The Role

To provide a high-quality housing management service, ensuring outstanding customer service and service delivery, by a being a primary point of contact for tenants. Engage with tenants to provide a responsive efficient housing management service that is consistently excellent for all tenancies. Housing Officers are expected to carry out the vast majority of their duties (70%) at our managed accommodation.

Your New Role

As a Management Accountant, you will support the fundraising team, including team leaders, managers, and the Director, with budgeting and forecasting. Your key responsibilities will include providing financial analysis, budget support, and financial planning. You will prepare management accounts, conduct variance analysis, and assist with the annual budget process. Additionally, you will monitor actual performance against budget, forecast for the year, and prepare journal adjustments, month-end accruals, and prepayments.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Significant experience in Management Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in the month-end process.
• Experience in preparing and posting journal entries (standard journals, accruals).
• Strong ability to communicate with and present information to senior management and provide advice to non-financial budget holders.
• Ideally, you are a qualified accountant or very close to qualification.

About the role

Corporate Partnerships are a vital income stream for Habitat for Humanity GB, and with the guidance of our Head of Corporate, the Corporate Partnership Manager will work to maximize fundraising opportunities and strengthen relationships with our current partners.

What the role involves

The Partnerships Manager will help to retain long term support and drive growth within in our portfolio for Habitat for Humanity GB. With an understanding of corporate partnerships and a passion for the charity sector and international humanitarian work, you will work as part of a team to ensure long-term relationships are fostered. Principle activities will include:

· Develop creative and innovative fundraising strategies for corporate partnerships, including writing proposals and pitches.

· Foster long-term relationships with partners through personalized and proactive engagement.

· Collaborate across the network to implement global partnership activations locally.

· Produce regular reports on progress, financial targets, and key learnings from fundraising efforts.

· Work with the Head of Corporate Fundraising to streamline the transition from new business prospects to account management.

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated staff members for our Complex Needs Accommodation Service. The role will require you to work alongside the Regional Services Manager , to provide a high level of support to these clients at our Ashley Road and Milton House projects.

You will be in a specialist role designed to work with people with complex support needs relating to: mental ill health, physical health & substance use needs. You will also play a key part in reducing the risk of re-offending, liaising with external professionals, preventing homelessness and promoting the independence and social inclusion of these clients.

The working rota for this post is Monday - Friday. (no weekend shifts) and a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 10.30pm)

About you:

• Previous experience of working with people with complex support needs.
• Ability to manage a caseload and deliver positive outcomes utilising your knowledge of the health, social care and criminal justice sector.

The Assessment Coordinator is the conduit for young people to access the youth accommodation pathway in Greenwich.  As well as triage and intake, the role supports young people by navigating their journey either by facilitating their safe return home, or into longer term suitable supported accommodation.

You will provide specialist assessment and interventions for a designated caseload. You will provide mediation where needed and advise/ facilitate restorative work with the young person and their family. 

About you:

• You have two years’ experience of assessing the needs of young people in a residential/ accommodation setting. 
• Proven experience and skills in delivering casework and planned support for young people. 
• A strong understanding and practical knowledge relating to issues that typically disrupt progress in journeys towards independence.  E.g. mental health, substance use, self-harm, domestic violence, anger management etc 
• Evidence an ability to navigate between and across specialties whilst working with clients to create a multi-agency support plan. 
• The ability to work within systems and families, to enable young people (that can) to return home.

Recovery Coordinator - Rough Sleepers Team - Southwark

A Recovery Coordinator is required to join the rough sleeper's team of a Drug and Alcohol service in Southwark, on an initial temporary basis.

This contract will run for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

The service is willing to train up new recruits, so if you are passionate about working in this sector, this is an amazing opportunity to get your foot in the door.

Responsibilities:

• Encouragement of people with drug, alcohol, or mental health needs to use the program - This is through outreach shifts that take place 1-2 times per week.
• Advise on harm minimisation.

The successful candidate does not have to have direct experience in a similar environment. About the role

The Senior Case Worker will work as part of the SPOT Navigator team based alongside the Southwark SPOT Street Outreach team. The aim is to support a known cohort of clients who are stuck within the cycles of homeless and ill-health and have not been able to sustain a stable life outside of this.

This will be achieved through strength-based assessment, using creative engagement techniques and co-producing action plans aimed at linking clients with services and community groups. Your work will improve health outcomes for clients and promote harm reduction by working alongside specialist partner agencies. You will be working with clients on the streets in an outreach capacity or in various types of accommodation.

In this role you will:

• Work in partnership with local authorities, accommodation services, statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure that clients transition away from the streets and into the appropriate accommodation with the correct support in place.
• Manage a caseload of clients experiencing multiple disadvantage who may not have stayed in stable accommodation for long periods of time.
• Have a great opportunity to assist people to change their lives meaningfully for the better.

In this non-shift role, you will work mainly within normal office hours Monday – Friday, however, on occasion you may be asked to work flexibly and conduct early or late shifts starting at 6am or ending at 3am. For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic support professional to join our unique Support Team. This position will be based at Sir Oswald Stoll Mansions, 446 Fulham Road, SW6 2QT, however you may be required to work across other sites in West London.

You should have a genuine interest in helping people to maintain their quality of life and independence, regardless of the potential barriers they face. You must be patient, kind and sympathetic to the difficulties that an individual faces. You will facilitate their independence as much as possible and encourage their wellbeing at the same time.

As part of the role you will:

• Develop and carry out support plans
• Identify and access relevant opportunities for client wellbeing, including leisure and mental health services
• Develop and maintain independent living skills
• Advocate for clients
• Support clients to integrate with the local community

Stoll is the lead provider of housing and support services in the Veterans sector.  Founded in 1916, Stoll has provided a sanctuary to help Veterans rebuild their lives for over 100 years. We are currenty undertaking a major transformation programme across all of our operations, including, but not limited to, resource identification across our services, reviewing software use, realigning workflows across our infrastructure, whilst upgrading systems and improving processes. The newly formed Finance & Business Services team is seeking to fill the Business Services Manager position as part of this growth. 

The role will be hybrid and flexible by agreement in keeping with the charity’s workflow patterns. Please note that the hours for this role will be Monday-Friday, 35hrs per week.

About the role:

• Experience of leading, then developing the skill sets of operational teams across multiple departments.
• Strong negotiation skills to get the best deals from contract.
• Experience of analysing management information and making recommendations to inform decision making is essential.
• Experience of working on own initiative within policy, procedural and legislative requirements.
• Experience of having worked in a charity or social housing is essential
• Evidence strong IT skills, systems implementation and process review.
• Excellent knowledge of operational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Essential - qualified by experience, demonstrable by previous roles closely aligned to the above job description.
• Degree educated, with a further qualification from the Charted Management Institute or the Institute of Leadership and management (desirable).
• Educated to a minimum of A-levels (or equivalent) in English, Maths and/or Business (essential).
• Demonstrable commitment to and evidence of continuous professional development and learning.
• Self-starter with a flexible mindset, able to deal with deliverables and objectives changing at
• relatively short notice.
• Logical and proactive approach to issue resolution, able to break down a problem into its parts,
• assess the available options and identify a recommended solution.
• Strong business acumen and detailed knowledge of the supported housing area.
• Strong leadership and management skills and the ability to assign tasks to the correct team or team member.
• Strong interpersonal skills plus good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good organisational skills including being able to prioritise a diverse workload to ensure targets are achieved and the ability to work to monthly deadlines.
• Good team working skills.
