This position has the significant responsibility of working with members of the BD Collective, an innovative group of VSCE sector organisations, to develop a robust CBS that puts its members in the lead. 

Your role will bring together the VCSE sector to find and act on common goals, building a strong CBS that is able to take advantage of the opportunities presented through funding, commissioning and joint delivery opportunities.

You will be joining a small team of 8 people, with a supportive culture, working collaboratively and flexibly.

Criminal Justice Team Leader

We are seeking a Criminal Justice Team Leader to join a service in East London. This is an exciting new opportunity, to work flexibly and creatively as a member of our multidisciplinary team to determine what is required to make the greatest positive impact on everyone who is referred to the programme.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing a team of employees and managing performance, sick leave, supervision (including reflective practice), and ensuring that employees adhere to internal and external policies that are relevant to their positions.
  
• Giving employees the tools they need to help service users realise their full potential as people and members of the community by empowering them to make choices, take initiative, and create opportunities.

• Assist your team and the designated safeguarding lead in making sure that the procedures followed by the team or service make it possible to identify service users, kids, and families who are in danger.
  
• Verify that personnel can provide interventions that lower risk to clients.
  
• Offer prompt, values-based feedback to employees so they may apply observed practice to improve service user outcomes.
  
• Take the lead in hiring, choosing, and orienting new employees.
  

Experience Necessary:

• Possess a degree or comparable relevant experience in education.
  
• Expertise and background in creating, managing, and providing health and social care services that meet high performance and quality requirements.
  
• Considerable expertise managing groups of people who assist families whose children are receiving social care intervention.
• Familiarity with the most recent laws pertaining to minors and safeguarding procedures
  
• Able to motivate, inspire, and lead a group.
  
• Possess strong communication skills both in writing and speech, as well as proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Norfolk and Suffolk team to help support the growth of our services. You will be working closely with our SEN and Mental Health and Wellbeing teams as well as the Operational Manager to deliver high quality and innovative services to families and communities.

Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience of working in a mental health or SEN environment in a people management role.  You will need to be a team player but able to work autonomously as well and have the ability to prioritise workload and deadlines.

You will need to think creatively with an understanding of funding and contractual requirements, which vary greatly over 7 different projects.  You will be an excellent communicator with a good sense of humour.

Our teams are currently spread across Norfolk and West Suffolk so you will need to be able to travel independently around the counties with your main base being in our Swaffham office, although some home working may be required.

Main Requirements

· To oversee the for the planning, management and delivery of all services, ensuring that KPIs and CIPs are fully met.

· To work closely with the Operational Manager to ensure quality delivery of services provided the Norfolk/Suffolk team,  staff and volunteers.

· To develop and review the practice wheels and Logic Models that outlines the structure and research basis of the service. To engage with the Family Action Communities of Practice, roadshows and other internal opportunities to ensure strategic aims and objectives are constantly developing.

· To ensure a high standard of quality assurance and professional practice across the staff, through clinical and line management supervision, case audits, the use of MIR, Scorecard and Service Level Reports drawing upon data, and provision of training opportunities.

· Support Operational Manger to explore and identify areas of service needs across Norfolk and Suffolk and to build network and integrational working partnerships to support this.

· To be instrumental in shaping the future of the services both in Norfolk and Suffolk as well as part of the wider Central Team.

· Be responsible for the overall management, mentoring and support of Service Coordinators and, where needed, other staff.

· Deliver Family Action’s formal Annual Appraisal process for all workers, either ‘parenting’ or ‘grandparenting’ as required.

Digital Projects Officer

Charity People are working with a social welfare charity to find them a new Digital Projects Officer, to help project manage a range of digital initiatives and support with implementation and effectiveness of the charity's operations. Working in a small team, you will assist the Digital Projects Manager to identify opportunities for digital improvements with existing processes, and to upskill staff to use new and existing digital tools. You will help lead on digital projects for the charity, to help scope requirements, understand regulatory needs, costs, and advise on process and implementation. You will source, manage, and assess suppliers and agencies for digital projects.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who thrives working as part of a small collaborative team and has strong experience of working successfully in a similar digital project's role for a large charitable organisation with recent knowledge of digital and fundraising innovations, best practice, and compliance requirements.

You will require an understanding of implementing large and complex digital projects including project scoping, and experience of analysing and reporting on KPIs to monitor service performance. Therefore, the team require someone who has worked in a digital projects role in the sector, who has the confidence to come in and take ownership of projects.

The role is set to start early October with interviews being held at the end of September.

Please note, the hourly rate will be based on the working arrangements. If the successful postholder requires remote working then the hourly rate is based on a salary of £32,590 per annum, if the candidate works two days per week in the London office, then the hourly rate would be based on £36,502 per annum.
