Duties
1. To manage and further develop East Kent Mind services across Thanet and Canterbury Districts and Faversham, Ash and Sandwich areas.
2. To manage the East Kent Mind staff, conducting and documenting 121s every 6-8 weeks and organising monthly team meetings.
3. To support the success of the East Kent Mind Live Well Kent and Medway contract and other contracts including supporting service development, overseeing client work and data collection, monitoring targets, writing quarterly reports and attending monitoring meetings.
4. To provide supervision for the Project Coordinator at the Kent Community Oasis Garden (University of Kent) conducting and documenting 121s every 8-12 weeks
5. To attend the quarterly Kent COG management meeting at the University of Kent in Canterbury
6. To manage and supervise the Training and Volunteering Lead for East Kent Mind, conducting and documenting 121s every 6-8weeks
7. To work closely with Revival in Whitstable
8. To organise the quarterly programme and ensure delivery of groups, workshops, courses and training across all areas
9. To promote and publicise the service including assisting with developing the quarterly activities programme (prospectus) and monthly newsletter is produced
10. To network with local services (statutory, voluntary, businesses) in Thanet and Canterbury districts
11. To work from East Kent Mind, King Street Ramsgate at least two days a week and ensure cover for Barclays use of building
12. To work from East Kent Mind Umbrella, William Street, Herne Bay one day a week
13. To oversee the petty cash, cleaning and any building issues arising
14. To ensure the development and promotion of training for staff, schools, businesses and organisations across East Kent
15. To manage safeguarding, incidents and risk
16. To ensure regular feedback from clients and use to improve services
17. To research, explore and implement improvements to the service
18. To make a positive contribution to Mind in Bexley and East Kent as a whole
19. To assist with funding applications, tenders and bids
20. To undertake any other duties and administrative tasks which may reasonably be required, as discussed with Line Manager.

Reporting to our Head of Marketing and Fundraising, this position plays a key role in raising the profile of Green Light Trust to targeted audiences through a range of marketing and fundraising activities and campaigns.
The priorities in this role will include:

Overall purpose of post
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will have a key role to play in delivering the marketing and communications strategy of Low Carbon Hub. Key Responsibilities
Marketing
- Support the development and delivery of marketing plans for new and existing products and services, including community energy share offers.

- Co-ordinate the design and development of digital and offline marketing collateral to meet organisational objectives, and in consultation with project partners.
- Provide marketing support for events such as AGM, conferences, webinars.

Communications
- Lead on developing and uploading engaging content for the Low Carbon Hub website as well as programme websites, such as Action on Carbon and Energy in Schools and Energy Solutions Oxfordshire.
- Manage social media channels, including the creation of engaging content, using the appropriate tone and voice, and lead on responding to and starting conversations to build brand awareness.
- Produce, edit and distribute updates and key material for internal and external audiences such as newsletters, reports, and case studies.
- Provide communications support for Low Carbon Hub programmes such as the Energy Advice Programme and Helpdesk service.
- Work closely with the Community Engagement Manager to develop communications support for low carbon community groups.
- Stay up to date on relevant current affairs and communications trends, building these into our regular communication mix.
- Capture learning and contribute to monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Liaise with, and report to, project partners and funders on a timely basis.
Press
- Field inquiries from press, politicians and service users.
- Create press releases and statements as needed.
- Maintain reporting system for media appearances.
Brand
- Ensure consistent branding is used throughout the organisation and help maintain brand reputation.
- Act as brand champion.
Selection criteria: Experience, knowledge and skills
Essential:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a dedicated marketing or communications role.

About the role
This is a new role within the Fundraising and Digital Directorate, which oversees all aspects of the charity’s fundraising, brand, website, social media, email communications, and lead generation campaigns. This role sits within the Public Fundraising Team, which secures donations from individuals subscribed to our newsletters and individuals giving up to £5,000 per year, legators and regular givers.
We are looking for somebody who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and wants to develop their fundraising, and specifically digital fundraising skills to have a major impact on the lives of refugees in the UK.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management
- Working with the wider public fundraising team, support the development of plans and activity to manage a portfolio of acquisition, retention and stewardship campaigns including, but not limited to, gathering content, setting up landing pages, creating graphics and assets for digital content, designing ad content, as well as delivering email and social media communications and digital versions of our supporter newsletter.
- Provide digital support for each fundraising project from start to finish. Lead on creating segmented and tailored email journeys – source content and create briefs, liaise with suppliers, create and oversee data selections, exports and imports and manage sign off process.
- Manage our email welcome journey for e-news sign ups, and support on the development of other supporter journeys for a range of audiences across the team.
- Ensure continued communications and strong working relationships with the Direct Marketing Manager and Digital and Comms teams.
- Play an active role in coordinating digital communication plans across the organisation, working alongside the Direct Marketing Manager and Comms colleagues to suggest themes and content as well as creating/scheduling content as and when required.

As Director of Marketing and Fundraising, you will be spearheading the charity’s income generation and brand visibility. The postholder will also drive income through zakat and non-zakat funds, diversify revenue streams and grow the organisations presence in the community. This is a full-time, permanent role with flexible working options available however candidates are required to travel to the office in London for occasional meetings.
Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have an understanding of strategic marketing and communication and will have a minimum of four-year’s experience in a similar role. Extensive experience in developing and implementing creative marketing strategies and experience of planning and overseeing targeted campaigns across a range of platforms is essential for the role. You will have demonstratable knowledge of the UK Muslim community and a strong understanding of community engagement for purposes of fundraising and volunteer engagement. Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate data to inform management decisions is also essential for the role.

The Community Fundraising team is looking for a Direct Marketing Manager, who will support our work in developing, promoting, and analysing our portfolio of Community Fundraising products to attract new and diverse audiences to raise vital funds for nature.
The post holder will support the launch of our Do It Yourself (DIY) fundraising product, as well as supporting In Aid Of (IAO) fundraising activity across the UK. The role will support marketing requests across all new and existing Community Fundraising products and campaigns. The role requires a proficiency in data analytics and a track record in responding to trends and sector best practice.
You will have experience in direct marketing and be proficient in delivering multi-channel campaigns in a fast-paced environment. This role also requires an in-depth knowledge of direct marketing techniques including testing, profiling, segmentation, return on investment analysis, cost per contact. You will have experience in managing multiple projects and budgets, as well as a track record in excellent stakeholder management. An understanding of Community Fundraising developments and best practice would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will be driven, creative and possess excellent attention to detail.

Your responsibilities

About the role
We’re looking for a Legacy Marketing Officer to join our Individual Giving and Legacy Team.
It’s an exciting time to join the Legacy Team as we are embarking on a new era for legacy and in memory giving at Young Lives vs Cancer. In memory giving and gifts in Wills left to us by our supporters are essential to ensuring we can help generations of children and young people who will sadly be living with a cancer diagnosis. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Legacy Marketing Officer to play a pivotal role in supporting the Legacy Marketing Manager to plan, implement and deliver legacy and in-memory strategies.
The Legacy Officer will work on a range of legacy and in-memory campaigns, materials and supporter centric journeys across multiple channels. As a team we will maximise legacy and in memory giving and acquire new legacy and in memory supporters, as well as nurturing existing supporters who have expressed an interest in leaving a gift in their Will for the future of Young Lives vs Cancer’s work.
The role will suit a passionate and creative individual who thrives on working collaboratively and who is able to manage end to end projects and supplier relationships. There will be a need to analyse data to monitor performance as well as identifying trends and opportunities. Fulfilment mapping is also a key element of the role as well as being comfortable presenting in person to colleagues and suppliers.
