loved one. Purpose of the job/About the role
As Reward and Benefits Manager, you will be the subject matter expert on all aspects of employee reward, ensuring Dementia UK has effective, fair and transparent pay practices, and a benefits package that sets us apart.
Working closely with the People and Finance teams, you will lead the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant monthly processing. You will manage all employee benefits for the charity, liaising with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, and proposing updates and improvements. Additionally, you’ll provide training and support to the People team to enhance their knowledge of reward practices, and will ensure our pay and benefits offering is effectively communicated across the charity.
As our pensions expert, you will ensure compliance with relevant regulations across the Dementia UK Aviva and NHS pension schemes, including auto-enrolment. You will act as the main point of contact between the charity and our pension and payroll providers, fostering strong, productive relationships. You will also lead the annual pay review process, conducting market research, analysing relevant data, and recommending an organisational approach. With expertise in job evaluation, you will perform evaluations and advise on role design to ensure a consistent approach is applied.
To succeed in this role, you will bring experience in managing payroll and pensions administration, along with a strong understanding of best practices in staff reward and benefits. You will have worked within a UK HR department and possess a solid knowledge of UK employment legislation relating to employment, reward, pensions, payroll, and GDPR compliance.

We are seeking 2 part-time Children, young people & family activity officers that can provide engaging, fun and valuable activities that bring children, young people and their families together both in person and online.
No two days look the same in the Activity Programme Team. You might be running an online peer support session one afternoon, taking children and young people out bowling in the school holidays, running a Family Fun Day at our Life Without Limits Centre or taking part in our residential visits twice a year. You’ll also be conducting meetings with colleagues to plan for activities, and ensuring our database is up to date is essential.
The most important asset you can bring to this role is a “can do” attitude and enthusiasm, alongside a strong team work ethic. A commitment to quality is vital as RSBC strive to provide high quality activities for our beneficiaries.
Experience in working with children, young people and/or families would be an advantage, as well as an understanding of supporting children with disabilities.
The key responsibilities within this role are:
· Design, plan and deliver a wide range of high-quality activities for vision impaired children and young people and their families
· Support vision impaired young people with goal setting and achieving their desired outcomes.
· Support the recruitment of vision impaired children, young people and families to activities so they can benefit from RSBC services.
· Link with existing and potential external referral sources to promote RSBC activities and services and encourage children, young people and families to engage.
· Organise inclusive activities led by children, young people and family’s wishes and needs, that ensure building independent skills, confidence and well-being and encourage them to connect with others.
Flexibility is vital for these part time roles with some evening working, and weekends to fit with the needs of children, young people and their families.

When a person or their family member sustains a spinal cord injury it is a life changing experience. They can feel very isolated and that no one understands what they’re going through.
Back Up’s mentoring service is there to help. We know that peer support can have a life changing impact and our Mentoring Team are the ones who can facilitate this through matching them with a suitable mentor who will be able to support them over a series of phone calls to reach their goals. The Mentoring Team Leader leads the team through providing excellent line management and driving the delivery of the team’s business plans to empower the team to ultimately support more people affected by spinal cord injury
In addition to leading the team, a Mentoring Team Lead will assist in creating mentoring relationships and support mentors and mentees as appropriate, assess mentee suitability and provide support in the process of identifying, recruiting and training new mentors.
A Mentoring Team Lead will be motivated to achieve the aims, targets and milestones that have been set in terms of making quality matches and will be comfortable and efficient with data management and GDPR compliance.

We are a 24-hour service and offer support throughout the day and night. There is an abundance of activities that can take place within Sherburn House, and we have visitors who come and bring the fun to us. There is also the lovely little town of Knaresborough, which has lots of nice sights to see and things to do. Sherburn House also has several adapted vehicles so people can go out and about into the wider community to access other activities and different experiences.
No two days are the same, which makes the role exciting, but some day-to-day duties include:

Attend activities and events with individuals.

Assist with meal preparation and medication management.

Support individuals with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.

Monitor and report any changes in physical or mental health to appropriate staff members.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.

We are seeking a Senior Quality Practitioner – Health & Wellbeing Lead, a newly developed role which will significantly contribute to quality assurance across the organisation. You will be part of an established Quality team and will contribute to our audit and social care governance processes.
The role will lead on quality improvement assignments and development of processes across our organisation, particularly those services who are registered with CQC and provide support to service users who have complex health needs. Creative Support currently has over 700 services, including Learning Disability, Mental Health, Care Homes, etc. The role will be well supported within the highly experienced and established quality team who have been together in its current work for over 10 years.
Duties include carrying out quality audits and inspections and contributing to quality improvement and turnaround programmes. The post holder will also be part of a team which responds to specific work requests which may include assisting services with quality improvement work.
In working alongside the quality team, managers and external health professionals, the role supports the organisation to ensure that care and support is well planned, delivered to high standards and evidenced effectively.
The Senior Quality Practitioner will assist with quality audits and inspections and contributing to quality improvement and turnaround programmes. The post holder will also be part of a team which responds to specific work requests which may include assisting services with quality improvement work. The post holder may be required to contribute to Social Care Governance processes through attendance at meeting, preparing and presenting reports and reviewing information received at Head Office (such as safeguarding, incidents etc).
