We are looking for a Support Analyst to join our busy Service Desk team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

Reporting to our Service Desk Team Leader and working as a key member of the wider Service Delivery team, this role will see you as the first point of contact for all customer support incidents, requests and problems. Your focus will be to deliver operational excellence through providing technical support to all RBL staff and volunteers ensuring all enquiries are handled consistently and efficiently with a strong focus on customer service.

The Service Desk operates as a cohesive unit, frequently collaborating with various parts of the organisation. In your day-to-day activities, you will engage with everyone from CX to volunteers. Key responsibilities will include:

· Act as the contact point for customers seeking technical assistance in person, over the phone, e-mail or via chat

· Provide when on-site, technical support in person to a broad range of reported incidents which cannot be resolved remotely. 

· Prioritise and manage workload effectively, managing several open incidents/problems concurrently while ensuring every customer receives the highest levels of service

· Escalate unresolved enquiries as necessary to the next line of technical support and work collaboratively to resolve issue for the customer

· Liaise with 3rd parties and suppliers as appropriate to resolve technical problems and in the management of other peripheral equipment

Main Purpose of Role: Identify, gather, and shape content & case studies suitable for wide-ranging comms channels, while effectively supporting the Comms team to deliver engaging comms across all channels. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Support the Head of Communications to develop and maintain the annual comms calendar/plan and work with teams to support its delivery. 

• Support PR & Communications Manager in gathering and sharing case studies from start to finish.

• Nurture relationships with clients and frontline workers as appropriate, with regular communication throughout the year - for example, thanking, sharing the Year in Review, sending Christmas cards. 

• Work closely with the Digital Manager to support our social media strategy and help manage social media channels day-to-day.

• Work closely with colleagues across both the Fundraising and Programmes teams to ensure their comms needs are supported effectively. 

• Manage and support events organised or supported by the Comms team - for example, the Annual Appeal launch event. 

• Work closely with the Heads of Communications to manage the delivery of the Appeal Hub. 

• Contribute to comms planning cycles, brainstorming sessions and any reporting required. 

• Support ongoing work on language, branding, and act as a custodian of the St Martin’s Charity brand. 

• Oversee the maintenance of the Content Warehouse and facilitate colleagues across the team to access the content required to support their work.

• Deputise for the Digital Manager in developing and publishing content for the Charity or Frontline Network websites.

• Proven experience of writing for different audiences for a variety of different media, including print and digital. 

• Previous experience of using Adobe products would offer an advantage.

The Senior Research and Evaluation Officer will join a small consultancy team and will be managed by the charity’s Research and Evaluation Manager. The team is also supported by a number of colleagues from across the organisation who work on specific projects based on their areas of expertise. The consultancy team is part of the charity’s wider research and impact team, who collectively have two areas of responsibility: evaluating and reporting the impact of the charity’s programmes and providing research and evaluation consultancy and strategy support to education organisations.

The successful candidate will have strong research skills, including in quantitative research, and will be able to communicate technical information and findings to university access and success practitioners and educators. They will also demonstrate professional skills in relation to stakeholder management and project management and will champion the charity’s values and embody them in interactions with colleagues and partners. While this role can be based at any of our offices throughout the UK, some travel will be required (mainly to London) to attend in-person meetings.

You will have experience in assessing safeguarding risks and vulnerabilities, and in developing effective strategies for prevention, intervention, and response.

Often at the point of referral, a client’s needs have not been met by any of the services they may require. Part of our role is building the trusting relationships required to put the necessary support in place. Understandably, therefore, these services operate in challenging environments and require resilient and compassionate staff.

Young Peoples' Services: These services are dedicated to providing support to young people, specifically in relation to leaving care, offending behaviour, gang affiliation, complex mental health and anti-social behaviour. We work within a strengths and recovery framework embedded within a trauma informed approach to ensure client needs and aspirations are at the centre of the support planning process. Working in these services would mean overseeing the support and development of the young person’s needs and aspirations. The postholder will hold a caseload of complex cases and will be responsible for supporting the team to manage complex cases. You will guide and signpost the young person to the relevant statutory and non-statutory services and will be key in motivating and coaching the young person to develop independent living skills.

Floating Support Services: Focussed on fostering independence and empowering your clients, we work to support individuals to sustain their tenancy, enhance their wellbeing, build resilience, and achieve their goals and aspirations. As a member of the Peripatetic Senior Practitioner Team, you will move between services and will generally cover a rota ‘line’ until we recruit to the vacancy that the worker is covering, providing interim supervisory support to staff teams as directed by the Team/Service manager. The Finance Officer is responsible for working within the core Wheels for All team to provide finance team support to the wider programme delivery and national staff team. This role would suit someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a charity finance role, who has experience or knowledge of all the core accounts department processes and some understanding of different charity income streams. Role responsibilities

Financial Administration
• Maintain efficient and accurate computerised financial accounts & bookkeeping records (the organisation currently uses SAGE) including the upkeep of the records management with regular reconciliation activity according to standard processes.
• Receive and process invoices for payments to/ from suppliers.
• Record income from users, supporters, donors, members etc and maintain up to date records of income received.
