Supporter Care Administrator
Salary: £27,300 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week (full time)
Reporting to: Head of Individual Giving
Base: Hybrid Working (from our Offices in either Loudwater, Buckinghamshire or Widnes, Cheshire and from home)

This is a full-time role which requires an experienced administrator with CRM experience (Raiser’s Edge) to work closely with the Head of Individual Giving, along with supporting the wider fundraising team.

The Supporter Care Administrator will:

· be responsible for the administration of voluntary income and volunteer administration, ensuring donations are efficiently and accurately identified, recorded and acknowledged, and for the day-to-day management of the volunteer database.

• have the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• have good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
• be professional and a hard-working team player who can remain calm under pressure.
• have excellent written, communication and IT skills along with experience of CRM databases.
• be the lead contact for the coordination of some database projects for the fundraising operation, such as the administration of gift aid claims and coordinating data relating to appeals or volunteers.
• support the fundraising team by providing other administrative support as required.

About the role:

We are seeking a Head of Operations to work with the CEO and senior leadership team to manage a broad scope of operational functions, including workplace governance, people management, digital support, data and risk management. The Head of Operations will be a collaborative and hands-on professional with project and people management skills, a track record of operational change management, and the ability to inspire colleagues in new ways of working that ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the Foundation - driving system, quality and process improvements.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Produce management reports for the CEO and Trustees as required, supporting the Annual Report & Accounts production and Board of Trustees administration.
• Oversee cyber security and coordinate IT support services, including the Foundation’s IT and digital platforms – maintaining licenses, agreements and contracts.

Essential knowledge, skills & experience include:

• Previous experience in a Senior Operations management role, preferably in a charity or not-for-profit setting
• Strong leadership qualities to lead operations and fulfil an executive function
• Reliable with a high level of discretion and integrity – able to deal with sensitive and confidential matters
• Excellent IT and digital skills including Microsoft Office 365. Skilled in using workplace systems including Teams and SharePoint
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of managing compliance and risk, including safeguarding and GDPR – able to identify and respond to organisational risks
• Exceptional people management and coaching skills with experience of managing HR and L&D functions
• Excellent project management and organisational skills, able to multi-task with attention to detail

You will be the go-to expert in digital analysis (particularly GA4), working closely alongside a variety of teams to maximise the reach, engagement and conversion of digital journeys.

Key skills include:

· Demonstrates significant working knowledge/experience specialising in digital analysis and Insight

· Significant experience in producing analysis/reports with strong narratives from a variety of digital sources (including Google Analytics 4, email marketing, social insight, META and other tracking/performance monitoring tools) to inform and optimise marketing, fundraising and conversion rate strategies.

· Proficiency in statistical analysis to identify trends in data (e.g. descriptive and comparative statistics correlation, hypothesis testing, regression/data modelling), robust A/B testing, and project optimisation.

· Advanced understanding of tools and frameworks for monitoring the performance of digital marketing and products, including Google Analytics dashboards and custom reports.

· Advanced understanding of Google Analytics 4 (including funnel analysis, segmentation, and ecommerce tracking), Tag Manager, Hotjar (or equivalent), Content Square, Power BI, and Looker Studio.

· Ability to manage external suppliers that provide these tools and services.

· Able to interrogate relevant data sources to support the development of supporter journeys and identify problems/potential solutions to conversion, efficiencies, and user experience.

· Maintain and develop tracking requirements for website features and activities.

· Knowledge and application of tag management systems, including editing of tags.

· Experience developing and working on fundraising and campaigning KPIs and models.

· Experience in integrating digital data sources with CRM database systems.

• We have already identified that the Head of Advice role is too large for one person without additional advice management being in place.

Role Summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented and enthusiastic Philanthropy Officer to join a high performing and friendly fundraising team.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and organized Philanthropy Officer who will support the Head of Corporate, Philanthropy & Events to secure and increase income through the charity’s Major Donor strategy.

The post holder will support with developing a robust pipeline of prospects and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing major donor relationships. You will be creative and analytical and provide first class research, administration, relationship management and database skills and provide excellent donor stewardship.

Principal responsibilities include:

• Research and identify potential major donors to build a strong list of prospects, matching against key fundraising priorities, to maximise opportunities and build a healthy prospect pipeline.
• Work with Head of Corporate, Philanthropy & Events to prepare and implement creative donor cultivation and stewardship plans to secure new donors and develop current relationships, including:
  • Creative cases for support with associated budgets.
  • Adapting information for specific donors using different approaches for different audiences.
  • Developing engaging thank you letters and reports. 
• Manage an agreed portfolio of major donor relationships and prospects, with the support of Head of Corporate, Philanthropy & Events, through excellent stewardship and tailored fundraising proposals.
• Take a lead role in development and implementation of a patron and celebrity stewardship plan.

The Role
Confidently manage a six-figure corporate income budget, securing income from new corporate partners through
written applications and pitches.

Organise opportunities for corporate contacts to engage with the charitys work first-hand, including face to face meetings and events.
