About the role
As the Senior Regulatory Officer, you will be primarily responsible for the supervision work of the Standards Directorate. However, due to the flexible approach adopted by the Directorate, you will also be expected to adapt to changing priorities and undertake work across different areas within the Directorate as required, subject to capacity and work demands.
The Senior Regulatory Officer's key responsibilities will be to:
* Gather and analyse information to support the assessment of risk.
* Conduct supervision visits, approximately 5-6 per year, to monitor and ensure training providers comply with our regulations.
* Work with our team of external examiners, who oversee the standards of assessments set by the Bar course providers.
* Conduct thematic reviews on areas of focus in our strategic plans.
* Work closely with colleagues on areas of regulatory policy development.
* Respond promptly and effectively to reports to the organisation from stakeholders including barristers, pupils, members of the public and other regulators, related to risk and compliance matters.

Role Profile
You’ll work in a multifunctional, three person project team alongside a Digital Strategy Manager and Digital Creative Expert. The three of you will cover everything needed to execute your projects, coordinating with our technology team and working with external design capacity to deliver outstanding results for your partners, and renew and grow your partnerships.
The teams are designed to be flexible and nimble, chopping and changing who does what to best meet the needs of the project and the capacity of each team member. However, each role has a set of primary areas of expertise which you’ll typically be in charge of on most projects. Benefits and location
Salary: £34,162 if you live inside London, £30,502 (plus £3,000 travel expense allowance) if you live outside London. Under our Employee Ownership Trust model, all team members will also receive an equal share of the profits each year. The amount will depend on how much profit is made.
Contract Term: This is a permanent, full time contract.
Hours: We work a 30-hour 4-day week, from Monday to Thursday. Please note - as this is a full time role, you are not permitted to undertake any additional regular paid work on the Friday.
Location: You can work remotely from anywhere in the UK or use our office in London Fields, East London. Nacro is a national Social Justice Charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives, building stronger communities, and working with stakeholders towards reducing crime.
Nacro deliver the Community Accommodation Support service (CAS) which is a national service across England and Wales. The service allows Courts to make greater use of bail by providing accommodation in the community with support for adult defendants who could not otherwise be bailed. CAS also provides support for adults released from Custody in the last three months of their sentence on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) and other Licence Orders.
The Team provides flexible and holistic support to Residents who have a wide range of support needs. We aim to support our Residents to find and keep a stable home at the end of their CAS-2 placement. You will manage a caseload of Residents and properties in your allocated area.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·Support clients to comply with the requirements of their HDC/Bail conditions.
·Producing a realistic and achievable Support Plan to include accessing and using housing and accommodation services to support move on to longer term accommodation.
·Ensure that all Support Plans and Risk Assessments are unique, inclusive and person-centred.
·Provide weekly support to Residents to engage with their support plan and contribute to the achievement of their objectives and aspirations.
·Support Residents to access Housing Benefit in the first instance to ensure that their tenancy is not put at risk with escalating rent arrears.
·Manage properties within your area of responsibility to ensure they are being maintained to Decent Homes Standard by reporting repairs, and replacing furniture and equipment are required.
·Undertake basic cleaning tasks as required.

We’re a small team of 14 who are committed to growing user-centred design skills and best practice across the organisation.
We want someone with skills in both UX design and user research. The ideal candidate would have experience in roles such as UX Design, Interaction Design, and User Research.

Nacro deliver the Community Accommodation Support service (CAS) which is a national service across England and Wales. The service allows Courts to make greater use of bail by providing accommodation in the community with support for adult defendants who could not otherwise be bailed. CAS also provides support for adults released from Custody in the last three months of their sentence on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) and other Licence Orders
Who are we looking for?
·This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Service Lead to manage and lead a team of Support Workers to deliver high quality, effective supported housing services and housing management services to a range of service user groups (including those on Bail, prison leavers and those going through the criminal justice system) that meet their needs, contractual requirements, and organisational financial targets.
·You will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of support planning and safeguarding as well as experience of working with vulnerable adults with complex needs (such as substance misuse, physical health, mental health, seeking employment and housing support).
·We are looking for a Service Lead who is able to prioritise tasks effectively; ensuring their team are supported, Service Users needs are prioritised and contractual KPI’s are met. You will need to be adaptable and highly organised to balance your time. You will champion relationship mapping in your region, including developing links with supporting agencies, promoting BASS at external forums and being part of multi-agency meetings.
·You will have previous line management experience and the ability successfully lead and line manage a team. You will have excellent people skills, which will be inclusive of problem solving, and both written and verbal communication skills.
·The role offers flexible working in the community (visiting staff and properties), in the Northwest London region. The role includes lone working, you will meet with your team regularly to discuss complex cases. You will be required to travel for training and team meetings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
·Effectively lead and deliver services which comply with the regulatory framework.
·Meeting service quality standards and ensuring your team are adhering to all operational and policy standards. Be the accountable lead for the service.
·Ensuring all service user support and safety plans are in place, are in date and reflect individual needs.
·Ensuring your staff team understand and meet the agreed financial standards on voids, arrears and re-lets.
·Acting as a lead operational partner liaising with other agencies, partners and commissioners as required. Agreeing service level agreements with external agencies that can provide specialist support to your service and build and maintain effective working relationships both externally and internally.
·Work collaboratively with other internal support services –such as Quality, Policy and Safeguarding as well as Finance, IT and HR in order to ensure we are providing the best service to our users.
·Promoting service user involvement in service design and Delivery. Managing the rota and on-call arrangements to ensure that appropriate support is in place and participate in that rota.

The Opportunity
A 6-month work placement with a UK charity starting this November.
Trade commercial expertise for invaluable insights into charity structures, funding models, cultural nuances and gain tangible deliverables showcasing impact. The experience will deepen your understanding of the charity sector and the preferences of hiring managers.
These hybrid roles vary, but all require marketing experience. Salary is at the living wage at a minimum. £21,840 - £23,933 per annum. Roles are full time, with the option to discuss part-time. Locations vary across the UK and include Cardiff and London.

As a funding officer serving our North region, (Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Flintshire, Denbighshire Wrexham and North Powys) you will assess requests for funding and manage grants using local knowledge, best practice, thematic expertise, and the experience of customers and stakeholders to improve our grant making and inform our decision making. By working closely with people and communities, you will understand what matters to them and where our funding can make the biggest difference.
You will be responsible for supporting local people and communities in Anglesey, and have a strong understanding of our vision, being able to adapt your approach to the wishes of the people you are working with. You’ll also need to support our stakeholders, helping them to make connections that will help them achieve their goals.
You will be responsible for the pipeline of projects in Anglesey, understanding and responding to the different needs of our customers by providing advice and considered feedback, and be willing to have challenging but constructive conversations. Funding Officers will ensure our grant management and assessment play an effective part in contributing to the Fund’s knowledge and learning as a grant maker. You will manage your own caseload, liaise with grant recipients, undertake project visits, identify and manage risk, supporting organisations to deliver their projects and measure their impact.
The ability to communicate in Welsh fluently and confidently is essential for this role.
