The person in this role is expected to have formal training in graphic design, experience of developing high quality digital and print graphics and content for social media. Skills in animation, motion graphics and illustration are not required but are desirable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce high quality and visually engaging graphics for use on AKF’s website and social media channels as well as for printed collateral
• Design info-graphics to bring data to life for use across AKF’s various communications products
• Support the communications team to develop creative and engaging content for digital media
• Update AKF’s brand guidelines to ensure they encompass all of AKF’s design touchpoints and ensure communications colleagues know how to apply the guidelines
• Ensure all designs align with the AKF’s branding guidelines and messaging. This includes maintaining a consistent use of colours, fonts, images, and tone across all material
• Update social media templates to enrich AKF’s storytelling across Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook
• Update AKF’s PowerPoint, Word and InDesign templates to ensure staff across the organisation have the tools to create high quality on-brand products
• Support Partnerships and Programme teams to develop high quality presentations and reports for institutional donor engagement
• Organise and maintain a library of images, logos, and related assets
• Coordinate with external vendors for printing, publishing, or other services, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the final products
• Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, and continually develop your skills and knowledge in these fields

Required qualifications and skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in graphic design and 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience of working in a reputable branding and/or design studio or marketing agency
• High standards for the accuracy and quality of communications and marketing materials
• Organisational skills, including the ability to effectively and nimbly manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A drive to learn, problem-solve, and troubleshoot both independently and collaboratively
• Expertise in the use of graphics, video and animation software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, the broader Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Figma
• Experience of using Wordpress to upload rich and engaging content

What is the role?
We are looking for a People Services Manager based in Winchester, at our Central Office. The role will develop and improve our People services and processes throughout every stage of a colleague's life.
The role will enable our People team to be more efficient and effective. Including recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining colleague data, it will also involve investigating and addressing discipline and grievance issues. The role will cover tracking every detail about our colleagues while they are at Brendoncare, including processing colleagues' careers and pay changes.

You will be the first point of contact inside and outside the organisation. You will handle all people-related systems. You will also work with second and third-tier support providers for Colleagues and Brendoncare as needed.
Who are you?
You will have experience in one or more HR functions. These include recruitment, ER, learning and development, and operations. Or, they can be operational Customer Services/experience roles. For example, in a call centre or payroll. You must also have managed a team. Ideally, in one or more of the above functions.
You need to be a competent and confident system user, ideally within HR. You also need a strong background in process design and flow improvement. This includes system integration and data management expertise.
You will be confident in making decisions and prioritising. You can influence and manage stakeholders. You will have strong delegation skills. You will be confident in your ability to empower others to reach their potential.

The West Yorkshire team is based in central Leeds offices however, there is the opportunity for hybrid/remote working. The job is a full-time, position with frequent travel required across the West Yorkshire Region to deliver tuition. All reasonable travel expenses on Tutor Trust business will be reimbursed (not including your regular commute from home to the Tutor Trust office).
Holiday entitlement will be 33 days per annum (inclusive of Bank Holidays, pro rata). The role will involve working occasional unsocial hours in the evenings and at weekends.

- A minimum of a master's degree in the environment or climate-related studies, such as environmental studies/water resource management, climate science, or another relevant technical field.
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in climate change, sustainable development, capacity building and WASH-related programmes for developing countries is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in working to strengthen elements of WASH systems and understanding of WASH interaction with other systems such as climate change and programme/project development and management in any INGOs or organization.
- Excellent understanding and experience in National Adaptation Planning (NAP) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) revision and implementation

About Us
School of Hard Knocks (SOHK) is a charity that exists to empower and support individuals who are living in complex and challenging circumstances. By fostering an environment of genuine acceptance and through the use of physical activity (rugby training) and group and one-to-one support sessions, SOHK enables young people to succeed in their education and reach their potential. All of SOHK's activities are underpinned by an evidence-based sport for development framework called the 5Cs.
Overview
SOHK will soon launch its new and ambitious organisational strategy to drive growth and impact. We want to reach and support more young people at a key point in their adolescence and help them to reach their potential. To achieve this, we need to increase our reach to new audiences and convert more people into donors. We also need to optimise our communications to existing audiences; from young people on our courses and their educational professionals to prospect partners and donors.
This role is key to the success of our growth fundraising strategy that will see us double our income. To achieve this we need to optimise our branding, develop new marketing channels and grow our reach. We are looking for someone as ambitious as we are, and willing to help move our charity into the next stage of our development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the Marketing & Communications strategy. Work with the Director of Fundraising and Marketing Consultant to contribute to the development of the the Marketing and Communications Strategy. Lead the delivery of the strategy, track progress and report risks and opportunities to senior leadership team.
- Brand management and development. Maintain and evolve the charity's brand identity. Ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Social media management. Plan, schedule and create content for multiple channels. Ensure timely publication and distribution of content. Develop and manage social media content and campaigns. Monitor social media engagement and analytics to refine campaigns.
- Digital marketing. Lead the development of all digital marketing to achieve audience reach and income targets.
- Analytics & analysis. Track and analyse the performance of campaigns by monitoring relevant analytics. Use data to adjust strategies and improve outcomes. Conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure we maximise reach. Develop routine end of campaign analytical reviews and reports.
- Stakeholder Engagement. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including ambassadors and celebrity patrons, providing them with all the assets and materials they need. Develop strategies for stakeholder communication and engagement. Work with partners to create mutually beneficial communications strategies.
- MarComms Advisory Panel Engagement. Engage with our voluntary MarComms Advisory Panel of experts to maximise success of our strategy.
- Graphic Design. Using design software, create promotional and programme delivery materials such as brochures, posters, challenge event packs and social media graphics in line with brand guidelines. Create visual content for all digital platforms.
- Video Content Creation. Conduct interviews with beneficiaries on camera to capture their stories. Edit video footage optimising for use in large-scale event films and for social media content. Develop engaging video content to promote the charity's mission and activities.
- Copywriting & Copy Editing. Write and edit inspiring and engaging content for various digital platforms including website, e-newsletters, and social media. Develop compelling stories and case studies to highlight the charity's impact. Write press releases where appropriate and quarterly ‘Supporter Updates’ for major donors.
- Website Management. Oversee the development of a new website. Update and maintain the charity's website content in line with best SEO practice. Ensure integrations are working correctly i.e. website is correctly integrated with Zapier and is pulling through subscribers to Mailchimp.
- Internal Communications. Develop engaging staff communications and opportunities to share successes and drive motivation amongst staff. Seek new opportunities to share information team-wide.
- Integrated digital processes. Maximise efficiency by building integrated digital systems and processes wherever possible.

Job Purpose:
As a key member of the area team, your role is to coordinate and provide operational support to our shops within a defined geographical area. This role is a fantastic stretch opportunity for those with shop manager experience, serving as a potential stepping stone toward an area manager role.
The role will support shop cover in our Oxfam shop network across North East London. This includes Oxfam Shops in the region bordered by Muswell Hill, South Woodford, Wanstead, Victoria, and Marylebone. There are 2 positions available, and each individual will be responsible for covering half of this area, although they may be required to cross into each other's zones occasionally as needed. Whilst travel expenses will be covered, candidates will need to be both willing and able to commit to extensive travel across this defined geographic region.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain inclusive, respectful, and safe environments in the shops.

Job Title: Global Press & PR Manager

Part 1: Role Purpose:
The Global Press & PR Manager will play a vital role in growing awareness and exposure of Street Child, working with journalists, editors and media houses to build a consistent and pro-active media presence. Street Child’s Global MMC team is fully integrated into the whole organisation and our primary aim is to raise awareness of Street Child and act as a force-multiplier for fundraising efforts.
The role will explore new media relationships and re-ignite existing contacts, turbo-charging the value press and media generates for Street Child.
This is a role for a high-class media professional with a passion for our mission, great energy, imaginations and fantastic relationship building skills. This role requires an individual who will be based in our London office for a minimum of three days a week.
Tasks include delivering media coverage across global outlets, supporting the delivery of media training and briefings and the management/development of Street Child’s podcast.
Part 2: Key Responsibilities:
Delivering global media coverage (80%):
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with journalists across a range of broadcast, print and digital media outlets, looking beyond mainstream media to deliver global reach.
- Writing and publishing compelling, engaging press releases
- Manage and deliver media coverage on key campaigns and initiatives
- Support on the delivery of media briefings, including for the CEO, where required
- Lead and deliver PR campaigns, including influencer activations and activity
- Support the planning and management of overseas and UK trips for the purpose of generating coverage and content, often with journalists or high-profile supporters

The role:

The New Business Manager role will play a key role in leading our New Business activity outside of our existing portfolio. Reporting to our recently appointed Senior Manager for Partnership and New Business, your role will involve:

Working directly into the Director of Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising the position will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic partnership delivery and fundraising events function for the Street Child/Liberty Global partnership, for which Liberty Global won 'Business of the Year' in the 2021 Third Sector Business Charity Awards. Experience of gambling support and treatment and/or harm minimisation programmes is desirable, but not essential.
Working with other members of the Senior Management Team, they will input into the management of the charity, as well as supporting grant, contract and tender submissions, operational management, governance, performance and contract monitoring and outcome reporting. This will include financial planning and budgeting.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Development and Delivery
- Manage the strategic and operational performance of services to agreed standards and targets with the Director of Support Services and CEO.
- Provide management oversight to service teams and ensure the activities they are leading on are delivered to set quality and outcomes, that they are safe and operate in positive environments, and adequately supervised, monitored, audited and reviewed.
- Provide management oversight to the charity’s portfolio of programmes and projects, including those within the National Gambling Support Network (NGSN)
- Ensure strategic & performance coverage of all areas of service delivery outlined in the services’ SLAs.
- Review service delivery and implement necessary changes, to ensure high quality service, reflecting best practice and clear impact for all service users.
- Conduct regular supervision with staff and service users about service effectiveness and maximise client involvement in service design and development.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Produce a monthly service review, linked to the charity’s strategy and business plan.
- Manage monitoring and evaluation framework and oversee CMS/CRM systems.
- Liaise with external support networks, such as universities and research organisations, to aid data management requirements.
Line Management
- Ensure staff are recruited, supervised and developed in accordance with Betknowmore UK systems and processes, in particular annual planning and review and objective setting.
- Support the provision of staff training to the highest standard and in accordance with Betknowmore quality assurance standards
- Provide HR support and on-going staff line management.
- Liaise with Clinical Supervisor to ensure staff have adequate support and resources.
- Contribute to the development of services knowledge and practice, by keeping up to date with current research and practice and ensuring that the clinical and support approach of the teams reflects such current information as appropriate.
Partnerships Building and Collaboration
- Develop our operational and strategic relationship with external partners and stakeholders to maximise the success and impact of Betknowmore UK services.
- Co-ordinate Betknowmore UK contribution to service-related networks ensuring attendance at relevant operational and strategic meetings and provide feedback and sharing of information.
- Represent the organisation at events, webinars and other meetings to inform service development and promote best practice in service delivery.
Financial Management
- Oversee budgets and expenditure related to the services and help meet targets.
- Provide oversight to petty cash and day to day expenses.
- Assist with other fundraising associated with service development as agreed with Senior Management Team.
Health and Safety Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff, clients and other beneficiaries is intact.
- Oversee Betknowmore UK premises and risk assess external sites, ensuring all working environments work correctly to policies and procedures.
- Ensure that Betknowmore UK Diversity and Equality policies are upheld.
General
- Attend regular supervision sessions with the Director of Support Services.
- To operate with clear professional & confidentiality boundaries to work within the organisations code of conduct.
- To carry out other duties commensurate with the post.

Qualifications or Relevant Experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development relevant to the role purpose and level
- Two years minimum experience in a similar role
Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of mental health or drug, alcohol or gambling support and recovery services
- Ability to manage complex support and training services
- Experience of establishing a positive recovery culture, aiding sustainable behavioural change
- Experience of working with complex addiction and/or high support needs service users (group and 1:1 work)
- Experience of safeguarding lead and procedures
- Demonstrable track record of achieving successful outcomes and performance indicators at management level in a comparable national/ international organisation
- Good understanding of IT applications and database
- Commitment to continuous learning and development
- Experience of multi-agency working and maintaining positive relationships
- Ability to work with service users with multiple needs across diverse/emerging communities.
- Experience in helping people to acquire life-skills including budgeting, healthy life choices, employment/education advice
- Commitment to the charity’s principles and willingness to work within policies and guidelines
- Be able to organise and prioritise your work working as part of a team or by yourself
- An understanding of the principles of user involvement
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to keep accurate records

This role focusses on great thanking and donor stewardship whilst supporting the “twin” role, Supporter Care Coordinator (Data), which focusses more on financial processes and data entry.
Working closely with the Head of Individual Giving and the other Supporter Care Coordinator (Data), you will ensure that the way we manage thanking and donor queries is superb and that our data is the essential foundation to our high-quality fundraising and help us to create long term relationships with supporters.
