The Eve Appeal
The Eve Appeal is the UK’s leading charity working on prevention of the five gynaecological cancers – womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal. Our aim is to prevent gynaecological cancers and save lives by raising awareness and funding ground-breaking research focused on risk prediction, earlier detection and developing screening for all of the five gynae cancers.
What's this role about?
This exciting position is responsible for delivering our fundraising programme to the public, with support from our Deputy Head of Fundraising.
You will focus on delivering key fundraising activities and an exceptional experience to a wide range of supporters, ensuring that you deepen relationships and maximise value. You will also coordinate and deliver the marketing of our public fundraising activity, alongside colleagues in communications and digital engagement.
The role works across three key areas:
- Individual giving (direct marketing, regular giving, in-memory)
- Sporting events & challenges (virtual challenges, running events, our annual bespoke trek)
- Community fundraising (campaigns, community groups, ad-hoc fundraisers)
We do not expect you to have experience across all three areas.
This role is also responsible for the line management of our Fundraising Assistant, who you will help to develop in their role and ensure all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Person specification
To fulfil this role, we believe you will need the following skills and experiences:
- Experience in at least one of individual giving, sporting & challenge events, or community fundraising, or transferable skills and/or experience.
- Effective communicator, able to engage and inspire others about The Eve Appeal's work.
- Strong copywriting skills with experience targeting various audiences, channels, and activities.
- Understanding of digital marketing.
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- Ability to analyse data, derive insights, and present findings to influence decision making.
- Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Ability to confidently use database software. Experience of Raiser’s Edge NXT is an advantage.
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

We are seeking a Fundraising Manager with a passion for our mission who will build relationships with donors to the charity– especially charitable trusts and foundations– and help to secure a significant proportion of the charity’s income.
This is key to delivering the Future Frontiers programme and making a lasting difference for disadvantaged young people on their education and career journeys.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Fundraising Manager and focus on building meaningful, long-term relationships to secure 4-5+ figure gifts over the coming years.

Your responsibilities
Build lasting relationships with supporters
You will develop an in-depth understanding of existing and potential supporters to provide tailored relationship management, including engagement opportunities, to build towards significant gifts over multiple years.
Develop and manage a portfolio of supporters
You will work closely with our Fundraising Coordinator to identify charitable trusts and foundations that have the potential to support Future Frontiers for the first time. You will effectively qualify and engage with prospects to build a pipeline for the coming years, matching prospects with appropriate asks.
Write applications for funding
You will write compelling applications for funding that are tailored to each recipient and make a convincing case for how their support will make a difference for disadvantaged young people.
Report on impact
You will deliver high quality reports that are tailored to each recipient and demonstrate how their funding has made a different for disadvantaged young people. You will plan and deliver case studies to convey the difference made by supporters.
Record-keeping
You will ensure that key information about our fundraising activity is stored appropriately and with high attention to detail.

Experience
● Managing relationships with trusts and foundations, or similar transferable skills from a sales/fundraising background (essential): Experience of applying to and stewarding trusts and foundations to secure 4+ figure gifts over multiple years.

Purpose of the Trusts Fundraising Officer role:
The Trusts Fundraising Officer is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a rolling programme of prospect identification, research and applications for funding from Trusts and Foundations.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Trusts Fundraising Officer:
- Prepare core and restricted funding applications to Trusts and Foundations, up to the value £100k, contributing to the team’s annual fundraising targets.
- Prepare and submit reports and develop stewardship journeys for funders.
- Research potential funders to maintain the funding pipeline.
- Maintain records on all reporting and re-application deadlines, working closely with Finance and project teams as required.
What we are looking for in our Trusts Fundraising Officer:
- Someone with experience of, or enthusiasm to develop, application-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, as well as drive, initiative and determination.
- Diligent with details, skilled at researching prospects and able to work to tight timescales.
- We value candidates with transferable skills for example from an administration, research or communications background with strong writing abilities.
- Fundraising experience would be beneficial, but not essential.

The Partnerships Programme Lead is crucial to Bliss's corporate fundraising efforts, tasked with optimising the value of our corporate partner relationships. About Women in Prison
Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. Role and responsibilities
We are recruiting for a Community Shop Supervisor to join our diverse and engaged team in our shop.
It’s a great opportunity to deliver positive social impact in the local community and contribute to funding the vital work of SCT. As Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards on our shop floor, supporting volunteers to provide excellent customer service. As well as involvement in stock selection, pricing and merchandising. A key part of the role will be to engage the shop within the local community with the onboarding of new volunteers.
To be successful in this role you will have retail experience or experience of working within a busy environment. Experience of providing a high standard of customer service and will have the ability to deal effectively with conflicting priorities.
You will have strong administrative skills including using all Microsoft packages, be solution focused, resilient, have a high level of attention to detail and excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to successfully manage a busy and diverse workload.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with challenging situations and individuals with a range of needs.
Your duties will include the following in order to assist the Assistant Shop Manager and Shop Manager:
- To achieve maximum sales at all times.
- To ensure that a high standard of service to customers is maintained at all times.
- To maintain a high standard of display both in the shop and in the windows.
- To ensure that the shop is clean and tidy at all times.
- To ensure merchandise is clearly ticketed, sized and priced.
- In consultation with the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager, arrange shop fittings to make the best use of space and to maximise sales.
- To rotate stock so that no garment remains on the rails for longer than the specified rotation period.
- To open and close the shop as specified by the Shop Manager.
- To recruit and train volunteers to ensure they are able to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
- To complete all paperwork correctly and promptly.
- To reconcile each day’s takings, keeping a clear and accurate record and pass them onto the Administrator for banking.
- To control all shop expenses within the budget agreed with the Shop Manager.
