This is a fantastic opportunity to transform Potteric Carr Nature Discovery Centre into a leading, welcoming visitor destination, ensuring exceptional standards of customer care, robust day-to-day operational procedures and a highly skilled and motivated team.
As a key driver of income generation, you will oversee retail, catering, and commercial activities, aiming to achieve ambitious profit-for-purpose goals that support Yorkshire’s wildlife and wild spaces. You will lead and inspire a visitor-focused team who strive to connect every visit to our pioneering wildlife conservation work across Yorkshire, boosting income and fostering greater support for Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Your experience will evidence a proven track record in identifying and delivering improvements that meet visitors’ needs alongside an understanding of implementing and managing commercial opportunities to create income generation. You will also bring managerial expertise from a professional background within the visitor or hospitality sector.
Within other organisations, this role might be titled Visitor Operations Manager, Visitor Services Manager, Visitor Experience Manager or Visitor Centre General Manager.

We have an exciting opportunity to join Bristol Animal Rescue Centre as an Individual Giving Officer.

Hours: Full or Part time. 35 hours per week to be worked during our office hours (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm). Part-time (minimum of 28 hours per week) will be considered.

About the role:
As Individual Giving Officer, you will focus on creating and managing fundraising campaigns aimed at securing donations from individual supporters. You will work to build and maintain relationships with current and potential supporters of Bristol Animal Rescue Centre, ensuring that they are engaged and motivated to contribute to our mission of helping, healing and homing Bristol’s most vulnerable pets.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for donor acquisition and retention, as well as managing communication with supporters through various channels such as direct mail, e-mail, social media and events.
You will be responsible for analysing the effectiveness of our fundraising initiatives, ensuring that targets are met, and identifying new opportunities for growth. You will collaborate with staff and volunteers across the charity to align individual giving strategies with broader organisational goals.
You will play a key role in ensuring that we provide our supporters with the best donor experience possible, where they feel valued and informed about the impact their donations are making.

Battersea is undergoing a significant transformation programme (known as Launchpad) to deliver real change in the way we work with, utilise, and learn from data. Our new approach will enable smoother animal, customer and supporter journeys and will help us embed a truly data and insight-driven approach to decision-making at Battersea. The first phase of the programme is to implement Salesforce Lightning as the organisations single CRM application.
With the programme underway, in the preparation for the first go live, this exciting role has been created within the new Data Applications team to ensure that all the system users are expertly supported.
This role, working within the Data Applications Team will initially contribute to the Launchpad programme by supporting training and UAT activity. Once the programme has been completed, this role will then be responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance needs for the new Salesforce Lightning CRM and other related applications as they are launched.

Overall objectives
- Provide efficient and effective support to Battersea’s CRM system users.
- Support the work of the wider Data Applications team and contribute to the design and delivery of effective system processes.
- Undertake various system housekeeping activities to ensure that the systems and data remain robust and accurate.
- Continuously look for areas of potential improvement to systems and processes and make recommendations where appropriate.

Are you a passionate and ambitious fundraiser looking to make a positive impact for wildlife in Yorkshire? Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is seeking an Individual Giving Manager to grow our individual giving programme. Sitting within the fundraising team you will lead on appeals, individual giving, donor stewardship events and the development of the existing mid-level and major donor programme. In this role you will collaborate closely with colleagues across the county to maximise income generation and share best practise.
The focus of the role is to generate fundraised income from individual donors including HNWI’s. You will develop and implement a portfolio of inspiring campaigns and appeals that aim to connect with our existing supporters, as well driving the acquisition of new supporters, particularly through regular giving. You will also grow our fundraising revenue, building a robust major donor prospect portfolio, forging meaningful connections with our existing and new donors and nurturing long term relationships. As a member of the fundraising team, you will collaborate with fellow fundraisers and the Head of Fundraising to shape, refine, and execute our fundraising strategy.
You will have a good understanding and knowledge of growing individual income streams, combined with a natural ability to collaborate across teams and enjoy creating new and exciting fundraising appeals and campaigns. Most importantly you must have a passion for fundraising and the ambition to grow income and increase donor recruitment and retention. This is a brilliant role for someone looking to further their experience in individual giving and work as a senior member of the fundraising team.
