We’re looking for a new STH Practitioner to provide high quality and effective Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) programmes for adults in our gardens in Battersea Park and outreach settings. Working alongside volunteers this role will support people with learning disabilities, autism, long term health conditions or other disabilities.
Based at Thrive London in Battersea Park. The role will involve some work undertaken off-site in London and occasional travel to the Thrive Centres in Reading and Birmingham.

About us:
At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions. We support hundreds of families, both in our hospice and in family homes.
Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family; including overnight care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, home visits and much, much more.
It costs around £6.5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. Statutory funding makes up 16% of this amount and the rest is raised through fundraising activity.
Our services include overnight stays and community breaks at home or in the hospice. We also support the whole family from diagnosis with our multi-disciplinary Family Support team who provide counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy and much more. Our care team supports these families in our modern, purpose-built building. All our rooms/bedrooms have a homely feel. We have a sensory room, spa pool, cinema room and six acres of gardens.
We support families from a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. The hospice is easily accessible from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and North Notts. We have free secure on-site parking for families and staff to use.
The role:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as the Events Fundraiser teamed with a commercial sales focus. This role requires a unique blend of fundraising expertise and commercial acumen to drive our vision forward. To manage an engaging programme of supporter events at Bluebell Wood including budget forecasting and reconciliation.
To plan and run a strong and successful events programme to raise substantial income and awareness across the Bluebell Wood catchment area, attracting different sections of the community including family members and corporates.
To be the leader and person in charge at all Bluebell Wood fundraising events and activities including third party and mass participation events. Additionally, this role will focus on developing commercial sales strategies to generate revenue through partnerships, sponsorships, and product sales. Our client is currently recruiting for a Digital Empowerment Officer to join their Community Engagement team. As a Digital Empowerment Officer, you will lead in the coordination, development and delivery of digital inclusion projects, initiatives and activities for Platform customers and communities.
This is a role where you will be active in communities promoting the use of digital platforms, tackling barriers to digital exclusion, and helping to improve digital skills. Within this role, you will be building on the existing successes with the team and will receive support from your colleagues to be successful in the role.
The Digital Empowerment Officer will be responsible for supporting communities around the Midlands including Matlock, Ashbourne, Leicester, North Warwickshire and outskirts of Birmingham. - Working with communities to promote the use of our client's digital services and customer portals.

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to refugees in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people with experience of forced migration through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers refugees face in preparing for, and ultimately finding, work in the UK.STEP is open to all refugees, and people seeking asylum with the right to work.
Our strategy over the next 12 months is to refine and strengthen our programmes, with a focus on excellence, innovation and sustainability across STEP. Central to these efforts is adopting ‘Lean Impact’ principles across our organisation and ways of working, with the support of Spring Impact. The starting point of this work is the planning and pilot of STEP Online, an intensive version of STEP to fast track those who are highly skilled. We plan to explore, test and plan for this programme in consultancy with Spring Impact, leveraging their Lean Impact Methodology.
The post holder will play a pivotal role in leading this piece of work with two main objectives:
- Explore, test and plan for STEP Online. This will involve being the lead implementer of testing minimum viable products, participating in workshops and identified working groups, and co-leading on test coaching sessions and team reflections with Spring Impact.
- Establish and build internal capacity and development for Lean Impact. This includes supporting a discipline of continuous testing and learning at World Jewish Relief to be able to rapidly trial, refine and scale other models across the organisation on a longer-term basis.
About you
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience developing and implementing innovative and community-centred learning practices, including designing prototypes, data collection, analysis and using a high level of numeracy to make data-driven decisions to build impactful solutions (i.e., Lean Impact, Equity-Centred Design, Human Centred Design).
- Proven experience in managing projects from initiation to completion, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource management.
- Experience working on projects for people who have experienced forced migration, particularly, in the refugee employment sphere would be desirable.

The TACT London & The East Administration Manager will be an integral member of the Management Team with operational responsibility for three highly dedicated and experienced administrative staff. Joining the team now will mean you will be integral to reviewing existing systems and processes and ensuring administrative tasks consistently facilitate activities for social work colleagues, carers, children and young people.
The Administration Manager will be experienced in leading a small team who work digitally using the Microsoft Office Suite while being fully home based. The Administration team undertake a wide range of admin tasks including crucial compliance processes, timely statutory reporting, regular minute taking, event organising, fostering panel administration, team wellbeing activities, and coordination of essential communications and much more.
Working closely with the Area and Deputy Area Managers, and in accordance with regulatory and safeguarding requirements, the Administration Manager will role model Our Values with a collaborative approach, and curiosity, to aid innovation while coordinating all admin activities including cover for and gaps and absences. Overall Duties of the xxx will include:
- Management, supervision and development of small team of admin staff
- Participating in operational planning and management to ensure smooth running of all admin functions
- Responsibility for processes and systems for contributing to financial planning, budgeting and reporting

- Responsibility for establishing and maintaining systems and processes to support statutory reporting and compliance

What you'll do:
Supporting people with complex disabilities to take part in a range of learning, leisure, health and wellbeing-based activities during daytime hours, with some occasional flexibility required on an out of hours basis
Supporting customers to access leisure and learning-based opportunities both at Antill Road and in the community in line with their individualised activity plan
