About the role
As Dreamflight’s Fundraiser, you will play a pivotal role in growing our income streams, engaging individuals, community groups and corporate partners to support our mission. You’ll manage relationships, organise innovative events, and represent Dreamflight in the community.

We are seeking an Investment Development Director to join our team and support the scale-up of pionneering enterprises, developing scalable partnerships that will enable smallholder farmers to increase their income.
The successful candidate will build a pipeline of potential investments, structure deals and prepare proposals for scrutiny and approval, creating opportunities to invest in businesses that enable smallholder farmers (in Sub Saharan African and India) to earn a living income through productive uses of energy and/or the displacement of energy.
The role will require commercial acumen and technical investment skills; along with strong stakeholder management skills to identify new investment opportunities.
- Responsibilities include:
- Support the development and design of an end consumer financing model for smallholder farmers to access productive use energy solutions at low risk and minimum debt.
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities with organisations who reach smallholder farmers at scale.
- Identify business models and solutions that enable farmers to be more income resilient and potentially diversify their incomes.
- Support deal development and investment proposals that increase the incomes of smallholder farmers.
- Provide business advice and mentoring support towards the effective management and scale-up of a portfolio of strategic partners, working closely with partners and growing their businesses to achieve defined developmental and financial milestones and KPIs.
To be successful in this role you have experience working across India and/or Africa with organisations (including enterprises, intermediaries and or corporates) serving low-income consumers; with a preference on smallholder farmers. You will also bring:
- Experience in deal origination and writing investment proposals
- Proven and practical experience of a strong commercial acumen
- Networks and experience in the agriculture sector is preferred
- Experience working with complex projects requiring alignment of multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, including low-income consumers

The Role
Responsible for the processing of purchase invoices, ensuring correct approval processes have been followed.
Liaise directly with suppliers regarding invoice status and payment queries.
Reconciliation of supplier statements requesting any outstanding invoices and liaising with the wider team regarding management of purchase orders as required.
Ensure timely payment of invoices by reviewing the draft payment runs and making any amendments as necessary advising the Head of Finance of the value of the payment runs.

Bank restaurant and retail cash takings reconciling to underlying systems and following up any discrepancies with the appropriate operational area.
Banking of cheques received and journaling of receipts to the nominal ledgers as appropriate.
Reconciliation of credit card receipts and posting of ticket and car park income to the ledger ensuring all income is allocated to the correct account and is correctly coded.
The Candidate
AAT qualification or equivalent experience

We are seeking a new Head of Fundraising. An experienced fundraising professional to lead income generation for the Cathedral, focusing on ambitious capital projects and ongoing operations. You’ll manage the fundraising officer in developing a regular giving program and nurturing lasting donor relationships through personalised, multi-channel engagement. By inspiring support for the Cathedral’s vision, you’ll drive sustainable income while coordinating multiple fundraising agencies to align with the new fundraising strategy.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- A proven track record of securing 6 to 7 figure funding in grant, philanthropic and statutory grants environment
- Solid understanding and experience in legacy fundraising
- Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking to a variety of stakeholders
- Skilled at handling multiple diverse projects and tasks, effectively prioritising and working well under pressure.
- Understanding of, sympathy with and willingness to promote the aims and purposes of the Cathedral, its mission and ministry.

MLC are working with a renowned INGO based in London who are looking for their new Regional Finance Business Partner. A newly created position, the role joins a high performing team, with a clear focus on providing financial support and direction to the Indian region. You will be responsible for more than £6m of commercial income, helping to deliver growth to one of their fastest growing areas. Given the extensive contact with the local team, the postholder will need to speak fluent Hindi.
Main responsibilities include:
- Business partnering with the executive leadership team of the Indian programme, providing financial support and meaning to their numbers.
- Work with the wider UK finance team to deliver the monthly results pack, detailing the commercial performance of the global for-profit element.
- Act as a liaison between the country team and the UK-based legal and compliance teams on issues that are broader than just finance.
- Provide financial analysis for the regional team, adding context and insight to the financial performance vs business plans.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a fully qualified accountant with strong experience as a business partner, being able to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders.
- Ideally be a fluent Hindi speaker, as a minimum be able to communicate at a business conversational level.
- Have a commercial mindset, with previous experience in the private sector and the ability to work in a standalone role.

To achieve their mission they are looking for maternity cover for their Fundraising and Engagement Administrator role – a crucial role providing a solid foundation of support to the whole Fundraising team.
The Fundraising and Engagement Administrator will join Sight Scotland at an exciting stage, with a newly formed Cause and Engagement team, a new organisational strategy and direction, and a roadmap for fundraising planned. The charity is recruiting for 5 other fundraising roles alongside this maternity cover.
This role provides vital administrative support to the fundraising function. You will perform a variety of desk-based tasks ranging from regular banking, data entry and the opening of fundraising post to more ad-hoc tasks such as handling supporter enquiries and working with the fundraising team to support their calendar of activities and key priorities.
For this role, it is vital that interested candidates have experience using a fundraising database and are competent and capable handling financial data. Due to the importance of database management for this role, candidates who can't demonstrate experience using a CRM system to accurately input and review financial data will not be shortlisted.
This role will involve building relationships across teams to provide customer service, solve problems and spot opportunities for fundraising, so would suit a candidate who enjoys delivering amazing supporter experiences / customer service and speaking to colleagues and supporters face to face, on the phone and via email.
