Main Job Purpose: Administrative support to FoNS team, CEO and Board of Trustees

Responsible and professionally accountable to: Programme Manager

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week (either full days or flexible hours)

Terms of Employment: Substantive. 3 months’ probation period. Hybrid working with a requirement to attend the office in central London at least 3 day per week.

1. Office Management

• ​Build and maintain good rapport with internal and external colleagues. 
• Balance the urgent and important work that needs to be achieved.
• Assist with the management of the physical office space, equipment management, liaison with our landlord and attends of the quarterly Health and Safety committee.
• Assist with the administrational needs and priorities of FoNS and supports the team, CEO, Chair and trustees.
• Provide a point of contact with HR company and ability to manage a HR dashboard.
• To liaise with our IT providers to help troubleshoot IT issues.
• Adhere to data protection and GDPR standards.

       2. CEO Administration Support

Supporting the Chair and CEO with specific administration duties including the following: -

• Assist the CEO with the Company Secretary role and requirements.
• Aid the CEO and Chair with internal and external communications.
• Diary management for CEO and the Chair.
• Organise meetings for FoNS staff and board.
• Minute taking for Board and other meetings

     3.Programme Support 

• To provide social media and communications support where needed
• To be part of the Resilience-based Clinical Supervision programme team.
• Support the team to plan and organise events, taking an active role in event preperation.
• Support FoNS team with general administration as required.

SV 2has been supporting victims and survivors of sexual abuse since 1994, and today provides a range of services to anyone in Derbyshire and Derby City who has experienced sexual abuse, assault or violence, including their friends and family members. We support people irrespective of age, gender or when the abuse occurred.

We're looking for a highly motivated ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to work across Derbyshire. The role will support people aged 18 and over who have experienced sexual abuse or rape at any point. The successful candidate with join our friendly, professional and passionate team, working across Derbyshire remotely and in person.

· At least one year’s experience in managing complex client cases

· Experience of building relationships with partner services and other professionals

About the role

Alongside the Service Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service.  You will support the Service Manager to manage and ensure the delivery of the service’s key quality and safety priorities by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the residential activity/service. You will also have delegated responsibility for the direct supervision and line management of a team of support workers. As a senior member of the team, you will promote and lead good practice at all times, doing all you can to make sure that the people we support and their colleagues come to no harm and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive by acting as an exemplary role model.

As a Deputy Service Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service.  You will be required to do on-call shifts during out of office hours. You will be expected to work 20% of your total weekly hours on shift across your assigned services and will be able to role model all aspects of a support worker role duties and responsibilities. Following your time on shift, and in general practice at all other times, you will have responsibility for reporting back to the Service Manager and for maintaining a continual dialogue loop of feedback that focuses on quality, and continuous improvement and learning and ensuring the smooth operation of the allocated group of services.

A full UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle, is essential for the role.

About you

• You will have significant, recent experience at a front-line management level in field of learning disabilities in regulated services which may have included being a Registered Manager

• You will have knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, CQC regulations and Health and Safety issues.

• You need good IT skills and experience of maintaining records to be a success in this role.

• You need to hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or hold a level 3 diploma and be willing to undertake this level 5 apprenticeship qualification within an agreed reasonable timescale of 18 months as part of a development plan

• You will have the ability to lead and manage people and be a role model in all aspects of people leadership especially performance

We are looking for someone with good administrative skills to join our small and friendly Services Delivery Team. You will provide admin support across the organisation and be responsible for setting up family support courses, both locally and online. Along with a colleague, the role has first line responsibility for Check-In Check-Out, our safeguarding procedure for staff and volunteers, including monitoring, recording outcomes, chasing non-compliance and producing a range of reports. You will have extensive administrative experience and have completed a range of admin tasks. Good communications skills, both verbal and written as well as good IT skills are essential. You will be able to type at a minimum of 40 words per minute, without errors.

Ideally the successful individual will be located within 1.5 hours travelling distance of Hatfield, Hertfordshire as our head office is based in that location and you would be required to go in from time to time. As this is a home-based role you are required to have a suitable quiet and confidential space in which to work, along with a good broadband connection.

Tall Ships Youth Trust (TSYT) is a youth development outdoor learning charity which has been improving the skills and life chances of disadvantaged young people since 1956.

We envision a world where all young people strive to create better outcomes for themselves and for their communities. To do this, out on the ocean we empower young people to realise their true potential, supporting them on their journey to adulthood and for some, into volunteering and careers in the maritime sector and the blue economy.

Utilising our fleet of four 72ft Challenger yachts and a 55ft ketch, we were able to support more than 1,200 young people last year. 80% were from disadvantaged backgrounds; 40% were female; and 25% identified as belonging to the global majority. Our aim is to significantly increase the numbers we support over the next few years.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Trusts & Grants fundraiser to join our small, hardworking team.

The role holder will contribute towards achieving our ambitious yearly income target by helping to maintain our well-established Trusts & Grants portfolio, as well as identifying new funding opportunities as we seek to grow and diversify this income stream.

Responsibilities will include developing and submitting winning funding proposals, reporting on funds spent, and excellent stewardship. The role will form part of the Fundraising, Digital and Marketing team, and will sit alongside our current Trusts & Grants fundraiser, supported by the Head of Fundraising and Marketing.

About the Team 

The Supporter Helpdesk is made up of four people, a Team Leader and three Officers. We are based in Sheffield along with Shelter’s national housing advice helpline. While the team doesn’t provide housing advice we respond to a wide variety of enquiries about Shelter and its work including sign posting to our service where needed. 

About the role 

The role will involve you being the first point of contact for the organisation, supporters, potential supporters and people seeking information about Shelter’s work. You will provide information on our work and housing/homelessness to supporters and members of the public, act on supporter requests and take part in fundraising administration.  You will also maintain accurate supporter records, liaising with other departments when necessary and handle any complaints about services and fundraising activity. 

About you 

With excellent communication and administration skills, gained working in a customer service environment, you will have experience of analysing statistics and spotting trends and the ability to assess database requirements. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, email and the internet and a strong attention to detail and accuracy are also required. An understanding of how the Helpdesk service impacts on the Shelter brand will also be important.

Hours: Part-time 21.75 hours per week worked over three days, between the hours of 8am–6pm

Working pattern: Work from home with frequent travel required. You will be expected to deliver a face-to-face service to clients in their own home or safe meeting place within the London area.

Your role will require you to travel to locations such as hospitals and care homes across the area to meet with clients and professionals and be home based for administration; therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential. 

About you
