Location: Mentmore Terrace, London Fields. NCB promotes a hybrid, flexible way of working, staff can work remotely for part of the week if they wish and, in the office, or face to face for at least 2 days per week.

Salary: £24,721 (Band 2) with generous benefits package including 3 years of salary increments (increases), 30 days annual leave plus Bank holidays and 3 days of Christmas closure
The post holder will be the first point of contact for a busy team, supporting effective delivery of key participation projects that puts children and young people’s voices at the heart of government. This is primarily an administration post with some opportunity to develop engagement skills. This is a varied role that requires significant attention to detail, the ability to move between tasks at rapid pace, and skill to make complex information accessible for a range of stakeholders. The majority of the post holder’s duties will support the Making Participation Work programme, experience of working with disabled children and young people and those with special educational needs would be an advantage.
This role provides the opportunity to work closely with children and young people, colleagues and external partners. You will also be responsible for managing children and young people’s data and information, creating newsletters and social media content. Being proactive, efficient and organised is critical for this role, you must be able to co-ordinate logistics and analyse large amounts of data. You will be an integral part of a fast-paced team with a strong national profile and reputation for expertise and excellence in delivery.
This role includes out of hours working, agreed in advance.

Role Outline
This new role for Citizens Advice Bucks provides a great opportunity for someone to join our supportive fundraising team at an exciting time when we look to expand the way in which we engage our local community and fundraise. The role will work with colleagues across the charity including our Communications team. will play a key role in raising awareness of Citizens Advice Bucks in the County, engaging with existing and new supporters/partners through a variety of community and fundraising events.

Liverpool SHS is a mental health, 12 hour supported housing and community based service, working to a recovery model. This innovative project is led by young people who are affected by drug or alcohol use, they learn how to grow their own food, cook healthy meals, make new friends and have the chance to work towards qualifications. Your challenge? To provide brief and long-term interventions which will incorporate outdoor spaces and activities that promote healthy lifestyles and reduce substance misuse. You will also develop care plans, provide case management, ensure integrated pathways and support the development of family intervention within the wider team. You will also allocate and oversee the work of peer mentors and volunteers as required.
An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community care (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. As well as good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health related issues, you're used to liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and comfortable engaging with clients in a variety of service delivery settings. What’s more, you have a flexible approach, a commitment to the principles of confidentiality and the ability to write client records and report and fulfil data requirements.

Right now, we’re looking for someone like you to join our NGAGE Young People’s Service in Northampton. NGAGE is an early intervention drug and alcohol service for young people aged 10-18 and we provide information, education, advice and support to young people in relation to drug and alcohol use.
Your challenge? To provide advice, assessments, brief and structured interventions and group programmes. As a Practitioner, you will be the initial contact for referrals into the service, conducting assessments via telephone, face to face and offering relevant and appropriate advice, harm minimisation, family interventions risk assessment and management, actioning onward referrals to partner agencies. You will also be required to manage a caseload.
An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. As a CYP Group Facilitator, you will provide online group interventions to deliver this new and exciting, high quality service in accordance with contractual requirements, and ensure that we are supporting the needs and aspirations of Hertfordshire families.
About the Service
Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) delivers Hertfordshire’s CAMHS Early Help Digital Intervention Service, With YOUth. The CYP Group Facilitator will be responsible for implementing and delivering the group support aspect of an innovative partnership between BfB Labs and HMN.
Together, we will provide a countywide early help digital intervention service that is accessible to children and young people and their families, aged 5-18, at the earliest point of an emerging emotional wellbeing and/or mental health need. The service will operate between 14:00 – 22:00 seven days a week.
About the Role
Our trauma-informed model offers a range of support options for CYP, based around digital interventions and supported by one-to-one and group sessions, so children and young people can engage in the way that works best for them. The service will build resilience in CYP by working with them to develop coping strategies and solutions that will enable them to improve their own health and wellbeing. We will also provide advice and guidance to parents/families/carers and professionals to provide a holistic response to supporting CYP and creating a network around them to empower and enable positive change.
The objectives of the With YOUth Digital Intervention Service are to:
- Promote resilience and strategies that encourage coping and self-management for CYP, enabling a reduction in referrals to more specialist provision.
- Increase the number of CYP who access evidence-based mental health interventions.
- Ensure more CYP in Hertfordshire have improved awareness and knowledge about emotional wellbeing and mental health.
- Develop an early intervention pathway for children and young people to enable individuals to get timely, responsive support aligned to their needs.
- Reduce waiting times for CYP MHS by providing a timely and effective early help service.
- Help parents and carers to better support their CYP through access to relevant, clear and accessible information about mental health and emotional wellbeing.
- Provide a safe and secure online environment for CYP.
- Reduce the number of CYP experiencing a relapse in their mental health.
- Contribute to the de-stigmatisation of mental health and emotional wellbeing.
