As Fundraising Officer (Trusts) you will be working alongside the Fundraising and Development Manager to ensure we have the necessary funding needed to navigate the next stage of our development, consisting of an ambitious strategy and plan for growth over the next two years.
You will be self-motivated and proactive as you support the development of our approach to fundraising through trusts and foundations. You will identify new opportunities, write compelling proposals and drive ongoing engagement to increase our income.
Our aim is to reach a sustainable income of c. £1 million within the next three years, enabling our coaching team to work with more participants preparing for release, empowering them to realise their potential. Approximately 70% of our income is from trusts and foundations and we anticipate this will continue for the foreseeable future. We have a strong base of funders from which to work, and this role is intended to build on those relationships and develop new ones. This will ensure we have long term, sustainable funding for the future.

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. Blackpool Crisis Support - Sycamore House is a community-based crisis service, working to a recovery model with the aim to reduce the amount of A&E and Hospital admissions through evidence-based CBT interventions. We provide a range of intervention support and are partnered with the NHS, working alongside the Home Treatment Team who offer clinical governance. Additionally, we offer a range of services for people with mental ill health to become more connected to their local community, building on their social engagement. What are we looking for?

THE ROLE
The Tree Equity Officer will lead on our vision that by 2030 we would like to see the added protection of existing trees and en route to 1 million more trees established in Scotland’s urban areas that currently have a low Tree Equity Score (TES). They will be responsible for establishing and developing partnerships with others to deliver exemplar projects across Scotland that demonstrate and communicate benefits of improving TES. The Tree Equity Officer will Advocate to embed use of TES in Local Area Plans/LA strategy of city authorities and encourage city authorities to raise funding for improving TES in their cities.
As part of the Scotland Team, they will be responsible for working together collaboratively with other colleagues across the Trust to develop and oversee the delivery of a Tree Equity strategy. They will work with policy and advocacy colleagues to influence local and national government and others to embed Tree Equity as a tool to inform and direct urban forestry and green space delivery and preferably embed within policy.

StandOut Coach (based in prison)
As a StandOut Coach, you will be attached to one of the three London male prisons we partner with but can expect to work in all of them. You will work alongside a Lead Coach to deliver the StandOut Programme. The programme is delivered in two parts: first an intensive group course in prison, followed by ongoing support of participants whilst they wait for release, through one-to-one coaching and workshops.
You will be key to StandOut’s unique through-the-gate approach, supporting men as they prepare for release and working closely with the Community Team as they support people to find the stability they need to realise their potential, achieve their goals and rebuild their lives after prison.

About the role
The Exchange is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Sales Assistant with a flair for customer service, and a passion for plants, craft and people. This is an exciting new opportunity to help support our Retail Manager in establishing The Garden Room as a vibrant, successful and welcoming space for retail, selling homeware and gifts; craft and garden supplies and tools; plants and plant care products; and some fashion, fragrance and cosmetics. The Role
Many of the people accessing RSC services face multiple challenges beyond those presented by problematic substance use. Some people are homeless or are facing loss of accommodation, they may have a history of repeat homeless and struggle to remain in their home without support. Some people have a history of offending and may have spent periods of time in prison and under the supervision of the Probation Service. People facing these multiple challenges are more likely to also have a history of mental ill-health, trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and are the group that are at the highest risk of harm among those who access the RSC service.
The Housing & Criminal Justice Pathways worker role is to support people facing these multiple, complex and interlinked challenges. Building trusting relationships with the people you will support can be a difficult, frustrating and challenging process - challenging stigma, barriers and "closed doors" along the way. As a result the role is also highly diverse and rewarding, as you support people through their recovery journey.
You will be working within the wider RSC South Cumbria Team. This is a multi-disciplinary recovery team comprising Recovery Coordinators, Hope workers, Medics, a Counsellor, a Housing and Criminal Justice Pathways worker, an Employment specialist, an Admin team and Volunteers. They are a supportive and welcoming team, who are passionate about supporting and promoting recovery for those they care for and within their local community.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage a caseload, devising, implementing, and reviewing on-going co-produced support plans
· Supporting individuals to access and maintain engagement with wider support services including Recovery Coordinators, Probation Practitioners, Housing Options Teams and Housing Officers, and Mental Health teams
· Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for individuals
Skills and Qualifications
· Good general education with GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes.
· Knowledge of welfare benefits system and relevant legislation.
· You will have a passion for making a difference and fair chances for all should be at the core of everything you do.
· You will be compassionate, with empathy for and an understanding of the needs of the individuals you will be supporting.
· You will have a tenacious, innovative and resilient approach to delivering support.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Advocate to join our team covering Shetland. You will be involved in one-to-one advocacy along with group work across the area; this could be in a clients’ home or other suitable community venue and be home based for telephone for administrative tasks. Therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential.
This is a part time role for 21 hours per week, applicants who do not hold the Level 2 Award in Independent Advocacy will start on £22,500 per annum pro-rata.
About you
