The social media Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping Musana’s online presence by leading creative initiatives, setting up digital fundraisers, collaborating with global teams, and managing our social media channels. Strategy:

Lead the social media strategy to build it out further and optimise as we go, which includes:

Creative Leadership:

● Lead creative development from the brand side with the content creation team, era92, based in Kampala, Uganda.

● Collaborate with the U.K. Director and U.S. Marketing Director to ensure all social media concepts are relevant, engaging, and aligned with Musana’s goals.

● Stay informed about events, activities, programs, and construction projects happening across Musana locations to share timely and relevant content.

● Build content will capture the attention of our audience and drive engagement. Work closely with internal and external teams to create content that captivates our audience within the first few seconds of viewing.

● Create campaigns, and own start to finish

● Initiate and participate in conversations with thought leaders, organisations, and key stakeholders to build relationships and enhance Musana’s online presence.

Reporting & Analytics:

About you

We are looking for an exceptional self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills who will be required to present and research topics with high attention to details and accuracy. We are looking for people to join our Bristol Complex Needs in Totterdown, Bristol as a Project Worker. The service provides accommodation and housing related support to people experiencing homelessness; dedicated to providing a safe, high quality and inclusive service to people while they are living in the hostel, and a positive move-on into independent housing. 

In the role of Project Worker, you will:

• Oversee a caseload of clients and provide ongoing 1-1 support in an approachable, caring and person-centred way.
• Provide practical and personal support to clients with complex needs around areas such as housing and health. 
• Have a good understanding of a person centred approach and how to provide the right support to clients to meet individual needs, identifying personal aims and ambitions and making plans to achieve them.  
• Work with the team, external statutory agencies and voluntary organisations to ensure everyone has access to available support.  
• Continue to develop your skills further around working with clients in a holistic way, and to gain a deeper understanding of housing and benefits law, and other specialist areas through training, supervision and line management support. 

In this role you will work on a shift rota Monday – Friday 9am-5pm. In some of these role’s staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Compliance Officer to support the administration of compliance and quality management related activities across the organisation.

As our Compliance Officer, you will play an essential role in ensuring the organisation adheres to its standard operating procedures and processes and will become a super user of our new eQMS (electronic quality management system) to monitor and maintain compliance records. The role will be varied and offer the opportunity to support the Compliance manager with compliance related projects and work across different departments to help encourage a compliant mindset across the organisation. Full training will be provided.

-   Experience of administration and record keeping to a high standard
-   IT literate in all major MS Office applications
-   Highly organised, efficient and self-motivated

About the Service

Our Peripatetic Team provide front-line support to Solace’s Advice, Community and Accommodation-based Services across London. Crisis Intervention Workers enable our services to deliver a consistent high standard of service.

The team was created in order to have trained, skilled staff ready to cover gaps in service and facilitate the continued smooth running of services, proactively supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse.  They are required to go into different teams and quickly establish themselves and provide support in times where staff teams may be struggling.

About the Role

In all services, peri workers provide nonjudgmental, confidential, and trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Typical tasks include risk assessment, safety planning, and working with survivors to develop individual support plans.

Peri workers have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles across Solace’s services. Working across departments offers peri workers the ability to continually develop their knowledge, casework skills, advocacy skills, multi-agency working, and ability to manage and thrive in a changing environment.

The role will involve commuting to sites across London, and although hybrid working may be available in some projects it is not possible for all. Travel is taken into consideration when confirming placements, however you should be prepared for longer commutes.

This role in certain placements will require you to work a rota including weekend hours between 8am – 8pm.

About You

The Peripatetic Team is dynamic – our colleagues bring a wide range of transferrable skills and different experiences to the team that informs our practice and work with survivors.

The Peripatetic Team is looking for passionate advocates who understand the importance of working in a trauma-informed way with both survivors and colleagues, who are willing to continuously learn and develop their skills, and who understand intersectionality and the impacts violence against women and girls can have on women with intersecting identities. While prior experience of working with survivors of abuse is desirable, it is not a requirement and if you have transferrable skills and a passion for supporting women and children then we would love to hear from you.

You will be a great fit in the Peri Team if you embrace change, have a growth mindset, and are comfortable working independently. Although peri workers are dispersed across different services, the team offers regular opportunities to connect with fellow peri colleagues.
