About the Team:
This role reports to the Leadership Development & Wellbeing Lead working as part of the Leadership & Employee Experience Team in the Global People Team. This team is responsible for facilitating high levels of performance across WaterAid, through the development of integrated leadership, learning, engagement and internal communications strategies.

About the Role:
As our strong learning thinking partner and designer you will analyse global learning needs and design excellent initiatives to equip us with the skills needed to achieve our global strategy. 

In this role, you will design and develop our global management development programme and approach as well as support the design and development of new global learning initiatives. 
 
You’ll also: 

• Manage our global induction approach, creating and updating guidance and resources to support a consistent induction experience for all WaterAiders at a local level.
  • Manage the design, guidance and resources of our senior leadership induction to ensure a consistency of experience and expectation across the global whole.
•  Support the development and design of WaterAid’s performance management approach and principles ensuring guidance and learning resources are available and shared with the global people network.
• Provide oversight of our e-learning provision, working with the Learning Hub manager and WAUK Learning Manager to ensure content is aligned to our strategic priorities and meeting the needs of the global whole.
• Provide tailored leadership, management and learning development approaches and senior team development initiatives to address identified priorities as agreed with the relevant stakeholder/business partner. 
• Pro-actively maintain expert knowledge about latest trends in learning and management development and use this to support the creation of impactful programmes and approaches aligned to organisational priorities.

About You:

• Be a credible advisor able to build trusting relationships and be a thinking partner 
• Be an excellent designer with an ability to design creative and engaging learning solutions that deliver on the defined need and desired outcomes.
• Be skilled at identifying and analysing needs, developing relevant approaches and evaluating effectiveness.
• Have expert knowledge and experience of learning and management development approaches and practice.
• Have experience of partnering with third parties to design and deliver learning interventions.
• Have experience of working globally, with an appreciation of cultural differences and of the difference this makes to learning styles and ways of working
• Have strong coaching and mentoring skills with an approach that builds capacity rather than dependency.
• Have project management experience, managing learning projects from end to end.
• Be a team player, able to work in a collaborative way, with flexibility and resourcefulness.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Experience of learning management systems
• The ability to facilitate and/or coach in other languages, particularly French, Spanish or Portuguese would be an advantage.
• HR or Learning and development qualifications, Coaching & Mentoring certification, psychometric assessments etc.

Key Duties:

Lead work on providing an information service for Healthwatch Camden, helping to ensure that it is readily accessible and can effectively direct people to the support or advice they need to access services or make choices about services.

-Lead on providing information to residents via our phone and emails, signposting and offering advice where available.

-Assisting projects and events formed by the Projects Lead and Engagement Lead.

-Ensure that our information resources are up to date and user-friendly.

-Take minutes and notes from Healthwatch Camden board and team meetings. 

-Work with colleagues to plan and use appropriate approaches to evidence gathering and to brief and support volunteers.

-Engage in local health events supporting our outreach officer, spreading news about what we do, offering information to the community. 

-Support our research projects, conducting interviews, supporting edits, and recording and transcription of interviews and focus groups.

Conditions of service (summary)

Healthwatch Camden is committed to promoting equality in all aspects of

Annual leave entitlement is pro rata from 25 days’ a year (approximately 15 days). Sick leave entitlement depends on length of service, to a maximum of four weeks’ a year.

his role delivers one to one case work including ongoing support to resolve both immediate and crisis situations, in the main relating to welfare benefits, referring to appropriate support agencies and other ICCM services promoting a multiagency approach. The aim of the service is to empower people through access to appropriate support services and improve quality of life, health and wellbeing.

· Delivering client focused, culturally appropriate support services for the benefit of members of the Irish community in Manchester on an appointment office basis, drop in service, and on outreach for those with mobility issues facilitating access to mainstream health, housing, education and employment services.

• To provide support to members of the Irish community who are vulnerable through age, poor physical or mental health, homelessness, risk of homelessness, drug/alcohol use, offending, hate crime, social and cultural isolation etc.

About the role

The Regional Supply Chain Operations Manager (RSCOM)2 is part of the Programme Supply Chain (PSC) team. This role supports programme teams and Country Offices (COs) in supply chain management and compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

The RSCOM 2 WARO position is field-based and works with other regional roles to provide support to the Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ghana, and Liberia COs. This includes helping with planning, procurement, logistics, and custom clearance, ensuring adherence to PSC, Quality Management System (QMS), and GDP operating standards.

The goal is to build the capacity of COs in procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring Sightsavers’ programmes and COs are well-resourced and risks to the organization’s reputation are managed.

Principal Accountabilities

• Understand Sightsavers’ operating models and PSC requirements, focusing on planning, GDP standards, and best practices across WARO COs.
• Collaborate with the Controller PSC and other RSCOMs to support WARO COs and programme teams in planning, procurement, and supply chain management.
• Assist WARO COs in applying the PSC system and QMS, understanding UK regulations for WDA (H) licence, GDP guidelines, and national regulations.
• Develop solutions for programme supply chain management at CO and field levels, providing expert advice to resolve supply chain issues.

Pivot (Home from Hospital)

Pivot (Home from Hospital) is delivered as part of the Pembrokeshire Integrated Assisted Discharge Partnership commissioned by the Hywel Dda University Health Board. The service aims to support people’s discharge from the hospital and prevent unnecessary readmittance. It also supports people to either remain in or return to their own homes, where evidence shows they are most likely to make the best recovery and retain their independence for longer.

As part of the wider partnership, Volunteering Matters recruits and places volunteers to provide short-term practical support to individuals in their homes, for example, providing help with shopping, light cleaning, or befriending, etc., and we are now looking for two dynamic Engagement Manager to join our local team. The role will involve recruiting, onboarding and supporting a local bank of volunteers, whilst managing referrals into the scheme, having ‘What Matters’ conversations with service users and coordinating a matching process so that people get the timely help they need. You will also get the opportunity to take part in other volunteering projects across the area. 3. Engage with service users to conduct a “What Matters” conversation and develop individual support plans
4. Management of the matching/placement of volunteers, risk assessing the volunteers and planned activities, and monitoring and supporting the match throughout.
5. Maintain good record keeping, ensuring that evidence and impact data is collected so that we can monitor progress against outcomes
6. Promote the project through a range of techniques, instigating interest in volunteering and encouraging engagement.
7. Maintain effective relationships with volunteers, service users, colleagues and project partners.
8. Prepare reports to the Project Manager, based on agreed outputs and targets.
9. Risk assess all activities, ensuring that they are regularly reviewed and amended if circumstances change.
10. Contribute to joint working and teamwork across Volunteering Matters and the Home from Hospital team.
