We seek an experienced professional with strong inter-personal skills and integrity who can travel throughout North Wales. This is a newly created role, to ensure that EU citizens in North Wales secure their immigration status under the EU Settlement Scheme and understand and access the rights and services which come with that status.
You will reach out and build diverse partnerships throughout all parts of North Wales so that the most isolated and vulnerable EU citizens receive good quality information and advice services, and expand provision of new face to face advice services in community venues.
This post is funded by the Welsh Government and the postholder will be expected to meet requirements and demonstrate results as agreed with the Welsh Government. Historically, North Wales has had less immigration advice provision than South Wales so this role is part of an important effort to address this imbalance and provide the EU communities of North Wales with a more accessible service.

The Role
In this role you will be one of the Governance Officers responsible for ensuring excellent service to our Council, Board and Committees. This will include:
* drafting agendas, minutes, workplans and action lists
* collating and distributing meeting materials electronically, and
* assisting with the appointment and reappointment processes for committee members and committee chairs and other governance projects.
Within the Governance team your role is likely to consist primarily in providing a secretariat service to a portfolio of sub-committees of the Board and/or sub-committees of Council covering a range of matters central to the work of the Law Society and our relationship with the profession and wider stakeholders.
Governance Officers also cover for one another on an ad-hoc basis during periods of annual leave or sickness.

You will have proven experience of working in a governance or related role and understanding of how a successful governance team operates.
You must have excellent minute-taking skills coupled with excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work flexibly in response to changing priorities.
You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with sometimes demanding individuals and competing priorities and high level of attention to detail.

As part of our Global Fundraising Team, the Individual Giving Officer will support the delivery of our individual giving programme for UK and US audiences. You will provide one-off advice, information and support over the phone and via web-chat linking survivors with support that is right for them. The work is delivered through a commitment to an anti-oppressive, feminist framework that strives to address additional barriers and meet the diverse range of survivors needs, understanding the specific support needs of each survivor. We are passionate about social justice and being part of dismantling systems and structures which oppress survivors. These posts play a key part in helping us identify current issues affecting survivors in London and opportunities for change.

Safe Passage International (SPI) is recruiting an Arrivals and Social Support Worker to support to continuing and sustainable growth in our ground-breaking work to ensure that safe routes to sanctuary exist for all people seeking asylum, and that the young people and families we work with have dignity and safety on arrival.
This Arrivals and Social Support Worker will work with young people and families to support them in their reunification and arrival to the UK. This legal casework is facilitated by our UK Legal Team and covers a range of geographic regions inside and outside of Europe, including responding to emerging crises such as working to support people fleeing Afghanistan, Ukraine, Sudan and Palestine.
Reunification and resettlement is a difficult process. This role will involve conducting pre-arrival needs assessments, preparing the family for the reunification, and supporting them after they arrive in the UK. The Arrivals and Social Support Worker will also help young people and families transition into their new life, by supporting them with the practical and emotional aspects of resettling in the UK. You will work with the family and professionals and act as a bridge into longer term services and support. This role will also provide social support on a case-by-case basis for others in vulnerable situations, including family members pre-arrival, as well as to those on our Young Leaders Programme. This is a challenging and extremely rewarding role for candidates with a good understanding of the challenges young people and refugees face on arrival to the UK.
We are looking for candidates with strong social support skills, as detailed in the Person Specification. Experience in a similar role would be welcome, but this could also be your first paid position in the charity sector, or you could be returning to work after time out. As a Caseworker you will work with young women (18-30) who have experienced any form of violence against women and girls (VAWG), providing medium and long-term practical, emotional and advocacy support. You will amplify young women’s voices and create a non-judgemental and creative space where survivors are free to be their authentic selves, safely explore their rights, options and impact of their experiences, and make informed choices about their future. You will manage a caseload of young women, as well as lead in delivering our one-off drop-in specialist practical support to sessions to young women as part of the Voice and Choice Project.

The Role Within Unseen
Unseen provides support to people who have experienced Modern Slavery and Human trafficking and actively champions capturing voices in our work and providing development opportunities for those we are working with. Unseen also engages with a range of external partners to promote and facilitate person-centered and survivor informed responses to exploitation.
We develop evidence-based research and policy recommendations that are built from our support and collaboration work with survivors, key statutory service partners and NGOs. The Policy & Partnerships Officer will support the Policy & Research work of the organisation and support in the coordination of the Southwest Anti-Slavery Partnership to ensure delivery of real and tangible benefits for everyone involved, especially potential victims and survivors.
Purpose of the role
The Policy & Partnerships Officer will support in the delivery of Policy & Research projects and the collation of lived experience voices into our research work. You will work closely with the Policy & Partnerships Manager, the Survivor Involvement Coordinator, Senior Caseworkers and Unseen’s Survivor Consultant Volunteers and be responsible for the survivor consultant focus groups.
You will also support the Policy & Partnerships Manager in the coordination of the Southwest Anti-Slavery Partnership. How this role fits into the vision and objectives of Causeway
This is an exciting role that requires high levels of competence in administration, communication and collaboration. The role is to provide personal administrative support to the CEO and SLT and be the first point of contact for external enquiries to the Charity; Helping to maintain high service standards, contractual obligations and to aid effective communication throughout the charity. The role covers a broad range of activities across all areas of Causeway. To be successful in this role, you should be well organised, have great time management skills and be able to act under your own initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the CEO’s schedule, appointments and travel arrangements
- Assist the CEO in collation and submission of their expense claims.
- Conduct research as required to prepare the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) for key meetings ensuring they are adequately briefed.
- Co-ordinate and arrange the fortnightly Senior Management Team (SMT) meetings and any additional SMT meetings that may be required.
- Co-ordinate and arrange the Board of Trustees annual meeting schedule.
- Co-ordinate and arrange Board Subcommittee meetings and any exceptional meetings that may need to be called for governance purposes.
- Provide minute taking and administrative support to Senior Management Team meetings
- Provide minute taking and administrative support to Trustee meetings and supporting committees, including co-ordinating the agenda setting process, collation of papers and liaison with the Chair of the Board and Company Secretary.
- Review and process any Trustee expenses incurred due to meeting and event attendance.
- Answer and manage all incoming enquiries on the Causeway external phone line and information@ email address.
- Liaise with the SMT and wider team to ensure all incoming enquiries are responded to and actioned accordingly.
- Support the COO in the monitoring and evaluation of service information, through the collation of quarterly data across all departments.
- Support the COO in the wider service improvement agenda through the production of project management templates and data monitoring.
- Where necessary, provide administrative support to the SLT in the gathering of case studies or data for the purpose of report production for external stakeholders such as commissioning bodies.
- Support the SLT in working groups/service projects through administrative support and action logging within project meetings.
- Any other duties that are commensurate with the role.

Actual salary: £14,583.47
Hours: Part time 20 hours (over 3 days per week) to include evening

Main purpose of the post:
• To provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic violence and abuse (DVA), including crisis intervention, through both face to face and telephone support.
• To develop individual support plans which address the risk of harm, and to offer information, advocacy and signposting to survivors on a risk/need led basis.
• To support and empower survivors, thereby increasing self-esteem and reducing isolation.
MUST hold an IDVA qualification.

• Commitment to providing talking therapies to women whose first language is not English, primarily through recruitment of multi-lingual trainee and volunteer counsellors.
