The Role:
As a Product Lead, you will support the Product Manager in the continuous improvement and management of the portfolio, from design and development through to ongoing monitoring and review.

Key areas

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reports to: Head of Support and Care (Registered Manager)
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, usually Monday - Friday 9 - 5pm
NB Service Coordinators are required to balance management administration with being present in the group's houses. This necessitates some occasional evening and weekend work to be agreed with their line manager.

Main purpose of the role:
- To lead and manage the Oak Group, one of three groups in the L'Arche London community, comprising of a range of services for people with learning disabilities and its team of assistants.
- To lead the service delivery within this group in line with L'Arche values, standards and the requirements of the Care Quality Commission [CQC].
- To play an active role in the leadership of L'Arche London, helping shape a vibrant community of people with and without learning disabilities.
Leadership and People Management:
- Supervise and work with the Deputy Service Coordinator to lead a team of 15 Support Assistants. Ensure each assistant in the group is regularly supervised, trained, and appraised, and that action is taken to effectively manage performance issues.
- Understand the requirements of the CQC and other relevant legislation and ensure that all applicable standards are met including adult safeguarding.
- As part of the Community Coordinating Team, implement appropriate policies and procedures, promoting the wider L'Arche mission, vision and values.

- Ensure the provision of high quality personalised support for each person with a learning disability in the Oak group, implementing Person Centred Support Plans to maximise independence, personal choice, and autonomy.
- Enable each person with learning disabilities to feel at home, encouraging both individuality and belonging, ensuring that everyone is informed of their rights and responsibilities as a member of the Community group and as a tenant.
- Support each person to manage various aspects of their life, from their personal budgets to their health and well-being.

Administration and Management
- Maintain high standards of communication and record keeping, ensuring an effective flow of information within the Group, with the rest of L'Arche London, the local community, family and professionals.

Creating Community
- Attend and organise Community events and celebrations relevant to the role and foster a sense of welcome for all visitors and friends; ensure a regular rhythm of prayer and reflection in accordance with the traditions of L’Arche.

What We Offer
This post is offered subject to a probationary period of 6 months; 3 clear references; a completed work history form; a satisfactory and up-to-date enhanced DBS check; and a satisfactory right to work check as appointees must have the right to work in the UK.
There is no additional pay for overtime, but Time off in lieu (TOIL) will be given and agreed with the line manager when circumstances require the post-holder to work extra hours. TOIL should be taken within 2 weeks of being accrued.
All Service Coordinators are the on-call rota for 1 week every 6 - 8 weeks. There is an additional payment of £56 a week for being on-call.
Paid holiday allowance of 33 days leave per year. (This total is inclusive of 8 days in lieu of bank holidays).
Service Coordinators will be provided with a programme of personal development and training including opportunities to study for QCF qualifications in social care and leadership development through L'Arche in the UK's leadership development programme.

We are looking for an Airdesk Operations Coordinator as we expand our Airdesk Team at The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA). This exciting role is essential to TCAA, being the first point of contact when our specialist NHS teams task our helicopters!

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led literacy and numeracy programmes across a number of prisons. We now have the opportunity to provide a service at HMP Belmarsh (subject to contract award). Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme at HMP Belmarsh, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Teaching qualification Level 2 or above is required for this role. Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
This role will be prison-based. Senior Conservation Technician, Paper and Photographs

This is an exciting opportunity to bring technical expertise to the Paper and Photograph Conservation team!
There are two vacant full-time roles in the Paper and Photograph Conservation studios at Tate Britain. One is permanent with a focus on large-scale touring exhibitions, with start date in October 2024. The other is a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027 and focuses on modern and contemporary art.
The Senior Conservation Technician provides technical expertise on the mounting, framing, storage and packing of art on paper, photographs, library, and archive material. Day to day you will undertake a variety of traditional and modern mounting, framing, and housing techniques, devise display, installation and packing methods, and advise and train paper conservation technicians. You’ll work closely with a paper conservator and the wider team to review and document your work to ensure the highest standards in the care of Tate’s paper-based collections. You’ll enjoy this role if you like creative problem solving, developing and adapting your technical skills, working to deadlines and knowledge sharing.

The Democracy Development Coordinator will work within the Community Engagement department to develop KCLSU's democratic practices, policy and procedures.
Areas of work will include:
- Project manage the delivery of KCLSU Elections (electing Student Officers and Community Leaders)
- Lead on and support the development of KCLSU democratic structures, systems and procedures
- Work with and support KCLSU Community Leaders
- Working with other staff across KCLSU to ensure that suitable support is given to students who want to engage with democracy
- Supervise student staff and volunteers where required.

Who are we looking for?

You will work to develop compelling written applications for asks and build a network and pipeline. Previous Fundraising experience is not essential for this role however would be an advantage. You will be able to confidently engage with a range of stakeholders, including senior staff and trustees. Your personable approach will allow you form effective working relationships and motivate colleagues across the organisation. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with fundraising CRM systems e.g., Donorfy would also be an advantage although again, not essential. You will be able to prepare and maintain detailed reports on projects, including key performance indicators, income and expenditure budgets. We are seeking passionate candidates who are looking to develop their career in the charity sector and who share a passion for social welfare and community development.

Key responsibilities
Community Fundraising

Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to increase income through regular giving, donations, campaigns, legacy giving, corporate partnerships, and other fundraising initiatives.

Promote participation in major sporting and challenge events.

Provide supporters with the necessary materials and motivation to maximize their fundraising efforts for the CGD Society.

Send personal thank you letters and certificates to acknowledge donations and fundraising efforts promptly.

Address fundraising inquiries.

Maintain regular communication with key fundraisers and stakeholders.

Attend events to support participants when appropriate.
Corporate Sponsorship and Partnerships

Establish and cultivate relationships with companies to secure sponsorships for various projects, fundraising events, and other funding opportunities.

Form alliances within the charity sector to achieve shared fundraising objectives and create more appealing sponsorship proposals.
Grant fundraising

If funding permits a three-day working week, with training and development, prepare and submit persuasive funding applications to Charitable Trusts and Foundations to boost our core income.

Develop with the Exec Director a rolling strategy for such applications, building relationships with funders and defining compelling funding targets.
Digital Marketing

Lead the development and execution of social media content to increase awareness and income, utilizing optimal methods to reach target audiences and drive engagement.

Serve as a "brand guardian," ensuring consistent, cohesive, and well-thought-out messaging, tone, and appearance across all internal and external communications.

Source and maintain a repository of up-to-date case studies, photos, and videos on life with CGD, transforming these into media-ready stories for social media, newsletters, the website, and reports.

Create and distribute regular newsletters using Mailchimp and other communication tools for members.

Manage the CGD Society website (WordPress), ensuring it is regularly updated and engaging for our beneficiaries, collaborating with external suppliers as needed.
Support for Executive Director

Provide monthly reports to the Executive Director detailing donations, fundraising activities, and marketing KPIs.

Person specification
Must have skills

Experience working within a fundraising or digital marketing environment demonstrating a track record of maintaining and growing income for supporters and/or organisations.

Excellent supporter care experience knowing what is necessary to deliver a high-quality service to supporters and/or fundraisers.

Expert knowledge, experience, and confidence in developing and delivering creative and engaging social media content across a wide variety of channels.

Ability to create engaging graphic content using Adobe/Canva software.

Demonstrate empathy, active listening and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Copywriting – To have good written English with a flair for creative writing. You should be able to demonstrate examples of copywriting engaging, original and persuasive content.
