Reporting into the Legacy Marketing Manager, you will lead and manage the regular recruitment of in-memory supporters via a range of channels including direct mail, telemarketing, broadcast and digital media, events and other channels. You will be responsible for excellent supporter stewardship and developing the free wills programme.
Key Responsibilities:
· To lead on creating and implementing a new offline and online in[1]memory marketing and stewardship programme which will include: managing data selection briefs, creating creative briefs, developing content and artwork using internal or external resources and liaising with other teams as appropriate.
· Manage the administration of and reporting on the Free Will-writing schemes. Manage the promotion of the Free Will schemes in direct mail, telemarketing campaigns as well in digital channels.
· Manage Barnardo’s in-memory digital journeys, working with Barnardo’s Digital Fundraising team to manage website content, optimise website user experience and develop digital journeys.
· With the support of the Legacy Marketing Manager, develop and test a legacy events programme.
· Ensure accurate data input of supporter information on the supporter database, supporting the capture of response data into results spreadsheets, monitoring and circulating results. Responsible for collating monthly reports and other reports for the Team as appropriate.
· Manage fulfilment and thanking processes, ensuring that all donors are thanked with appropriate sensitivity using online and offline communication channels.
· To support the overall Legacies team promotion of the importance of gifts in Wills and in-memory giving to internal and external audiences.
Person Specification:
· Highly desirable to have in-memory experience and Legacy Marketing knowledge, ideally gained in a large organisation, and a strong understanding of Direct Marketing, with a track-record of success.
· Experience of managing direct marketing campaigns across a wide range of media, including managing creative production, writing data briefs, managing print production and monitoring results.
· Experience of using data and insight to inform future plans.
· Experience of influencing and negotiating with stakeholders that have differing priorities across departments in order to achieve common goals.
· Ability to accurately input data, maintain systems and report from team databases.
· Effective and sensitive relationship management of legacy and in-memory supporters.

The role:

About the team
The Income Generation Directorate at Shelter comprises of 5 departments, delivering a mature fundraising programme that has seen continuous year on year diversity and growth. The directorate generates over £48m gross income each year, of which a high percentage is unrestricted. About the role
This is an essential and valued role within the Partnership Management team, as you will help design and deliver impactful partnerships to generate income to fund our vital work in response to the national housing emergency. Overview of the consultancy
The Irish Aid funded A Better World (ABW) programme consists of eight projects across Cameroon, Liberia, Senegal, and Sierra Leone working on three thematic areas: citizenship and political participation (CPP), inclusive education (IE) and inclusive eye health (IEH).
The CPP project's outcome statement is: "Governance systems and processes…are more inclusive, accessible, and responsive to people with disabilities, so that they can engage in decision-making and active citizenship."
A qualitative data collection activity is planned in 2024 to support evidence generation and evaluability of the project's outcome.
This work is to support evidence generation and evaluability across the ABW programme. Qualitative data collection activities are being planned to collect in-depth narratives that help to understand change. There are planned participatory workshops with initial activities that aim to set the scene to better understand the changes that occur during the project.
The focus of the data collection will be on understanding the recent/current perceptions and experiences of stakeholders in relation to the participation of youths with disabilities in local governance. This activity will purposively sample young women and men with disabilities and community leaders to discuss their perceptions and experiences.
The data collection activity will be qualitative and participatory, involving storytelling through workshops with the different stakeholder groups. The tools will be adapted and flexibly used to ensure appropriateness with the different stakeholders and accessibility for people with disabilities.
Purpose of the consultancy
The consultant will be required to support with the primary data collection, as well as some aspects of preparation for data collection, and the data analysis and report writing. The consultant will bring experience and expertise in participatory methods and workshop facilitation. A consultant based in Sierra Leone is strongly preferred, to bring contextual knowledge and understanding, as well as local language skills. The consultant will work closely with Sightsavers MEL staff and the project team in Sierra Leone, to conduct the data collection and complete other relevant tasks.

- Experience working with people with different disabilities is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, ability to work in local languages in Sierra Leone including Krio is essential.

About you
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Manager to be responsible for the marketing and external communication of all RHN services and charitable activity. This is a specialist marketing and communications role and your primary focus will be on developing and running marketing campaigns, producing promotional materials and identifying opportunities for growth. Specifically, the RHN wishes to increase growth and income through marketing to commissioners, referrers, families, clinical networks, partners, funders and all external media to maximise the impact of targeted marketing campaigns. The RHN has ambitious plans to grow its profile and a key part of achieving this is by targeting marketing collateral to key audiences.
With outstanding interpersonal and writing skills, we are looking for candidates with demonstrable experience of working in a marketing communications role and implementing effective marketing campaigns across a range of channels, ideally within a complex organisation or healthcare setting. Candidates must have experience of developing creative and innovative marketing and communications campaigns as well as have the ability to manage conflicting priorities and effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent problem solving skills are also essential along with strong organisational and planning skills, as well as experience of budget management.
This is a full-time position but we are also happy to consider applications from candidates looking to work a minimum of 3 days a week, ideally all 3 on site.

East Sussex Community Voice (ESCV) is supporting the Sussex voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) Leaders Alliance (SVLA) in developing a new team to work on behalf of the VCSE with health and care partners across Sussex.
We are seeking a Strategic Lead, the role is part time (0.6 FTE) and will cover East Sussex. The roles require hybrid working, with the flexibility of office, home and some travel.
You will be part of a new team of 4 Strategic Leads, with counterparts based in Brighton and Hove and West Sussex, working to develop the sectors strategic role as a partner in the emerging health and care integrated structures to reduce health inequalities and improve population health for people living in Sussex.
The postholder will work closely alongside the VCSE within East Sussex and as a team with the Sussex Strategic Lead to develop and enable strong relationships to support the VCSE in its preparation and response to the developing strategic commissioning approaches in the health and care sector. Recognising the breadth of the VCSE sector, the multiple funding arrangements and the introduction of the new structures, the postholders will enable collaborative working between NHS, Sussex with the range of VCSE providers at neighbourhood, place and system level.
The work will include developing health and care partners understanding of the local VCSE eco system and developing and embedding the principles of co-design, co-production, and strategic commissioning within the commissioning and funding cycle that will drive improved population health outcomes for the integrated care system.
The successful candidate will be strategic thinker with strong leadership experience and understanding of the needs, complexities and challenges faced by the VCSE sector, NHS and local government partners. They will have excellent knowledge and understanding of the strategic national and local context and key drivers across the breadth of local health and care structures, bringing significant experience and understanding of strategic commissioning and the range of funding models and mechanisms to the team and be comfortable working in an environment of transformational change.
They will also hold a track record in engaging, influencing, and securing shared ownership to enable a collaborative vision to be realised along with experience of working in rapidly changing environments. Experience of developing and managing a varied range of projects with demonstrable success in delivery and budget management of simple projects, along with some experience of governance either through Board or Committee membership are a must.

During this time, we’ve seen a huge community of mentors from across the UK’s creative industries come together to support nearly 2,000 underrepresented young people to pursue higher education, creativity and careers.
As the Merseyside Mentoring Officer, you will work to recruit, match and support mentoring pairs across Merseyside. Key Tasks
- Recruit and maintain a network of volunteer mentors, in collaboration with the wider Mentoring and Arts Emergency team
- Organise mentor training events and carry out necessary safeguarding measures, including enhanced checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for volunteers
- Promote the mentoring programme with schools, colleges, and other referral partners
- Manage existing relationships and develop new ones with schools, colleges, and other referral partners
- Manage application and onboarding processes effectively
- Ensure the best possible mentor matches for young people and provide high-quality support throughout their mentoring relationship
- Monitor the programme and share updates proactively with the Mentoring Manager, including reviewing and responding to mentor reports
- Curate monthly newsletters, sharing opportunities with Merseyside-based mentees
The role can be home or office based, or hybrid. Arts Emergency’s head office is in London and Manchester. We also have access to Spaces offices around the country which can be used by all staff if an office space is needed outside these areas - including a co-working space off Wood Street in Liverpool city centre. Regular travel across Merseyside is essential as part of programme delivery.

As a member of the ‘Training Ground’ project, we want you to engage with young people and enable them to reach their full potential with education, training, and employment (ETE) opportunities.
As an Employment Mentor you will help the young people to develop their skills, confidence and offer them guidance when entering the workplace.
The Training Ground programme uses the power of the club’s badge to engage with young people in the community. The project will provide one-to-one mentoring sessions and access to wraparound support, including physical activity sessions, employability and life skills sessions.
The programme will provide an opportunity for targeted groups of young people not currently in education, training or employment in Merton and Kingston to access training and work experience to enable them to gain the skills and confidence to gain employment.
The post holder will have experience in working with young people from a range of backgrounds, whilst also building professional relationships with employers and external stakeholders.
