Based at the fantastic Brigade Bar + Kitchen by London Bridge, Beyond Food harnesses the power of food to inspire and equip people facing chronic unemployment with the power to change their lives.
Our flagship training programme, FreshLife, is a comprehensive three-week emotional support and practical hospitality training. Beneficiaries are taken on a journey in a safe, welcoming and empathetic environment – most of our staff have lived experience of the common issues they face – and are taught to master chef skills: they’ll bake bread, fry mackerel, create risotto and pancetta Bolognese dishes.
After completing the three-week training programme, with work experience at Brigade Bar + Kitchen, they are guaranteed employment at several high-end restaurants and hospitality partners in London. If they relapse, whether they start using again or even find themselves in prison, we don’t give up on them. They will be supported while they find their feet again and re-enter the training programme when ready.
These skills enable those excluded from work to become and remain employable. We keep in touch with our Alumni and will support them as they continue their journeys towards long-term, fulfilling employment and happier, healthier lives.
About the role.
This role will support our Partnerships and Fundraising Manager to drive our fundraising efforts with a clear focus on individual giving. Responsibilities include cultivating and advancing relationships that secure income generation, particularly through major donors, high net worth (HNW) individuals, PAYE giving, and individual income generation through events and associated campaigns that drive donations.

About the role:
This hybrid role is based in Shoreham by Sea, which includes a combination of home and office-based working as well as regularly meeting with clients across Sussex at safe locations of their choosing and attending meetings as required.
As an IDVA you will:
- Support the empowerment of survivors, assiting them to recognising the features & dynamics of domestic abuse
- Hold a caseload of varying complexity, prioritising high risk cases & providing a pro-active, short to medium term crisis intervention service
- Conduct comprehensive needs & risk assessments to provide individual support plans
- Participate in the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC)
- Use a person-centred, survivor-focused approach, being mindful of the effects of trauma and additional barriers to access that individuals may experience
- Work in partnership with internal & external stekholders to ensure that needs are met effectively
- Assist in delivering training, and provide consultancy and advice to other agencies as required

We are looking for an Airdesk Operations Coordinator as we expand our Airdesk Team at The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA). This exciting role is essential to TCAA, being the first point of contact when our specialist NHS teams task our helicopters!
Reporting to the Airdesk Team Leader, you will primarily be based at Coventry Airport, with occasional travel to other operational sites. This is a full time role (average of 40 hours per week) with the service operating 7 days a week, 365 days per year, working on a rota covering up until 2am. The Airdesk Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the effective tasking and dispatching of our aircraft when a request for service is received. The Airdesk Operations Coordinator will be the first point of contact for our NHS Clinical Partner Teams and responsible for managing all aspects of a mission from initial request through to mission completion, making the abilities of being able to work under pressure and multitasking essential requirements of the role. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme at HMP Belmarsh, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Teaching qualification Level 2 or above is required for this role. Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
This role will be prison-based. About the role:
This role is based in our Islington office with the flexibility of hybrid working. As a Children & Young People's Caseworker, you will:

About the role:
This role is home-based and requires regular travel within the Cumberland area, due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. As a caseworker, you will:
Effectively manage a caseload of self-referrals or referred service users, delivering excellent services which support the commissioners and their service goals to victims.
Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions
Undertake risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of the client in line with VS operating procedures. To follow relevant safeguarding policies and procedures, working with safeguarding leads and other agencies to ensure an integrated approach to address any safeguarding concerns.
Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice this could include criminal, legal and if relevant, civil remedies to service users.
You will need:
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or families
- Understanding and knowledge of an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities, inclusion and diversity
- Ability to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner
- Understanding of confidentiality and safe working practices, in accordance with safeguarding and data protection legislation
- Ability to needs assess, risk assess and empathise with the victim
- Good IT and administrative skills including the use of Microsoft Office packages
- High resilience and the ability to work under pressure

The Democracy Development Coordinator will work within the Community Engagement department to develop KCLSU's democratic practices, policy and procedures.
Areas of work will include:
- Project manage the delivery of KCLSU Elections (electing Student Officers and Community Leaders)
- Lead on and support the development of KCLSU democratic structures, systems and procedures
- Work with and support KCLSU Community Leaders
- Working with other staff across KCLSU to ensure that suitable support is given to students who want to engage with democracy
- Supervise student staff and volunteers where required.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking candidates with excellent communication skills and great project management experience. You will work to develop compelling written applications for asks and build a network and pipeline. Previous Fundraising experience is not essential for this role however would be an advantage. You will be able to confidently engage with a range of stakeholders, including senior staff and trustees. Your personable approach will allow you form effective working relationships and motivate colleagues across the organisation. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with fundraising CRM systems e.g., Donorfy would also be an advantage although again, not essential. You will be able to prepare and maintain detailed reports on projects, including key performance indicators, income and expenditure budgets.
