South East London Mind are working in partnership with Bridge Support and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the Greenwich Mental Health Hub.  This forms part of the new transformation of mental health services in the Royal Borough of Greenwich under the NHS Long Term Plan. The service brings together the expertise of local primary, secondary and voluntary sector mental health care providers with the aim of providing flexible, holistic and integrated services for adults with mental health problems.

The integrated team provides support to people with long-term mental health problems within a primary care and community mental health setting, helping people develop their independence, self-management skills and achieve their recovery goals.

We are looking for a Mental Health Advisor with experience of working within mental health services including supporting prevention, recovery and self-management. Applicants should have experience of completing assessments, managing a diverse caseload, working in a busy work environment, and possess effective skills in communication. An ability to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and to show initiative is essential for this role.

The role will involve:

• Management of a diverse caseload
• Providing recovery-orientated individual and group-based support to adults with mental health problems

We are currently recruiting for a Fundraising Officer whose principle role will be to develop, support and champion Individual, Corporate and Community Fundraising activity. 

The main purpose of this role is to collaborate with the Fundraising Manager in order to drive all fundraising activity in support of the Charity.

The secondary purpose of the role is to plan, manage and execute a programme of fundraising initiatives across the area to encourage corporates and community to help generate income through well considered, thoughtfully planned and effectively delivered programmes of fundraising activities.

The incumbent will have direct ownership of specific areas to allow for independence and the ability to grow skills. Experience in Legacy/will-writing campaigns or programmes would be an advantage.

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify prospective new corporate partners in specific sectors through research, networking, and an understanding of the marketplace with the goal of maximising sustainable opportunities for income generation to agreed budgets.

• Develop and nurture portfolio of corporate accounts, liaising with directors, CSR managers and executives to cultivate effective and sustainable partnerships with companies that are truly committed to helping Hounds for Heroes achieve its aims.

• Actively track in-year and long-term income potential, highlighting income at risk or lost, and develop plans to minimise the impact

• Act as a brand ambassador for the Charity establishing multi-level relationships which educate and inform key contacts and Charity ambassadors and encourage the growth of a dedicated supporter base.

• Maintain thorough records and plans in support of all activities

• Maintain a thorough and up-to-date understanding of Hounds For Heroes’ operational priorities, articulating our vision and creating winning cases for support

• Promote networking events in order to raise the profile of the Charity and its activities nationally but with a particular focus in southern England

The Events Fundraiser will be responsible for managing the portfolio of challenge events including the marketing; on the day delivery; first class stewardship and participant support from sign up to event completion and volunteer recruitment and management.

Due to the nature of our work, you will be required to attend some events and meetings throughout our catchment area which can be during weekends, early mornings or evenings.

We require a Counsellor to provide counselling interventions and family support services in schools across the Diocese of Salford according to each school’s formal agreement.

The role requires you to liaise and work with parents and families to ensure that the child/young person’s needs are being met and any issues that arise are being addressed appropriately. This will also include providing support and guidance to school staff on these matters.

You must have knowledge of safeguarding guidelines and risk factors in relation to working with children and young people and be able to respond accordingly by following the locality safeguarding procedures and ensure that priority is given to the Safeguarding Policy and Procedures in all work undertaken. You must also support the school staff with safeguarding.

You must have competent IT skills, be confident with systems, complete reports, maintain records and manage confidential data and be able to review and obtain feedback on the support in place for the children and young people and provide this information back to the schools and Caritas Schools’ Service as required.

You must also be able to make autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice and approaches and partake in supervision one to one, clinical and group reflective supervision with other counsellors. 

Registered counsellor status with the BACP or UKCP is essential. However, we will discuss experience and qualifications on a person-by-person basis if you are selected for an interview.  The salary includes accrued annual leave.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated individual, who has a flexible attitude to lead on our translation service within the Fund.

The Fund is a truly bilingual organisation. Our principle is to treat the Welsh and English languages equally by offering a bilingual service to our customers and grant holders on a day-to-day basis.

You will work independently alongside numerous teams to ensure an effective and accurate translation service for the whole organisation.  You will ensure that all our online and off-line materials, including new web pages, publications and corporate initiatives, are translated in accordance with agreed deadlines.

You will work closely with our Welsh Language Officer to ensure that the Fund fulfils its statutory legal requirements to comply with the Welsh Language Standards under the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011.

• Work with the programme co-ordinator and additional administrative support to deliver the SLDP discernment process from initiation to completion at the moderation panel and the subsequent communication of outcomes and feedback. This will include serving on the panels, working with all key stakeholders associated with the discernment process and ensuring accurate information is provided and recorded across the entire process.
• Drive the approach and continual evolution for the SLDP programme ensuring the design, development and implementation of a high- quality L&D curriculum for the learning community.
• Shape, plan, schedule, implement and evaluate each element of the learning design including residential modules, mentoring, senior leadership and pilgrimage experiences and projects linked to the national vision and strategy of the Church of England.
• Manage the programmatic complexity of having multiple cohorts at different points in the learning journey.
• Act as the lead facilitator on each module to provide 'sign-posting' throughout the agenda plus expert input where relevant.
• Ensure high quality input through the identification, commissioning, briefing, supervision and review of internal and external experts as faculty and facilitators in the modules, or in the provision of mentoring, or learning experiences.
• Engagement and supervision of external coaches to provide role coaching at agreed points across the programme.
• Collate trends and data from the evaluations and participants to inform future design, and to demonstrate the impact of the programme.
• Present at governance meetings and any other relevant project boards, to consult with and influence senior leaders across the Church.
• Manage administrative support which is provided by a Project Co-Ordinator.
• Contribute to the development and facilitation of bespoke learning interventions for various groups as needs emerge e.g. action-learning groups, development for BAME clergy and Church Traditions, or the design of cross learning community events.
• Help to build and maintain a high-quality pool of external coaches and teaching faculty.
• Coach senior leaders from any of the leadership programmes as the opportunities arise.
• Contribute to writing reports for key bodies when required, including the House of Bishops, the College of Bishops and General Synod if required.
• Deputise for the Head of Senior Leadership Development in internal and external meetings if required
• Contribute to the 'knowledge capital' on leadership in the Church and to the organisational learning that arises from the programmes.
• Any other duties as required and commensurate with the post.

• A salary of £66,186 plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of salary.

This role

We are recruiting for an experienced senior HR professional to take ownership of all UK HR functions within the organisation, building on the structures already in place to ensure we are a supportive and dynamic place to work.

Justice and Care is at an exciting moment with the imminent launch of a new ten-year strategy and this role will be at the forefront of helping the organisation thrive as we seek to increase our impact.

The Head of HR is a standalone role but will work closely with the Global leadership team and form part of the UK Leadership team. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, employee experience, learning and development, reward, talent management, people analytics, EDI and wellbeing. 

Your main responsibilities will include;

• Developing and delivering a forward-thinking People Strategy. 

• Leading on all people-related activities throughout the full employee life cycle including recruitment and onboarding, performance management, leavers, and related policies and systems. 

• Leading on the development, updating and day-to-day implementation of progressive HR policies and processes. 

• Leading on all employee relations matters ensuring are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal requirements and Justice and Care’s policies and procedures.

• Implementing and overseeing all learning and development and training programmes within the organisation.

• Managing the HR System ensuring it holds accurate information on all staff

• Ensure we have in place robust and competitive pay and reward frameworks, supporting high performance and career progression. 

• Work with the Director of Finance and the Finance team to ensure the accurate processing of payroll. 

• Line manage the Executive Assistant/Team Administrator.
