About the role
Breast Cancer Now’s life-saving research and essential support services are only possible because of our amazing supporters. The supporter experience manager will help to ensure all Breast Cancer Now supporters have brilliant experiences with us. This means supporters are thanked properly, kept up to date about the impact of their support and given interesting, relevant opportunities to support again. This varied role will work with teams across the organization to share supporter insight, embed best practice, and create consistency. You’ll be leading mystery shopping, running workshops with teams and creating resources. Your role will have a particular emphasis on working to make sure individual giving supporters are well looked after.
About you
The successful candidate will be passionate about championing supporters’ wants, needs and preferences, advocating for supporters to be considered at every turn. You’ll have worked on activities to improve supporter or customer experience previously, whether in a charity or company. You’ll be confident in managing projects which involve multiple teams, and most importantly you’ll be able to get people excited about experience.

Trusts and Foundations Manager
This is a new role at the DEC and developed as a key part of the DEC’s 2024-2029 strategy. The DEC has a wide range of established relationships with trusts and foundations, many of which give 6- and 7-figure sums to DEC appeals. The Trusts & Foundations Manager will be responsible for providing excellent stewardship to our portfolio of trusts and foundations.
In addition, the role will also be responsible for cultivating new relationships for the DEC through thorough research, and through the prospect development cycle, to raise money for DEC appeals. In addition to appeal fundraising, the Trusts & Foundations Manager will be responsible for delivering on a new core cost fundraising strategy, in close partnership with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships.
Demonstrable, transferable trusts and foundations experience and knowledge, (preferably within the humanitarian & charity sector), will hold you in good stead for this exciting new role.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Development: Develop and manage the trusts and foundations portfolio and create compelling proposals for future appeals and core costs income. Showcase new ideas and innovative approaches for growing and developing a pipeline of new prospects. Develop engaging stewardship plans.
Administrative Compliance: Lead and manage, robust and professional grant management, ensuring systems and processes are fit for purpose, streamlined and accessible. Remain compliant with grant terms and conditions, ensuring you are clearly communicating the unique contours of the DEC model whilst providing comprehensive and inspiring impact reporting.
Relationship Management: Maintain regular contact and collaboration with internal teams to collate a high-quality suite of communication materials and stewardship plans specific to a trust and foundation audience. Proactively reach out and build long-lasting relationships with funders to reach ambitious fundraising targets.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor, measure and evaluate progress against the DEC’s strategic goals and funds raised from trusts and foundations. Prepare regular reports for senior management and trustees on the development, progress and future strategic actions for trusts and foundations at the DEC.
Essential qualities, experience, knowledge, skills, include:
- A track record of securing five- and six-figure donations from trusts and foundations.
- Experience of successfully executing cultivation plans and retaining positive, key relationships with trusts and foundations on behalf of a charity.
- Experience of producing professional and compelling funding propositions for a trust and foundation audience.
- Experience of delivering highly engaging and personalised stewardship journeys and meeting the reporting requirements of charitable trusts and foundations
- High level of technical ability with appropriate computer software packages and data analysis and visualisation software [i.e., Microsoft Office, Adobe, Box].

Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for pro-actively generating new business enquiries and opportunities for Cumberland Lodge, with the objective of maximising occupancy and income within the charitable and operational policies we work to.
Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
Working closely with: Meeting & Events Manager, Hospitality Director, Communications & Engagement team
Strategic planning and execution
- Develop and implement the business development and marketing strategy aligned with our organisational goals.
- Lead the creation of multi-channel marketing plans to drive lead generation, and client acquisition.
- Oversee the delivery of venue marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and traditional channels.
Market awareness
- Analyse data and insights to inform marketing strategies and campaign adjustments.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Undertake regular benchmarking of Cumberland Lodge’s conference facilities, services and charges against local competitors, identifying market trends, opportunities, and competitive rates.
Lead generation and client acquisition
- Develop strategies to generate high-quality leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential new clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and commercial partnerships to expand the client base.
Event promotion and coordination
- Collaborate with the Meeting & Events and Communications & Engagement teams to promote upcoming business development and marketing events, and maximise attendance.
- Create and manage event marketing calendars, timelines, and promotional plans
- Attend and support events to ensure successful delivery and to network with potential clients.
Management and reporting
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints

Person specification

Benefits
Annual leave: 33 days including Bank Holidays. The charity is closed over the Christmas period which will be deducted from the leave allocation. Use of a company car for business-related trips.

Sound & Art at St Swithun’s
Sound & Art at St Swithun’s (SASS) is a £2.8M Heritage Lottery Funded project, to create an arts space in the heart of Worcester city centre. The Grade I listed church has been transformed through conservation and adaptation, giving it a new lease of life. SASS launched in late October 2022.

Overall job purpose
You will provide effective on-site caretaking and cleaning services as part of the Sound & Art at St Swithun’s Team. You will also assist with the setting up and taking down of equipment for events and ensure the church is opened/locked as required for volunteers, event promoters, workshop providers and venue hires.

Responsibilities and Duties

We are the Military Wives Choirs, the only charity that focuses on building wellbeing and resilience, through singing, for all women impacted by their military connection. Our mission, Sing, Share, Support, is at the heart of everything we do.
This role is part of the Choirs Support Team (CST), a small, dedicated team, that supports the network of individual Military Wives Choirs and the performances of Military Wives Choirs as a recording and performing artist. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading on the development and delivery of the music plan for Military Wives Choirs
Assuring the quality of our choirs’ music-making, event activity, rehearsal and performance practice and relationships with Musical Directors and other key stakeholders
Providing advice and support to choirs with the recruitment and management of their Musical Directors
Ensuring that our Musical Directors, Assistant Musical Directors and accompanists are of consistent quality and understand and support the direction and ethos that we want for our choirs
Overseeing the delivery of musical performances.
Managing recording opportunities and new commissions end to end, in line with the approved proposal and budget
Managing the Military Wives Choirs core repertoire ensuring that the repertoire is refreshed and maintained, effectively communicated to choirs, taking account of their preferences.
Measuring the impact of our music-making on the wellbeing of the network and monitoring the number of choirs and size of the network
Managing wellbeing issues and developing mental health first aid and mediation skills within choirs

What you'll do:
● Stock Management: Managing the end to end process of receiving donations and fulfilling orders from our Family Support Team into our Essential Items projects (School Days, Baby Bank, Safe Place to Sleep).
● Coordinate volunteers: Work with the team to recruit, train and manage our vital volunteer workforce to maximise the support we can give to families.
● Administrative and Data Management: Oversee the day to day administration of the organisation, line managing our administrator and data manager, to ensure that families are receiving the best service possible.
● Facilities Management: Ensuring our buildings are safe places to work and everything is in the right place at the right time to support families the best we can.
● Day to day line management: 3-4 direct reports, helping deliver logistical support across the organisation to be as efficient as we can be in our support for families.
● Events Support: Work with the events manager to ensure that all events equipment is ready, available and delivered for our fundraising events.

At a time of huge pressure for young Londoners and youth organisations across the capital, our work is needed more than ever. Many young people, particularly those from underserved communities, are feeling the strain and urgently need the safety of local youth spaces, the support of trusted adults, and the inspiration of programmes that meet their needs.

Currently responsible for over 70% of our charitable income, The Trusts and Foundation’s team are a crucial part of ensuring we have the money to drive that strategy forward and deliver for young people and youth organisations across the capital.

The Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager will be an experienced and successful fundraiser ready to use their skills and experience to grow our most important income stream.
Key Responsibilities
· develop and maintain an exemplary understanding of the needs of young people and youth organisations in London.
· proactively communicate the vision and mission, aims and work of London Youth to funders.
· undertake prospect research to identify new funding opportunities that increase restricted and unrestricted income.
· collaborate with teams from across London Youth to develop and submit high quality five and six figure applications to trusts, foundations, institutional funders, and livery companies.
· work with colleagues to find ways to increase income form existing funders.
· meet all KPIs and financial targets.
· provide first class stewardship to funders.
· maintain up-to-date records on all aspects of fundraising activity on Salesforce and SharePoint and produce regular reports/reports when needed.
· ensure agreements are in place with all funders and are recorded in line with our processes.

About You
You will have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the UK political system and understanding of the issues affecting Sue Ryder’s work. You will have significant experience of campaign work, designed to achieve change, generating engagement and mobilising supporters. You will be skilled at networking proactively and confident in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external colleagues, comfortable negotiating where different perspectives exist. You will have good knowledge and understanding of PR and social media and how this should be used as part of an integrated approach to influencing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Sue Ryder externally across the UK at meetings, groups and events with key stakeholders to raise the profile of our influencing work and secure positive changes for our communities.
- Work in partnership with the Senior Influencing Manager to develop an annual campaign and public affairs workplan that helps the Influencing team to deliver its strategy and the wider organisation’s vision.
- Work with the Campaigns and Public Affairs Officer to deliver the annual workplan - and to show sound judgement in discharging this function – to enable the Influencing team to progress towards its goals

This is a newly created position, arising through their plans to grow the organisation and it's reach. Noah Enterprise are a charitable organisation whose aim is to provide support, welfare and outreach services to individuals in the Luton & Central Bedfordshire areas, experiencing homelessness and poverty.
Reporting into the Head of Fundraising, as the newly appointed Community & Events fundraiser, you will be responsible for making a significant contribution to the charity’s voluntary income, through fundraising at community events and initiatives, and taking the lead on medium and large scale events. As an experienced fundraiser, you will build new, and retain current community relationships with individuals, groups and businesses, to gain support, loyalty and sponsorship. You will also raise brand awareness of Noah’s services within the community.

As Noah Enterprise’s new Community & Events Fundraiser, your duties and responsibilities will include :
- Contributing towards the Community and Events fundraising voluntary income. Manage your own portfolio and budget.
- Achieving community fundraising targets by researching, developing, organising and executing 3rd party and NOAH led community initiatives, events and fundraising activities.
- Take the lead, and be supported on large scale events, and deliver medium sized events with a focus on community relationships, third party events and groups to include education providers and religious groups.
- Build new and retain current solid and robust community roots and relationships with individuals, groups and businesses, to gain support, loyalty and sponsorship. You will inform and raise brand awareness of NOAHs services within the community
- Initiate and develop relationships with individuals, schools, colleges and universities as well as religious groups, groups, clubs and businesses and social clubs within Luton, Bedfordshire and surrounding counties. Engage and encourage participation in fundraising NOAH initiatives.
- Give talks and presentations about the charity’s work and its fundraising activities. In addition manage and supporting NOAH Ambassadors, FR Groups and FR Volunteers to do the same.
As the new Community & Events fundraiser, your experience and skillsets and attributes will include :
- Previous fundraising experience gained in a not for profit organisation, across any income stream.
- Events management experience preferred but not essential.
- The ability to work autonomously and without direction, using own initiative.
- Previous experience of building relationships.
