Overview of the role – Programmes Administrator:
LST is seeking a detailed-orientated and highly organised professional with a real willingness to support people for the role of Programmes Administrator
This is a crucial role where the postholder will join a small and friendly Registry team supporting Faculty and students across the organisation.
The responsibilities of the post-holder are designed and divided into two main areas: Registry activities and Programmes activities. The post-holder will provide efficient and effective delivery to the Theology and Worship Programmes and Theology and Counselling Programme, while continuing to assist with Registry Office functions.
Key Tasks:
The following key tasks are indicative of the role, rather than exhaustive, and tasks may be amended in response to changing requirements or in line with the skills and experience of the post-holder:
- Supporting the Music Programme Leader with music events, concerts and recitals
- Supporting the Counselling Programme Leader with the organisation of residential weekends and exams
- Managing the Attendance Register
- Registry tasks including marking administration, Assessment Board preparation and programme options/module feedback/projects
- Using the Student Information System eg data-inputting
- Using the Virtual Learning Environment eg enrolling students and registering updates
Person specification:
The successful candidate will be naturally detail-orientated, highly organised and efficient. As the postholder will be joining a small and friendly team, a natural warmth and willingness to be a good team-player is important. This is a professional support service role so an understanding of customer service and a real willingness to help people is essential.
London School of Theology is a Christian college and as such it is a requirement of the Person Specification that the postholder must be in sympathy with the Christian ethos, aims and objectives of the School.

Terrence Higgins Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Health Promotion Specialist to join their team, working as part of the Essex Sexual Health Service.
The post holder will support in the design and delivery of effective health promotion (HP) and behaviour change communication (BCC) interventions appropriate to the needs of Seldom Heard from Communities namely; People of African/Caribbean Heritage, Commercial Sex Workers (CSW), Men who have sex with men (MSM) and other groups at increased risk of poor sexual health outcomes. Delivery will be through community engagement approaches that tackle HIV related stigma and discrimination. Delivering targeted interventions that increase knowledge and awareness of HIV, increase HIV testing and highlight the benefits of early diagnosis, access to care treatment and increase the uptake of broader sexual health services across Essex and Thurrock.
The post holder will be expected to undertake comprehensive training in order to achieve Assistant Practitioner (AP) competencies, to enable them to be able to offer HIV point of care testing (POCT) for HIV, syphilis and other sexually transmitted infections.
The role will also incorporate delivering sexual health promotion services to young people, through delivery of relationship and sexual health education (RSHE), outreach delivery and supporting young people via the 1-2-1 education and early intervention programme.

The Public Law team at Central England Law Centre (CELC) provides legal advice and representation to clients across the Coventry and Birmingham area under a Legal Aid Contract.

We are looking for a part-time Making Music Platform Support Officer to work with our Assistant Membership and Services Manager to support members with the Making Music Platform Service.
Making Music is the UK association for leisure-time music, with 4,000 music groups in membership including choirs, bands, ensembles of all kinds, orchestras, and more.

You will be part of our administrative team providing support across a range of functions within the HS; managing Excel spreadsheets, inputting and raising invoices; managing calls to and from a range of people including those bereaved by homicide and generally supporting the Homicide Service to run smoothly. The aim of the project is to assess the individual over a 12-week period with the aim of identifying their support and housing needs. In that period, we will provide a bed for the customer to assist staff to carry out a detailed assessment to ensure that the recommendation for move on into alternative housing is captured correctly to assist move on for the individual into more suitable accommodation which is correct reflective of their needs based on our assessment/recommendation.
The service operates a model of personalised approach in order to address a wide range of presenting complex needs, which could range from mild learning difficulties, substance use (alcohol and drugs), offending, mental health, dual diagnoses, etc. We work closely with outside agencies in order to ensure that the individual is linked into getting the correct support whilst they remain at the assessment centre.
A major part of the Assessment Support Workers role is putting in the foundation with our customers around basic living skills and preparing the individual to be ready to move into alternative supported accommodation.
This role requires a valid Right to Work for the UK as Look Ahead are not a sponsoring organisation.
What you'll do:
Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs including support needs and daily living skills. This would include potential risks and an assessment of the customers independent living skills as a whole.
The initial and co-produced assessment will incorporate models of co-production, observation, and person-centred planning. This is with a view that it is solution focused as to provide a framework for progression towards independent living.
Liaise with partner agencies regarding the assessment process seeking advice and guidance as to specialist input and clinical input as part of multi-disciplinary assessment process.
Create support/ action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available.
Empower customers to be part of the local community and active participants in the local community as part of a Recovery Capital model.
Liaise with partner agencies regarding making referrals where an unmet need has been identified via the multi-agency assessment.
Ensure that referrals are chased proactively so that properties which can be used to house those in need are filled as efficiently as possible.
Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/Manager
Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks as past of the assessment of daily living skills, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation.
Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community.
Co produce In Reach services at the Assessment Centre so that we are able to action plan jointly with partner agencies and feed into any action plans in regard to customers support needs e.g. Substance Misuse treatment plans
Attend training and workshops that are delivered via partner agencies were possible to provide a through and up to date assessment.
Empower customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled to, including assessment and support of budgeting and debt management to garner their tenancy readiness.
Undertake all administrative work and keep accurate and comprehensive tenant/customer records to professional standards.
Adhere to Look Ahead's Policies and Procedures
Engage in learning and development activity to increase knowledge and skills.
Provide day-to-day instruction of domestic staff/Personal Support Assistants where appropriate.
Undertake any other duties consistent with the grade and nature of the post as may be reasonably assigned.

Within the Human Resources department sits the Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) Team that works strategically to build organisational capacity through delivery of our L&OD Strategy. L&OD works in partnership with the organisation, developing solutions that are aligned to our mission and strategy and are a good fit with our culture and people, combining face to face and digital learning experiences.
The L&OD Coordinator will play a key part in a team who are passionate about culture and people development are trusted throughout Battersea. They will take responsibility for the co-ordination, planning and administration across the L&OD Team, acting as a first point of contact for all queries ensuring a responsive and customer focused service. They will provide timely and accurate coordination of activities across all areas of the L&OD function, and will have excellent organisational and communication skills, have a pro-active and professional approach and work effectively within a team and with stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with experience of working in a fast-paced coordinator and/or administrative role in human resources, learning and development or organisational development, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
