ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Recovery Worker to join our women's only refuge in Hove. The service supports 18 women with a trauma informed approach using a psychologically informed environment model to provide high quality, person centred support to all our residents.
You will support with a range of frontline care and support activities within the service, in a varied role. You will work towards supporting residents/participants to achieve their desired goals/outcomes, and will ensure all residents/participants understand and have the right tools and resources for positive outcomes. You will also develop, participate in, and encourage residents/participants to participate in the running of activities, projects and events. There will be a focus on risk assessments and management, as well as housing and property management.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rota. This may include shifts between Monday to Friday 10:00 - 18:00, 08:00 - 16:00 and 14:30 - 22:00. You will be based on site.

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support residents to achieve their desired goals/outcomes in various ways for example: contribute and develop support plans, risk assessments, reviews, case meetings.
- Ensure service responsibilities and requirements are carried out effectively. For example welfare checks, risk assessments, support sessions, safeguarding checks, training and development.
- Develop, participate in, and encourage residents/participants to participate in the running and development of various projects and activities.
- Empower residents/participants to make decisions to take control over their lives, by creating an enabling environment.
- Complete safeguarding and other referrals when required.
- Support named residents/participants with various individual needs as required.
- Work flexibility in working patterns and duties, responding to the needs of the service, team, and residents/participants.
- Carry out strengths-based assessments of need and risk and deliver holistic support and risk management plans, enabling residents/participants to achieve their aspirations and keep themselves safe.

Working in the Procurement and Programme Management Office, the Project Support Officer role will provide administrative support to the delivery of the charity's portfolio of programme and projects and business operations activity

The Role
The Project Support Officer will provide administrative support to the charitys portfolio of programs and projects.
You will assist in the coordination of internal and external programs, applying effective project management methodologies.
The role involves supporting the commissioning process, including the creation of business cases and assessment of bids.
The Project Support Officer will also be responsible for contract management and evaluation of externally commissioned activities.
They will facilitate the involvement of people with Lived Experience of Gambling Harms in shaping the organisations work.
Secretariat support will be provided to advisory panels, program boards, and steering groups.
The role includes organising and delivering events, seminars, and workshops.
You will ill develop and maintain relationships with delivery partners and external stakeholders.
The Candidate
The essential knowledge and experience required for the role include understanding project management methodology, producing project documentation, providing customer care, and setting up processes.
The required skills and abilities include the ability to work on multiple projects, excellent IT skills, effective communication, and the ability to build strong relationships.
Desirable qualifications include PRINCE2, Agile Project Management, and Managing Successful Programmes.

As a Debt, Benefits and Money Adviser, you will provide a comprehensive community-based debt advice service to beneficiaries who are experiencing difficulties, advising on their legal position and all the suitable options available through a mixture of face-to-face, telephone and email interactions.
In addition, you will carry out income maximisation through identifying and advising on benefit entitlement, and the take up of appropriate benefits. There is an expectation you will also deliver specialist level welfare benefits casework including the preparation of written submissions and representation at appeal tribunals. To achieve this, full training and coaching is provided with an expectation to complete the training framework and sign off process within two years of appointment.
The role is home based with occasional travel required throughout Belfast and Northern Ireland. This includes travel to home visits and tribunal locations. In addition, travel to team meetings and training, usually in London, is required. We do cover travel expenses.
Living within the Belfast area or in commutable distance to the area is essential in being able to undertake this role.
This position is also subject to pre-employment checks including an Enhanced DBS check.

We are looking for an organised and creative Project Manager to coordinate our ongoing multi-million pound appeal. The campaign is funding specialist nurses and therapists for Parkinson’s, making a huge difference to the lives of people living with the condition. Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological condition, and this work is one of the charity’s top strategic priorities for 2024 and 2025 and a crucial fundraising and communications priority.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with fundraising and communications teams across the charity, including Philanthropy, Trusts, Commercial Partnerships and Special Events, with a growing focus on Individual Giving, Events, Community and Supporter Experience as the appeal builds momentum.
We’re looking for someone who has successfully managed diverse projects, and also has experience of working in one or more of these fundraising disciplines to ensure they can hit the ground running. We’re keen to hear from people who have a proactive and problem-solving approach, and who enjoy working with lots of different people and on varied topics.
The role will join an ambitious and supportive team coordinating projects across fundraising, and will benefit from flexible working conditions and the can-do attitude that runs through Parkinson’s UK’s Fundraising and Experience directorate. The Role
Ensure the meaningful engagement and involvement of people with Lived Experience across the originations work
Lead the coordination of the charitys Lived Experience Council, ensuring members are well supported and related policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
Lead the coordination of and reporting on Restricted Funds to external bodies, working closely with the Finance team
Deliver transparent and accurate reporting on programmes
Maintain/oversee the delivery of accurate programme Control Logs
Ensure continuous improvement in planning and performance at the charity and ensure tools and templates meet the correct needs and are embedded into delivery
Accountable for ensuring programme plans consider the required governance gateways and suitable lead times for the any procurement and engagement activities
Liaise with the finance team to provide accurate reporting on programme budgets Programme Boards, the Senior Leadership team, Committees and external partners

Our service is commissioned by Norfolk and Waveney ICB to provide support and advice, resources and signposting to parents/carers of children or young people awaiting assessment for Autism or ADHD.

Your impact – For families awaiting assessment for Autism / ADHD in the area, to offer individual or virtual (via zoom or teams) telephone support to include giving information, advice and guidance, signposting, referring to other agencies as appropriate, attending relevant family support meetings. This may also include occasional home visits.
Facilitating support groups for families awaiting assessment for ASD/ADHD in the area. Co-production of parent-led groups and parent forums, co-facilitating courses for parents/carers such as the 3 week Plan Bee course.
Working with the co-ordinator to develop relationships with schools, pre-schools, children’s health services and children’s social services and, in particular, NCHC Neurodevelopmental Teams to provide co-ordinated support to families.
Your skills - To join us as Family Support Worker you will have experience of working or volunteering with families in the community. A relevant qualification in child and family work is desirable. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in using IT to deliver support, record casework, write reports and input data.
You’ll be an effective communicator who excels at building trusting and empowering relationships with individuals. You will be compassionate and empathic, with a good understanding of child development and in particular of Autism and ADHD and the impact this can have on children and their families. Experience of delivering evidence-based programmes for parents and/or of facilitating group work. Committed and willing to promote inclusion and equality of opportunity for all.
