About the role
As our IT Infrastructure Engineer, your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will ensure our systems operate smoothly. In recent years, we have made significant strides to advance our technology environment, with wide-scale cloud migration enabling a hybrid workforce. You will not only maintain our IT infrastructure but also proactively identify and deliver improvements across our networks, servers, hardware, and telephony. You will ensure industrial-strength identity, account, and endpoint management. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Service Delivery Team to achieve successful incident management and excellent service request outcomes.

The Bureau is the UK’s largest independent non-profit investigative journalism organisation. In the

big tech. In addition, our UK-focused Bureau Local team uses an innovative community-led

Our fundraising
At the Bureau, our funders and supporters are vital. We are almost entirely funded through grants
and donations so – put simply – without their support, we wouldn’t be here.
Although our supporters may come from different backgrounds or have varied priorities, they all
share a common goal: tackling the issues across our society that are eroding democracy and
driving inequality. They support our work to hold those in power accountable, uncover new
evidence to support positive change, and empower citizens.
The Bureau has experienced significant growth over the past three years, increasing our annual
income to £2.8m and expanding to a team of more than 40 people. While the majority of our
income comes from grants, there is strong potential for further fundraising growth, and we are
actively working to diversify our funding streams beyond trusts and foundations.
This is an exciting time to join The Bureau as we continue to build on our strong relationships with
existing supporters while exploring new funding opportunities.
Role and Responsibilities:
Support from trusts and foundations is our main source of philanthropic income so we are looking
for somebody with experience in grants fundraising who can quickly apply their skills and
expertise. You’ll work closely with our Development Director to report to and liaise with current
funders, manage a pipeline of prospects and submit successful applications to secure new grants.
In addition, you will support in building a major donor programme to diversify and strengthen our
funding base. You will collaborate with colleagues at all levels across the organisation, from impact
producers to reporters to finance and operations, in a supportive and welcoming culture that
values teamwork and shared success.
As an excellent communicator, you will be able to take complex issues and translate them into
clear, compelling narratives that resonate with funders and stakeholders. You will also be
passionate about building strong relationships with our funders and supporters.
While experience in high-net-worth fundraising would be a valuable bonus, it is not essential. You
don’t need to have raised funds for non-profit media before, but you do need to be excited by our
work and able to express The Bureau’s key areas of work and impact in an accessible, accurate and
compelling way. We’re a small team, so you’ll need the willingness to pitch in on fundraising tasks
– big or small – to ensure The Bureau is in the best possible position to pursue its mission.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent fundraiser with a demonstrable track record of 3+ years’ experience successfully raising significant funds for charities or non-profits and managing relationships with funders (foundations - essential, high net worth individuals - desirable);
- Strong background in managing grants admin, including due diligence and processing agreements;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to speak and write English fluently;
- Great analytical skills, with experience in researching and identifying new funding sources for various projects;
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities;
- Experience of working with databases and funding pipelines;
- Exceptional time management skills, a professional attitude, and meticulous attention to detail;
- Resourceful and able to think creatively with strong problem-solving skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate at all levels across the organisation.
- Experience in securing funds for journalism, social justice, civil society, human rights, or related causes is desirable but not essential;
- We envisage this as a full-time, primarily hybrid working role, working from our London office two/three times a week.

About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager (Business Development) to join the Barbican’s Development department to lead on developing and securing exciting new partnerships with companies to support the Barbican’s arts, learning and community programmes. The Trust is recruiting a creative and committed Research and Policy Officer to join our team, as fixed term cover for paternity leave. Reporting to one of the team’s Research and Policy Managers, the successful candidate will play a significant role in developing and preparing the Trust’s research and policy outputs, working across the core areas of the Sutton Trust’s work (early years, schools, apprenticeships, higher education and access to the workplace). This will include helping to produce original, data rich and policy relevant research reports, along with contributing to other Trust research projects where required. They will also support the policy and advocacy work of the Trust, including performing background research on topics relevant to educational inequality and social mobility as required.
Main duties
- To contribute, with colleagues, to 2 or more data-rich research reports accessible to practitioners and policy makers, over the course of the year, as agreed with the Research, Comms and Policy leadership team.
- To support the Sutton Trust’s programme of research and policy work, including:
- Providing staff with background research, analysis and data on relevant topics
- Producing literature reviews
- Supporting research funding bids
- Providing administrative support
- Working with Communication colleagues to develop messaging and content for disseminating and publicising reports.
- Supporting advocacy work, as required, with MPs’ staff, civil servants, special advisers and other policy makers.

Person Specification
Essential:
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of research methods, particularly quantitative research and literature reviews. This should include experience of using data analysis software such as R/SPSS/Stata/Python or equivalent.
- A qualification in a social science or other numerate discipline, including statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, data science or similar discipline in the social or natural sciences at undergraduate level, or comparable experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Personable, flexible and discreet; able to fit in to a small team
- Being sympathetic to the aims of the Trust and its mission to address educational disadvantage;

Desirable:

Terms of Appointment

Who you are

Duties:

About us at the NCT
A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.
Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.
We are seeking a capable service delivery manager who is passionate about supporting parents and infant feeding to lead this project. This role is community-based and will include travel across the Hackney region with some homeworking (expenses will be reimbursed).
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing the parent support project in its entirety across the region. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Leading on perinatal peer support across the region.
· Managing the project staff team.

Charity People are delighted to be supporting a leading UK charity that supports the wellbeing of individuals working in the financial sector, in the recruitment for a dynamic and skilled Digital Project Officer. This is a newly created role, in which you will be reporting to the Head of Digital Engagement. This role can be conducted as full-time, or part-time (salary pro-rata).
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage digital initiatives, optimise the organisation's website, and improve the user experience across their digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Coordinate digital projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets with the Head of Digital Engagement to guide the production process. Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of our website, including content updates, performance optimisation, and bug fixes. Implement SEO and CRO best practices to boost search engine rankings and visibility. Collaborate with external agencies to evaluate website performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and HubSpot.
- Webinar Programme Management: Develop and manage the webinar schedule in collaboration with marketing and wellbeing teams. Ensure brand consistency in presentations and set up webinars across multiple platforms. Handle post-production tasks, including video editing and reporting on webinar data for insights and improvements.
- Audiences and Innovation: Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Work with internal teams to develop audience surveys and incorporate user research into digital projects.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong project management experience, especially in coordinating or managing digital projects from start to finish.
- Proven experience managing websites, ideally using WordPress or Drupal.
- Exceptional attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Google Marketing Suite (GA, Looker Studio) and an understanding of SEO and UX/UI principles.
Desirable Skills:
- Project management qualification (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
- Experience implementing analytics tracking using Google Tag Manager or similar tools.
- A collaborative, inquisitive, and adaptable mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
