Overview
The Green Team was founded in 1995 to support young people to succeed in achieving the Duke of Edinburgh award. Since then, the team has grown significantly and now offers nine programmes along with corporate volunteering days and holiday activities. From one member of staff and a few volunteers, we now have 10 staff and over 50 volunteers.
The growth of the team since 1995 has been primarily driven by our current CEO, Penny Radway. The size of the organisation and number of programmes run mean that we believe the time is right to introduce a dual CEO approach. Penny will focus on CEO responsibilities for delivering our programmes.
The role
To co-lead the charity promoting the mission, aims, values and objectives, be directly responsible for specific agreed areas of the charity’s corporate operations while overseeing and ensuring the success of these operations. To increase income generation, specifically unrestricted funds, enhance existing financial controls, and impact reporting. To also ensure there are clear and impactful communications, partnerships and marketing approaches for the development of the Green Team.
Work in partnership with the Co-CEO Programmes to advise the Trustees on the strategic direction of the organisation and to implement Board decisions. To ensure the sustainability of the Green Team, with a focus on increasing unrestricted funds to achieve longevity of the organisation.

Terrence Higgins Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Health Promotion Specialist to join their team working as part of the Essex Sexual Health Service.
The post holder will support in the design and delivery of effective health promotion (HP) and behaviour change communication (BCC) interventions appropriate to the needs of Young People and other groups at increased risk of poor sexual health outcomes. Main Responsibilities

Unfold is led by the people we serve, and we get people where they want to be. We’re a bold, agile and growing organization, with a friendly, energetic and welcoming team. As an established local charity, we’re powered by volunteers who support young people and families to identify and achieve goals that matter to them. We provide mentoring and peer support groups to people in Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea and the neighbouring boroughs.
We’re open to everyone, but we target those who face the most challenges: 93% of the people we work with describe themselves as coming from a racialized group, 85% of the families we support are single-parent households headed by a woman, and 75% of the children we support are eligible for free school meals. We also run specialized programmes of support for people seeking asylum and those with refugee status. Last year we provided one-to-one mentoring to over 246 people, and group support to a further 252 people. With increasing demand for our services, we expect to provide direct support to over 350 individuals in the coming year.
In our programme of support for parents, we have two primary programmes, a ‘Mentoring for Mothers’, for women with children aged 5+, which aims to improve well-being, confidence, connectedness and reduce loneliness. We also run Women’s Support Groups, which are friendly, relaxed spaces for women to meet, socialise, share challenges, offer support to one another and find out about services that meet their needs.
POSITION SUMMARY
In partnership with the local authority, Unfold is developing a new programme in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea in support of the families who have been made homeless or are at risk of homelessness who are accommodated in Bed & Breakfast and commercial hotels, within and outside of the borough. Collaborating with local family services and public health team, Unfold will offer

- Women’s Support Group
- Mentoring for five women
As an Outreach & Programme Coordinator Officer, you will be visiting the families and carrying out a screening to identify priority needs for appropriate signposting and connecting the families back to local services in Kensington & Chelsea. Part of the role will be to set up and run a weekly Women’s Support Group aiming to support the families build connections and find about further services in Kensington & Chelsea or in their new areas. Mentoring is part of the support women will be able to access, and as the Outreach & Programme Coordinator Officer you will be identifying women who are ready to engage in mentoring and working with Unfold colleagues to match them with a mentor, supporting mentoring pairs in their time together.
At Unfold, we work with people with different needs, ages, and backgrounds, so the right person for this role needs to be a great communicator, enjoys connecting with people, has empathy and understands the challenges families face in temporary accommodation arrangements.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Outreach
- Create a plan for visiting on a regular basis all Bed & Breakfast and commercial hotels in five main London boroughs where families have been placed.
- Act as a friendly face who families will trust, building recognition and local knowledge.
- Conduct an initial screening on location to summarise the families’ – both parents and children presenting circumstances.
- Following project referral pathways, share findings of the screening with partner services in Kensington and Chelsea, ensuring that appropriate services are notified.
- Assist families to engage with family support services in Kensington & Chelsea.
- Assist families to access local services in the borough the hotel is located within if appropriate.
- Signpost to local wellbeing activities to meet needs identified by the family, taking into consideration their specific needs and interests.
- Update appropriate resources and signposting materials.
- Identify risks and escalate them in a timely manner to appropriate services.
Women’s Support Group Facilitation & Coordination
- With the support of the Programme Manager, set up and coordinate one weekly Women’s Support Group, following Unfold’s peer support model.
- Create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere so that members feel at ease and able to determine group activities.
- Conduct monitoring of the WSG, including new member registration and attendance.
- Coordinate resources and materials needed for the smooth running of the sessions and signposting.
- Plan groups to meet the needs of members, with lively and engaging sessions in response to needs of group members, coordinating visits from external partners in health, wellbeing, culture and arts.
- Be proactive in outreach and communications to the group, maximising participation and ensuring that everyone feels welcome.
Mentoring Support
- Promote mentoring to women in hotels and B&Bs, so that they’re aware of the benefits and feel they can take up the offer when they’re ready.
- Identify and onboard participants who are ready for mentoring.
- Organise and run assessment and matching sessions for five women, periodically reviewing with mentors and mentees.
- Support mentors to connect mentees with services and activities that meet their needs, using knowledge of local services
- Ensure all participants are aware of and follow safeguarding measures in line with Unfold’s policies.
- Provide ongoing support to volunteers to help them flourish as mentors responding to any questions and concerns.
- Support in the delivery of virtual and in-person mentor training and monthly supervision sessions.
- Make sure our monitoring systems are being used as intended providing support to mentors and mentees as needed.
Administrative Support
- Manage cases with Beacon, our CRM system, making sure all the data is inputted correctly and is up-to-date.
Other Duties and Responsibilities

Superkidz Community Trust was founded in 2001 and over the years, has provided children and young people with a safe space to play and to interact with adults who have the time to listen to them. Key accountabilities:
The Manager will:
· Be an integral member of the team delivering Superkidz day to day activities and groups.

The role:

Job Summary
CAAS provide an ADHD and Autism Support Service for the 8 boroughs of NW London, from our base in Eastcote, with a team of Support Workers. Our work includes offering information, advice, and support to ADHD / autistic people, their families, and professionals in NW London, with the aim of improving quality of life and developing neurodiverse-aware communities. Some of the support is offered through one2one meetings, some of the support is provided through groups and courses which aim to increase understanding and awareness, and provide opportunities for peer support, and some of the support is offered through training and workshops to educate professionals and drive for accommodations to be made to services to allow greater access for our client group.
As Director of Services, you will work closely with the CEO, leading on the management of the Adult Services, Youth Services and Family Services workstreams within the charity, ensuring the high quality service provision for which we are known. The role sits within the senior leadership team at CAAS, alongside the Finance Director, and manages the Youth Services Manager, the Family Services Manager and the Adult Services Manager, who in turn manage around 20 staff between them.
The Director of Services provides a crucial role in ensuring the infrastructure and operational workings of the charity are effective for the more than 30 staff we employ, and the more than 11,000 instances of support we provide each year. Therefore, we are looking for a capable, calm, self-motivated, organised and hard-working Services professional who has worked in a management role directly responsible for service delivery in another charity.
The role requires strong organisation skills, excellent communication and relationship building skills, significant experience of operational service delivery, team leadership experience, the ability to articulate and drive our impact, and a good understanding of fundraising and monitoring requirements in a medium sized charity. - Researching and identifying potential trusts/foundations/businesses as suitable external funders for designated target projects
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to draft fundraising bids, developing persuasive proposals and collating appropriate supporting documentation.
- Proactively develop positive, long-term relationships that grow Field Studies Council’s pipeline of prospects
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of relevant governmental, sector and business opportunities to identify potential funding opportunities
- Fundraising administration including gift processing, donor thanking and stewardship
- Supporting at events and funding meetings, as required

Where you’ll be based
The base location for this position is negotiable, with full remote working / home working a possibility. However, if you prefer working in office, we have Field Studies Centres throughout the country which you are also able to work from. We will also consider hybrid working options.
There may the occasional need to travel to meet with, colleagues, prospective funders and other stakeholders. We expect this to be limited, no more than once every 2-3 months.

You will be passionate about our charity’s mission and understand the importance of Environmental Education.
It’s essential that you have experience working in a fundraising role or department. We need an experienced individual who is confident to write and submit successful fundraising bids to trusts, foundations and businesses.
You will also have experience creating and managing successful supporter journeys to optimise our donations, particularly legators.
As a natural at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, you will be able to tell compelling stories to encourage individuals and organisations to support our aim to connect people to nature.

Main Purpose of Job
We are looking for a personable and committed individual responsible for providing a comprehensive project that benefits young people, local schools & businesses, and the wider community in the London borough of Hounslow.
This post will involve youth outreach, targeted mentoring, and collaboration with schools and local businesses. The role entails coordinating outreach on three local high streets, conducting school assemblies, running a weekly roadshow, and managing a caseload of mentees. The individual will work with referral partners to identify young people both externally referred and from outreach sessions, schools, and weekly sessions for programme engagement, and will pinpoint suitable progression routes and development opportunities focusing on but not limited to health and wellbeing, life skills, and education and employability.
Mentoring and session delivery will primarily occur in the afternoons/evenings to accommodate young people’s schedules, with some sessions during school/working hours. The role also includes supporting the delivery and development of our Communities Engagement and Education department, encompassing estate-based programmes, holiday camps, and targeted mentoring.
You will be required to collaborate with the Local Authority and Police teams to timetable in outreach delivery and design workshops for retail staff around themes including respect, managing behaviour, and safeguarding.
About You
You will have knowledge and experience of Youth Work, Coaching or Mentoring and manging sessions and caseloads. Experience of working with vulnerable young people is essential. You will have the ability to realte well with young people from different backgrounds and an understanding of the current issues and barriers that impact them.
The postholder will have good orgnisation skills with good attention to detail, have a postive and flexible approach with the abiltiy to demonstrate high levels care. You will enjoy working in a team environment.
This role involves a commitment in working three evenings a week, and additional evenings when required.
