As our Head of Legacy and Mid-Value, you will lead the dedicated Legacy and Mid-Value Squad to set and deliver predominantly one-to-many direct marketing strategies that will allow us to unlock the great potential we have within our large and committed supporter-base for donors to give at a higher level either during their life-time and/or by leaving a legacy for children.

You will work within a scrum (championing agile ways of working within the team) to deliver ambitious results and will collaborate closely with the other teams across Fundraising and Marketing as well as contributing to global communities of specialists in Legacy and Mid-Value fundraising.

In this role, you will: 

• Lead the Legacy Engagement and Mid-value Squad to create top-tier fundraising programs.
• Develop and implement integrated plans, budgets, and forecasts for Legacy, In-memory, and mid-value fundraising to achieve long-term goals.
• Establish and maintain a clear vision to achieve the Squad's objectives over various time frames.
• Collaborate closely with the Loyalty Squad, Regional teams, and the Philanthropy team to execute the strategy.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Head of Fundraising & Communications who will join our senior leadership team and will have overall accountability for Trust’s fundraising, marketing and communications strategies.  

You will need to be a skilled and strategic leader with strong interpersonal and management skills and a proven track record in senior level fundraising. You will also have experience in communications and promoting the brand of an organisation.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this pivotal role will work closely with the wider senior management team (SMT) and inspire and lead the Trust’s fundraising, marketing and communications team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 This role’s primary responsibilities will be as follows:

Strategic Development and Implementation

 · Provide leadership, strategy and direction for the Trust’s fundraising, marketing and communications team comprising 15 in the UK and 3 in Nepal.

· Be part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), contributing to the Trust’s wider vision and strategic direction as well as provide updates and reports for the SMT and Trustees.

· As the organisational expert on fundraising, work closely with the Trust CEO and SMT to ensure that fundraising and marketing respond to and reflect the vision and agreed priorities of the Trust.

Fundraising

· Implement the Trust’s five-year fundraising strategy (income c.£14m pa), and be accountable for the delivery of operational plans, defining targets and identifying new sources of income.

· Develop and implement fundraising policies and procedures ensuring all fundraising remains safe and legal.

· Create a donor-centric culture within the Trust, implementing an accurate and robust system to deliver effective supporter journeys across all disciplines – individual giving, major donor, legacy, trust and corporate, and community fundraising.

· Keep abreast of current fundraising trends and standards as well as historic analysis of our own activities to optimise all fundraising approaches.

 Communications and Marketing

 · Lead the development of the Trust’s marketing and communications strategy and annual marketing programme, reviewing them to achieve the Trust’s aims and objectives.

· Develop and oversee the Trust’s social media strategy, both as a communication and a marketing tool.

· Oversee the Trust’s website, ensuring accessible content, a strong visitor experience and increasing donations via the site.

· Oversee the flow of project and general information between Nepal and the UK enabling effective proposals and reports.

Budgeting and Reporting

· Manage the annual fundraising, marketing and communications budgets.

· Work closely with the Head of Finance and the Finance team in Nepal to agree the details and split of unrestricted and restricted projects to be funded each year.

Leadership and Line Management

· Provide strategic direction to all areas of fundraising, marketing and communications, nurturing team members to develop their knowledge and expertise, and maintaining a passionate and engaged group of staff committed to delivering excellence for the Trust.

Beyond Equality is a UK not-for-profit organisation that works with men and boys to promote gender equality, inclusive communities, and healthier relationships. Founded by students from Oxford University, it focuses on gender equality, healthier relationships, and more positive masculinities.

We have worked across schools, universities, workplaces and with professional sports teams and have collectively reached over 100,000 boys and men. We combine expert facilitation with best practices from psychology, anthropology, philosophy, management and economics to deliver pragmatic, evidence-based training and workshops.

By starting vital conversations within schools about the state of gender inequality and masculinities, we hope to help boys become aware of the issues, but crucially, to make them part of the solution. Beyond Equality offers expert training and development for teachers, school staff, and parents and workshops for pupils. We work with all types of schools, at both primary and secondary, including mixed gender schools, all boys, state, grammar, independent and sixth forms.

In this critical role within the External Affairs Directorate, you will support the implementation of our new CRM system, ensuring seamless integration and data integrity across all College systems. The Disability Law Service (DLS) seeks an experienced, strategic charity leader who is passionate about Disabled people’s rights to join as our new part time Chief Executive Officer. You will lead a committed team of lawyers and advisers to ensure Disabled people can access those rights in full.
 
DLS is a pan-Disabled people’s organisation based in London, providing free legal advice, casework, and representation for Disabled people, their families, and carers. As a Deaf & Disabled People’s Organisation (DDPO), the majority of our Trustees and staff are Disabled people. We operate on the social model of disability, aiming to fight injustice and challenge the poverty and inequality faced by Disabled people, ensuring equal access to legal rights and entitlements.
 
We offer free specialist legal advice in areas such as community care, employment, housing, welfare benefits, discrimination, and public law. We connect Disabled individuals, their carers, and families with qualified solicitors and advisers, providing services including the MS Legal Advice Line, MS Welfare Benefits Advice, and Legal Aid Service. DLS also offers bespoke training on disability law and the Equality Act, empowering organisations to support their clients better.
 
Engaging in policy work, we also advocate for legal reforms, such as abolishing non-residential care charges and campaigning for equal care rights for autistic children. Annually, DLS assists around nearly 5,000 people, securing over £3 million in gains for our clients.
 
As our new CEO, you will lead us to grow our organisational capacity, as well as develop our policy influencing work, in order to maximise the impact we make for Disabled people nationally.

Due to their ongoing growth plans they are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their organisation. This role is responsible for supporting effective financial management and reporting for projects and budget holders based within the Academy’s Finance Team. You will spend the majority of your time interacting with programme managers and budget holders to support on budgeting, forecasting, analysis of budget variances and provide regular finance reports to them, including monthly management accounts to ensure financial control and effective decision making

Key areas of responsibility:

• Lead on the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process including preparing budget templates for completion by budget holders, summaries of submissions for review and scrutiny and reconciliations of departmental budget submissions from draft to final. 
• Work with Head of Finance to finalise the Academy budget for presenting to Director of Finance & Resources and the senior management team.
• Ensure that finalised forecasts and budgets are accurately imported into the accounting system and a full audit trail is maintained. 
• Assist the Head of Finance and senior management team with the preparation of multi-year forecasts and models for bids and scenario planning.
• Working closely with budget holders, act as finance business partner and critical friend by challenging assumptions and broadening their financial thinking in order to objectively assess risk and ensure consistency across teams with financial inter-dependencies.
• Providing adhoc advice to budget holders and programme managers on financial matters and contract agreements.
• Monitor expenditure on restricted funded projects to ensure compliance with terms of funding arrangements, manage grant claims and income and expenditure recognition, and discuss any over/under spending with budget holders and flag to Head of Finance as appropriate.
