We are seeking Gambling Support Practitioners with qualifications or experience in health or social care, and an empathic approach to help people change their behaviour through skilled intervention. You will deliver psychosocial and recovery support interventions as part of a cohesive recovery plan, working collaboratively with external and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for service users.

There will be lots of opportunity to participate in service promotion, networking activities and events to support the visibility of the service, as well as developing relationships with local services and communities to strengthen pathways into the service. 

We require a full-time commitment, including working three days from 9-5pm and two days from 12-8pm per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays (9-2pm remotely).

About you

If you are passionate about supporting others to make positive changes in their lives and want to make a difference by providing interventions to people impacted by gambling, we would love to hear from you. You should have significant experience in individual client work in the fields of addictions, mental health, or social care, working with adults or young people. Flexibility in using a range of low and high-intensity interventions and modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) tools, is essential.

The successful candidate should live within a reasonable distance from GamCare’s London office, as there will be expectations to work from the office when required and travel across Greater London for service delivery or community events.

We are looking for a well-organised, highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a full-time Youth Worker (Youth Voice), supporting our mission to enable young people who are homeless, facing homelessness or unsafe to achieve independence and positive futures.
The successful candidate will work within the Youth Work Team to deliver our frontline drop-in service and support our weekly and monthly activities to all young people experiencing homelessness.
You’ll specialise in ensuring a diverse range of young people’s voices are heard, facilitating inclusive activities which increase youth participation across all our services and leading on the delivery of our youth forums. We have an ambitious plan to improve and accelerate our youth voice strategy and this role will be at the heart of this delivery.
You should be experienced in designing, planning and facilitating a range of activities and group work with and for young people and be able to work dynamically in a fast-paced day centre environment. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about youth engagement and skilled in bringing out the ideas, voices and opinions of young people to shape service delivery. We are seeking a Therapeutic Practitioner to join our newly established Health Team. This specialist role will enhance our current provision and improve the quality and breadth of mental health support available to young people. The successful candidate will work within the Health Team, in collaboration with our partner organisation Camden & Islington Young People's Service, to deliver 1:1 emotional and practical support, assist in our drop-in service, and facilitate workshops for all young people experiencing homelessness.

You will specialise in helping young people improve their self-confidence while improving their understanding of difficult emotions such as anger. Additionally, you will focus on developing their thinking and practical skills, as well as coping and de-escalation strategies. Your work will aim to improve relationships among young people within the day centre, and continue to promote trauma informed working practices across New Horizon, so that all of our services are designed to address the psychological and emotional needs of young people who are unsafe or facing homelessness.

The Mare and Foal Sanctuary rescues abandoned, neglected, or abused horses and ponies, offering them sanctuary for life. In each of our five peaceful sanctuaries in Devon, we unlock a world of natural, wild beauty where horses, ponies, and people who were struggling can enjoy life again.

Social Media Manager

Contract: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week

Salary: £43,668 - £45,851 with excellent benefits

Location: London, UK.
Hybrid Working: A minimum of 40% of working time is spent face to face, either in the London office or as a result of external engagement or travel for WaterAid. WaterAid is located at Canary Wharf, London, and this will be your location and contract base.

About the Team:
The Digital Content and Experience Team are a group of experts who manage WaterAid's owned digital channels and content. From compelling emails, to thumb-stopping social media content, to finely crafted web content - we're all about telling stories and creating experiences online that raise awareness, inspire brand love and stimulate action.

About the Role:
As our Social Media Manager you'll have an exciting, busy and creative role. You'll be the owner of our social media channels, responsible for bringing our strategy to life and working with lots of other teams to ensure the best use of social media to achieve wider organisational goals too.
Some of the highlights:

• Working with talented comms professionals across the world to find, develop and produce stories about our work.
• Using your creativity and deep knowledge of social media to make content that is entertaining, educational and inspiring.
• Covering iconic events and partners, like Glastonbury Festival, The Championships at Wimbledon and the London Marathon.
• Collaborating with famous friends and talented creators on shared content that will get WaterAid's message in front of new audiences.
• Owning the delivery of social media campaigns to support key fundraising appeals, brand awareness moments and mass campaigns.
• Strolling through the office in a toilet costume from time to time.

About You:
You'll need to know social media inside out, be able to think fast on your feet and be happy to get stuck into making all manner of content as part of a small but mighty team.

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience of content creation, especially assets and video for social media.
• Extensive experience in channel management and using management platforms (such as Brandwatch, Later, Sprinklr etc).
• The ability to manage stakeholder relationships globally, influence effectively at all levels and work collaboratively as part of a matrix structure.
• The ability to self-manage, innovate for continuous improvement and respond creatively to emerging trends and technology

You'll also ideally have video editing experience and would be comfortable presenting in front of camera, although these skills aren't necessary.

Blue Cross is searching for a motivated and results oriented Events Officer to join our team on a 12 month maternity cover contract. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting Blue Cross's mission by supporting the development of exciting community and event fundraising activities.

You'll manage a diverse portfolio of fundraising events, ensuring they align with our financial goals and generate income to support the vital work we do for animals.

Here's a glimpse into what your day to day might look like:

• Working closely with the Community & Events Manager to deliver on fundraising targets and ensure the success of our events.
• Taking ownership of project management for various fundraising events, including physical and virtual challenges like the London Marathon. This could involve everything from planning and logistics to participant recruitment and post-event evaluation.
• Developing engaging marketing strategies to attract new participants and build a loyal following for Blue Cross events.
• Conducting research and benchmarking within the fundraising sector to ensure Blue Cross remains competitive and at the forefront of innovative fundraising techniques.
• Working collaboratively across the organisation to promote Blue Cross's work and build strong relationships with internal teams. This could involve leveraging their networks and securing key information for upcoming projects.

About you

You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you excel at managing multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines. Strong financial acumen is essential, with experience developing fundraising reports, managing budgets, and conducting financial data analysis.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are key to connecting with a diverse range of stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, participants, volunteers, and more. A collaborative spirit and a creative mind for developing innovative fundraising strategies are crucial.

Most importantly, you'll share our passion for Blue Cross's mission and be flexible for occasional travel and out-of-hours work.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• You have proven experience working in event fundraising and a demonstrable track record of success.
• You'll know how to research, plan, deliver, and evaluate a diverse range of fundraising activities, ensuring they're impactful and achieve their goals.
• You'll work seamlessly with internal and external agencies to ensure project success, leveraging their expertise and resources.
• You can develop and deliver marketing plans to attract participants through various channels, maximising event reach and engagement.
• With excellent written and face-to-face communication skills, you can connect effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, inspiring action and building strong relationships.
• You can manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities while remaining organised and delivering results.
• You have experience collaborating with other fundraising teams to deliver diverse activities across events, corporate partnerships, and key supporter cultivation initiatives.
• Driving license required.

A bonus if you have:

• Proficiency in spreadsheet software for financial data analysis.
• Experience working with fundraising databases and MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) to manage donor data, create reports, and communicate effectively.
