The Role

As our Centre Manager, you'll be the backbone of our daily operations, while ensuring our Twickenham centre runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll play a crucial role in supporting our staff, therapists, and volunteers, while also providing a welcoming environment for the families we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

·Oversee day-to-day centre operations, including opening/closing procedures and security and ensuring the facility runs smoothly and facilities are well maintained. 

·Manage the Centre Coordinator 

·Coordinate centre scheduling, including therapist sessions and other meetings

·Provide administrative support to the CEO and handle enquiries

·Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and charity policies

·Maintain personnel records & IT access

·Oversee the client record keeping system and support staff users

We are looking to strengthen our trusts and foundations team by recruiting a Charitable Funding Manager (CFM) to maximise philanthropic funding across the University. About the role:

You will be Supporting and managing existing volunteers in Kent and Medway
Recruit new volunteers from the various communities in Kent and Medway to build a volunteer team that better reflects the communities we wish to serve

On a daily basis you will need to be in contact with Volunteers, the local Senior Management Team, local Team Leaders, Caseworkers, the Hate Crime Advocate and Stalking Advocates

About the Role

Deliver an excellent catering service

• Working to TH EHO guidelines and SFBB, ensure food is prepared and work is carried out by us and to the standard of Tower Hamlets Food Standards including: risk assessment, food safety, equipment maintenance, cleaning, disposal of catering waste and liaising with Tower Hamlets Environmental Health where necessary.
• Maximise recycling of waste wherever possible.
• Responsible for the ordering and delivery of food and consumables.

• Liaise with the Employability Coordinator to provide an effective training to trainees involved in the lunch service.
• Provide clear, honest feedback to trainees about their conduct and performance, liaising with specialist workers around support needs.
• Identify further specific training needs for trainees and support them to achieve their goals.
• Ensure there is a rota in place which provides a variety of tasks and experiences for trainees.

Manage people and participants

• Work with the Volunteering Development Manager to induct, retain and manage the team of volunteers to support the production of food at Providence Row.

• Work with the Fundraising Team to engage groups of Corporate Volunteers in Corporate Challenges within the kitchen setting 2 times per week.

Participate in planning, monitoring and evaluation, and other responsibilities

• Participate in the charity’s planning processes to support the delivery of Providence Row’s 5 year strategy.  This includes in particular all catering based activities in the charity. 
• Participate in the creation and implementation of monitoring and evaluation processes for all cooking activities, complying with funding requirements.

JOB TITLE: Retail Shop Manager

DEPARTMENT: Retail

REPORTING TO: Area Manager

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week

SALARY: £25,000

Overall purpose of the role:

To be responsible, with help and support from the Area Manager, for the day to day operation of a designated shop including recruiting and managing the team, ensuring that sales and profit targets are achieved, and full compliance with all policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure that the shop has appropriately skilled, trained and motivated staff and volunteers engaged to maximise the shops profitability and comply with all regulations and NWAA standards.

• Provide the Area Manager with the necessary information relating to the employment of staff in the shop so that all necessary legislative and NWAA HR requirements are met, including accurate payment of staff and that up to date and accurate records of absences and any staff changes are maintained.

• Monitor the shops performance, utilising all management information available including EPOS data, awareness of local competition, retail trends and local activity.

• Work with the Area Manager to improve the performance of the shop, including ensuring high standards of cleanliness and merchandising, as well as effective space allocation.

• Ensure that the shop is open for trading and fully staffed and operational in line with published opening hours, escalating any potential issues to the Area Manager without delay.

• Manage expenditure as agreed with the Area Manager to ensure that running costs for the shop is within the agreed budgets.

• Ensure that the shop maximises income from Gift Aid, and that the process is compliant and in line with regulations.

• Liaise with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that the shops requirements for volunteers are met.

• Ensure that stock is appropriately priced, rotated and fit for display and that all merchandise is clearly ticketed and priced in line with our retail operations manual.

• Support the wider management team to effectively engage our supporters and communicate with donors to ensure shops have sufficient appropriate stock.

• Maintain full compliance with all health and safety requirements to assure the safety of all staff, volunteers, customers and visitors.

• Ensure that all staff and volunteers deliver exemplary service to customers, by role modelling and training staff to do so.

• Take full responsibility for the shop’s accounting procedures including cash reconciliation, daily banking and till procedures to ensure that transactions are correct and cash handling procedures are adhered to at all times in line with the Retail Operations Manual reporting any significant shortfalls to the Area Manager immediately.

• Ensure full compliance with the relevant procedures for the inventory, security and maintenance of all equipment and fittings on the shop’s premises.

• Ensure stock collections and deliveries are managed smoothly and that in bound stock is stored and sorted in line with the Retail Operations Manual.

• Provide the shop’s team with effective communication of key messages and directions from the Area Manager and the wider retail team.

• Implement NWAA fundraising promotions in the shop as directed by the Area Manager.

• Attend events and meetings around the North West that are relevant to the Shop Manager role.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Programme Manager to join our Delivery Team.  This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, enthusiastic and confident individual to join us.  The role has responsibility for managing service delivery with engaging work related learning content for secondary school pupils

This is an integral role within our team with a focus on delivering our work related learning programmes for secondary schools across East and North London. All delivery is aimed towards enabling young people to learn about the world of work and the opportunities available to them.  You will work closely with schools, employers and business volunteers to deliver fun, engaging and labour market-relevant careers related activities and workshops to partner schools across London boroughs. You will have the chance to be creative through planning, delivering and evaluating the programme to ensure that services are current and meet the needs of relevant stakeholders. 

As a member of the Delivery Team, the Programme Manager may also manage and support the delivery of wider services across other teams within the charity where required.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Managing development, delivery and coordination of work related learning and programme delivery in schools to a range of young people including, at times, those with additional needs.
• Managing creation and delivery of bespoke programmes commissioned by corporate partners.
• Evaluating and refreshing service delivery including development of new programmes.
• Working alongside other members of the team to ensure effective recruitment, training and retention of volunteers.
• Managing staff within the delivery team.
• Development and delivery of training to those participating in delivery of programmes.

As Fundraising Manager, your role will focus on developing relationships and generating income from charitable trusts, statutory sources, individuals, schools and parishes. 

This is a diverse and rewarding role where you can work closely with our project teams and see the direct impact of your efforts. The fundraising team is also actively involved in service delivery and this role will be instrumental in helping to distribute gifts and food to hundreds of disadvantaged families at Christmas, as well as helping families in crisis via our Crisis Funds. 

You will also help to shape the department’s overall fundraising strategy and play an important role in ensuring that many more disadvantaged children and families can access the support they need and have hope of a better future. 

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with fundraising experience who is keen to use their skills to help CCS grow our income. A proactive and flexible approach is also a must! The successful candidate will:

• Have at least two years’ experience or working as a charity fundraiser and a proven track record of securing significant levels of income.
• Be an effective communicator
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues and supporters.

The National Tremor Foundation (NTF) is a charity who aim to provide help, support and advice to all those living with all forms of neurological tremor irrespective of age. Our mission is to provide advice, support, publish information and promote research on neurological tremors.

We are seeking a full time, self-employed, dynamic, self-motivated General Manager to lead the NTF on behalf of the Board of Trustees in return for an attractive salary of £35,000 per annum. Digital Accessibility

Age UK Richmond upon Thames is a local independent charity supporting older people across the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. We provide a wide range of useful and well utilised services designed to improve wellbeing and enhance independence – including information & advice; a wide range of social & wellbeing centres and sessions; support after hospital discharge; digital skills development; Dementia Friendly Richmond and home services such as handyperson, housekeeping and gardening. This important role within the organisation will include advertising & promoting volunteer vacancies; ensuring the organisation provide excellent support to our volunteers and developing volunteering within the organisation.

We are looking for an individual with excellent administration, IT and communication skills with a real will to work with older people and volunteers. Experience of working with volunteers and developing volunteering would be highly desirable.
