About the Role

Reporting to our Operations Manager in the Investment Team this role plays an important part in supporting SIBs Investment Team in delivering funding programmes (grants and loans) to charities and social enterprises. As a member of the operations team the role will contribute to the efficient and effective running of the Investment Team.

The role holder will support the day-to-day delivery of funding programmes, including dealing with initial enquiries from our customers, providing support to our Relationship Managers (internal and external) throughout the customer journey, and providing administrative support to the team.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, organised, and has good attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and a desire to support our customers throughout their customer journey. We require someone who is able to manage a varied workload, and keen to contribute to the delivery of our funding programmes. 

Key responsibilities

1. Manage relevant email inboxes and respond to enquiries using guidance notes and signposting queries where relevant.

2. Generate, check, validate and send offer documents to customers.

3. Carry out subsidy and due diligence checks and maintain accurate records.

4. Work with the Operations and Relationship Managers to check and authorise payment requests, ensuring all conditions have been satisfied (grants team only).

5. Set up customer monitoring records, send monitoring requests, complete monitoring records and close grant/ loan cases (as required).

6. Carry out audit sampling of grant/ loan cases (as required).

7. Respond to requests for information and produce regular management information reports for the team.

8. Prepare, review and format reports and papers, including for Grant Panels and Senior Management Team.

9. Be responsible for the minutes of Grant Committees, recording decisions taken, pursue actions and report on matters arising (grants team only).

10. Keep customer Salesforce details (e.g. contact details) and SharePoint files and folders (e.g. bank details, signatories, end of grant report tracking) up to date and accurate (as required).

11. Keep fund Salesforce (e.g. reports) and SharePoint files and folders (e.g. fund information, guidance docs) up to date and accurate.  

12. Maintain administrative systems to support the on-going efficient and effective running of the team and ensure they are reviewed and updated if needed.

13. Provide administrative and other support to members of the team.

14. Support the operations team with the setup of new funds and the update of established fund policies, procedures and templates (as required).

15. Provide cover for the Operations Manager and the other Investment Team Assistant when they are on leave, and to provide cover for other operations team tasks as required.

16. Ensure that all work factors in customer needs and where possible improves the experience for them.

17. Work within the organisation's values, principles and processes to achieve operational excellence.

The role

We have recently set a new 3-year strategy, leading to a major transformation of the organisation. The Bromley by Bow Centre is working with East London Cardiovascular Prevention Group (ELoPE) to recruit a advisor/caseworker that will support social prescribing into secondary care by providing social welfare support to Barts Health patients.

The role will provide caseworker/advice support to people referred into the Centre’s Barts health Social Prescribing service. The role will focus on what matters to the individual and take a holistic approach providing casework level advice on welfare benefits, housing, debt and energy advice.

The caseworker/advisor will work with the social prescribing cardiovascular team and refer to agencies at a specialist level including immigration, legal advice and debt as well as support individuals to access a range of services and activities in their local communities.

The role will build collaborative relationships with the Cardiovascular Prevention Group (ELoPE), including social prescribers and support the delivery of social welfare advice training. This is to enable health professionals to identify and connect people experiencing hardship with the support they need to improve their circumstances and prevent problems developing into crisis.
The role will help shape the Bromley by Bow Centre’s Social Prescribing service so that it reflects the changing environment and helps reduce health inequalities locally.

Social welfare related matters are the main reason people access support from our Social Prescribing Cardiovascular team. We are therefore seeking an Advisor and Caseworker who will support the delivery of this exciting new project.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the People and Organisational Development (POD) team based in the charity’s head office. The Role

The Law Society of England and Wales is looking to recruit an experienced Member Engagement Manager to join our Membership Engagement & Services Team. Working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the role will be responsible for developing and co-ordinating the delivery of tailored membership services and engagement programmes that deliver increased awareness, take-up and satisfaction with the member offer. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying and developing ways to improve members' experiences and needs via our products and services.

What we're looking for

You will have proven experience of researching, analysing and acting on information about market and customer needs and issues to design and improve client / membership services and experiences. You will have substantial experience with producing a range of varied high-quality content and engagement programmes including leading the design and delivery of seminars, webinars, short videos, e-newsletters and other written materials and communications to large groups of clients / members. You will have excellent written and communication skills.

You will have a lot of intellectual curiosity and possess a growth mindset, can do attitude and collaborative approach. You will also have excellent project management and prioritisation skills. Individuals with strategic grasp, attention to detail and commercial understanding will excel in the role.

You will also have exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, in particular managing groups of stakeholders to deliver against a common goal.

Having an understanding of lawyers and having worked in legal practice is desirable.

The role 

We are seeking a Director of Business and Income Generation to join the team at an exciting and ambitious time for the hospice.

You will be a vital member of the St Richard’s Hospice Executive Team to lead the teams that generate our income and build and develop relationships across supporters, donors, fundraisers, customers, employees and volunteers.

You will develop, shape and deliver the Income Generation strategy to ensure:

· we grow sustainable income streams to underpin our services

· the people in Worcestershire know how they can offer their support to St Richard’s, helping us to ensure our care and support reaches more people in the future and is sustainable.

About You

You will be required to pro-actively identify where support is most needed and ensure Recovery Support Officers are effectively positioned to provide wrap around support and effective signposting to appropriate Recovery Pathways and Services. You will also be required to support at Recovery events, nationally and internationally where required, which may include extended periods away, weekends and out of hours support.

This will be a highly rewarding role and you will be fully supported in gaining a full understanding of Recovery Service Programmes and the pathways that are available to beneficiaries, both internally to RBL and externally.

Central to our ethos is our belief that people with first-hand experience of successfully overcoming issues such as an offending background, homelessness, addictions, and gang involvement, hold the key to positive change in others. 

St Giles in partnership with Leeds schools and the Area Inclusion Partnership (AIP) and the Leeds Safe Task Force is looking to appoint a team of Education Welfare and Inclusion Mentors to support the delivery of this exciting DfE sponsored programme across the city.  Candidates will model values and behaviours to help us to achieve the programme's ambition to support learning and engagement development for our identified cohort of children and young people who live in vulnerable contexts. 

About this pivotal role

Have you worked with socially excluded or challenging young people and other vulnerable groups? Do you have personal experience of gangs, knife crime or the other issues they face? Are you able to provide 1:1 mentoring support? Then join us as an Education Inclusion Mentor.

Working as an Education Welfare and Inclusion Mentor you will have relevant experience of successfully engaging and working with children and young people in an inclusive, relational and restorative capacity to secure positive outcomes. You will understand of the needs of vulnerable children and young people, the communities they live in and of how disadvantage can impact on learning and life chances.  We would actively encourage interest from candidates who reflect the diverse communities across Leeds.

As part of the team delivering this exciting new intervention, you will need to demonstrate that you have the ability to work flexibly, and at pace to meet appropriate deadlines with independence and be enthusiastic about working with a wide range of professional partners to bring about whole system change.

What we are looking for:

Our successful candidate will be embedded in a secondary school offering intensive one-to-one mentoring to young people who have been identified by their education setting as needing targeted support.

You will work closely with the education setting to prioritise safeguarding and contribute to a shared aim of reducing exclusions, reduce risky behaviour and raise aspirations.  

To secure this role:

• You must have a proven track record of engaging positively with young people, young offenders or other vulnerable groups, plus providing support, advocacy, and the ability to assess clients’ needs.
• Want to work in an embedded setting in schools. 
• Be able to establish positive and professional relationships with the children, young people, and professionals.
• Be able to build trust and create a safe space for children and young people in which to explore challenging and potentially traumatic issues and topics. 
• Have experience of providing 1:1 mentoring to young people.
• Be able to assist with providing monitoring information and the evaluation of the project. 
• Be able to represent the organisation externally as required. This includes the ability to embed yourself and work collaboratively with the partner schools and adapting to their culture.
