As the audience insight manager at TCS, you will help us to put our audiences at the heart of everything we do. You will use your knowledge of our target audiences, the wider charity market and our brand to inform effective and creative decision-making on campaigns and activities.

You'll help us to optimise activity and innovate by bringing insight together from a range of sources (primary and secondary) to ensure we are always audience first and insight led. You'll be responsible for horizon scanning and trend analysis to ensure colleagues across social impact stay abreast of new developments in and outside the sector. And you'll oversee our brand tracking and audience testing and will be responsible for managing and delivering qualitative and quantitative research projects liaising with external agencies as well as internal stakeholders.

With previous experience in an insight, strategy or research role, you will be an expert at interrogating qualitative and quantitative information; able to pick out the most useful points and build a persuasive strategy through effective story telling. You're proactive and excel at building strong stakeholder relationships. And you're always looking for new and better ways of gathering insight.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

‘I AM Brent’ consortium

Step Up Hub leads a consortium, known as I AM Brent, that consists of six well-respected local charities who are working together to address the root causes and effects of violence affecting young people in the London Borough of Brent.

Programme Description

The programme is part of the Mayor of London’s flagship violence reduction programme, known as MyEnds. It is a place-based violence reduction initiative that adopts a public health approach. The consortium is providing an array of positive opportunities for young people and support for families, including through tailored interventions. The programme also aims to improve statutory and voluntary organisation networks and access to referral, and to ensure the voices of young people and community members are built into provision. The work is focused on the Church Road Estate, Stonebridge Estate, St Raphael’s Estate, Chalkhill Estate and Harlesden Town Centre areas.

The Role of the Programme Manager

The Programme Manager will act as the glue between consortium members and provide a key link with statutory bodies, voluntary organisations, and the community. The Programme Manager will be responsible for supporting consortium members with project deliverables where necessary, optimising the integration of provision, overseeing referrals, and brokering community partnerships. The Programme Manager will also schedule meetings and shared activities, provide secretarial support, and represent Step Up Hub and the consortium at relevant meetings.

In addition, the Programme Manager will:

· be responsible for line management of two other Step Up Hub staff members working on I AM Brent programme deliverables, a Network and Communication Lead and a Community Engagement Lead,

· manage, report on, monitor and evaluate the progress of interventions,

· report to VRU, attend VRU meetings, and cascade relevant information from the VRU to consortium members,

· be responsible for engaging stakeholders and community partners, identifying and leveraging their skills, expertise and assets, and leading on youth and community forums

· help engender an environment of trust and collaboration to support stakeholders and community partners engage positively with Step Up Hub and the consortium,

· manage a grant pot and support the delivery of small projects that are funded from it,

· work to actively promote the consortium and Step Up Hub’s activities, as per the organisational guidelines, through producing publicity materials and written reports for regular newsletters and by keeping the website updated,

· coordinate and monitor project budgets, working alongside the finance officer as required,

· ensure that safeguarding is central to the service delivery and is systemically built into case management processes,

· ensure equality of opportunity is embedded in all service delivery by Step Up Hub and consortium partners,

· provide secretarial services for the project steering group, progress meetings and small grants awarding panel.

This role is part of the Student Activities department working collectively with colleagues delivering the Guild’s student groups, societies, activities and volunteering work as part the Engagement Directorate.

The Student Groups Coordinator roles are to develop the capacity of the student groups within the Guild to enable students to maximise their potential. Salary and annual leave

Elrha is a global organisation dedicated to finding innovative solutions to complex humanitarian challenges through cutting-edge research and innovation. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Management Accountant to join our dynamic Grant Operations and Finance (GOF) team.  

About the Role:  
You’ll play a key role in supporting our work by ensuring smooth, high quality financial management and reporting. Working closely with the Head of GOF, you'll contribute to the success of our programmes by overseeing financial activities, audits and the improvement of financial processes.  
This is a role where you can make a meaningful impact, not only within our organisation but on the global humanitarian landscape. You'll have the chance to work on important projects that directly support our humanitarian aims while developing your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.  

What you’ll do:  

• Lead on key financial activities, including management accounting, financial reporting, and grant audits.  
• Support the operational aspects of grant management by ensuring effective financial planning and monitoring.  
• Improve and streamline financial processes for greater efficiency.  
• Manage complex funding arrangements, including grants from institutional donors, and ensure compliance with financial and donor requirements.  
• Collaborate with teams across the organisation, using your financial insights to support decision-making.

What we're looking for:

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, especially those with a genuine passion for humanitarian work. We’d love to hear from you if you:  

• Are a qualified (or part-qualified) Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA or equivalent) with proven management accounting experience, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.  
• Have experience managing budgets and financial information, especially in environments with complex funding.  
• Are familiar with the financial management of grants from institutional donors, ideally within international aid or humanitarian settings.  
• Understand risk management and audit processes.  
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both with financial and non-financial colleagues.  
• Are skilled in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.  
• Have a personal or professional interest in humanitarian or development sectors, demonstrated through academic studies, volunteering, or work experience.  

Additional knowledge in grantee financial management, IATI standards, and accounting principles for charities would be a bonus, but not essential.

You will join Latymer at an exciting time, following a successful £50m fundraising campaign to increase our bursary provision to 1 in 4 of our students, the launch of our new Middle School curriculum which places Latymer at the forefront of educational reform in the UK, the celebrations for the Latymer Foundation’s 400th anniversary and the expansion of our community partnerships which impact 3,000 young people in our local area each year.

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Latymer Foundation, you will evaluate and analyse data in order to assess Latymer’s social impact, including its bursary programme and partnership initiatives. With insights from this data, you will help inform next steps and strategy, working with key department leads across the School. The Latymer Foundation is a registered charity.

Salary: Up to £48k depending on experience.

Hours: This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours a week.

They fulfil this mission by constructing hundreds of essential new homes and offering care and supported housing services to a diverse range of people. They are now seeking a dedicated Service Manager for their well-respected homeless night shelter in St Albans.

Our client’s homeless shelter provides emergency accommodation for up to 12 single homeless people in St Albans each night.; their dedicated staff team offer a trauma-informed, safe environment which is person-centred and supports beneficiaries to access the help they need. As Service Manager, you’ll support your team and be responsible for overseeing support, advice and assistance to beneficiaries who are/have been living on the streets so that they are able to access and maintain a safe and secure home of their own.

You will also have demonstrable line management experience, and a knowledge of relevant legislation in relation to homelessness, housing and the equalities act.
