As the Finance Director, you will manage the efficient and effective running of the finance department and lead on the strategic development of CSW’s multi-year financial planning providing responsive reporting and adaptive forecasting to the CEO, the SLT (of which you will be part) and the charity’s Board of Trustees. You will be an excellent financial professional, self-motivated and passionate about your work. You are proactive and willing to work well with others to achieve targets. You are inspired by CSW’s mission and eager to play your part, through this role, in ensuring freedom of religion and belief for all.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant financial qualification or be qualified by experience. You will have substantial experience at middle or senior financial management level in the commercial or not-for-profit sector, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire people when working in a team. You will possess strong strategic planning skills, and a good grasp of key charity accounting and database software; principally Sage Line 50, Raiser’s Edge, electronic/online banking, Microsoft Office, especially Excel at advanced level. You should have good knowledge of financial budgetary and accounting systems, as well as the ability to ensure operational excellence.

About the role
As our Head of Legacy and Mid-Value, you will lead the dedicated Legacy and Mid-Value Squad to set and deliver predominantly one-to-many direct marketing strategies that will allow us to unlock the great potential we have within our large and committed supporter-base for donors to give at a higher level either during their life-time and/or by leaving a legacy for children.

- Lead the Legacy Engagement and Mid-value Squad to create top-tier fundraising programs.

Are you a senior level fundraising professional seeking a new challenge? If so, we would like to hear from you.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Head of Fundraising & Communications who will join our senior leadership team and will have overall accountability for Trust’s fundraising, marketing and communications strategies.
You will need to be a skilled and strategic leader with strong interpersonal and management skills and a proven track record in senior level fundraising. You will also have experience in communications and promoting the brand of an organisation.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this pivotal role will work closely with the wider senior management team (SMT) and inspire and lead the Trust’s fundraising, marketing and communications team.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role’s primary responsibilities will be as follows:
Strategic Development and Implementation
· Provide leadership, strategy and direction for the Trust’s fundraising, marketing and communications team comprising 15 in the UK and 3 in Nepal.
· Be part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), contributing to the Trust’s wider vision and strategic direction as well as provide updates and reports for the SMT and Trustees.
· As the organisational expert on fundraising, work closely with the Trust CEO and SMT to ensure that fundraising and marketing respond to and reflect the vision and agreed priorities of the Trust.
Fundraising
· Implement the Trust’s five-year fundraising strategy (income c.£14m pa), and be accountable for the delivery of operational plans, defining targets and identifying new sources of income.
· Develop and implement fundraising policies and procedures ensuring all fundraising remains safe and legal.
· Create a donor-centric culture within the Trust, implementing an accurate and robust system to deliver effective supporter journeys across all disciplines – individual giving, major donor, legacy, trust and corporate, and community fundraising.
· Keep abreast of current fundraising trends and standards as well as historic analysis of our own activities to optimise all fundraising approaches.
Communications and Marketing
· Lead the development of the Trust’s marketing and communications strategy and annual marketing programme, reviewing them to achieve the Trust’s aims and objectives.
· Develop and oversee the Trust’s social media strategy, both as a communication and a marketing tool.
· Oversee the Trust’s website, ensuring accessible content, a strong visitor experience and increasing donations via the site.
· Oversee the flow of project and general information between Nepal and the UK enabling effective proposals and reports.
Budgeting and Reporting
· Manage the annual fundraising, marketing and communications budgets.
· Work closely with the Head of Finance and the Finance team in Nepal to agree the details and split of unrestricted and restricted projects to be funded each year.
Leadership and Line Management
· Provide strategic direction to all areas of fundraising, marketing and communications, nurturing team members to develop their knowledge and expertise, and maintaining a passionate and engaged group of staff committed to delivering excellence for the Trust.
·Coach, inspire and motivate direct reports and other members of the team as well as providing guidance and direction to deliver their objectives and develop their skills and expertise in their roles.

Beyond Equality is a UK not-for-profit organisation that works with men and boys to promote gender equality, inclusive communities, and healthier relationships. Founded by students from Oxford University, it focuses on gender equality, healthier relationships, and more positive masculinities.
We have worked across schools, universities, workplaces and with professional sports teams and have collectively reached over 100,000 boys and men. We combine expert facilitation with best practices from psychology, anthropology, philosophy, management and economics to deliver pragmatic, evidence-based training and workshops.
By starting vital conversations within schools about the state of gender inequality and masculinities, we hope to help boys become aware of the issues, but crucially, to make them part of the solution. Beyond Equality offers expert training and development for teachers, school staff, and parents and workshops for pupils. We work with all types of schools, at both primary and secondary, including mixed gender schools, all boys, state, grammar, independent and sixth forms.

Development
Onboarding/Training

Worcestershire Wildlife Trust has gone from strength to strength under the expert hand of our departing CEO, who is retiring after a long and distinguished career with us. About FitzRoy
At FitzRoy we believe people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health support needs should be able to live in their homes, independently, with a life filled with love and choices.
Our Hall Drive supported living service in Nottingham is a great example of how we support people in their community and keep them out of institutionalised care. Steven, one of the four residents, has autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy as well as a learning disability and tunnel vision. A wide mix of support needs is typical of most of the people we support across FitzRoy.

The majority of FitzRoy’s funding comes from statutory sources. Local authorities pay for the basic housing and support needs of the hundreds of people we support in supported living services, care homes, as well as in their own homes.
From a ground-breaking digital transformation programme, to assistive technology and home improvements and extensions, we rely on fundraising to transform our support, enabling us to provide the extras - that make a house a home, and a life well-lived and a person fulfilled.
FitzRoy was founded 60 years ago by two parents, Elizabeth Fitzroy and John Williams, who
pioneered a new way of caring for people with learning disabilities. At the time, most children and adults with learning disabilities lived a life of isolation, often ostracised from their communities and hidden away in institutions.
Our founders had an alternative vision – care in small, family style homes and where people with learning disabilities can flourish, living a life of independence and joy, and most importantly, the life they choose. Elizabeth Fitzroy and John Williams changed the face of social care to secure a future, not just for their children, but for generations to come.
Today, FitzRoy remains strongly rooted in the values and ethos of our founders. We are proud to support over 800 adults with a range of learning and physical disabilities and autism across more than 100 services in England. Through our registered care homes, supported living, support at home and day services, we are committed to breaking down barriers and raising the bar in standards of quality care for the people we support.
