White Gables is a 24-hr crisis service, supporting people experiencing a mental health crisis and working to a recovery model. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards.
We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. Responsible for helping and inspiring the people who use our services to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community, we’ll rely on you to work with them to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations. No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided, although candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience would be welcomed. Many people are experiencing mental health issues and urgently need support. That’s where our new service and you come in. Join Richmond Fellowship as a Recovery and Connect Worker and you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals access the support services and opportunities they need to improve their quality of life and ensure that their mental health is improving.
Chester and Wirral pathway is a community-based project that will assist people in hospital ready for discharge home from mental health inpatient settings. Your role will be in supporting patients in various hospital settings to overcome the barriers to them leaving hospital. This will include being part of MDT meetings, housing and benefits support, utility reconnection, identifying housing and a package of 12-week support upon discharge from hospital. Ideally candidates will have good housing experience. This is an agile role that will require travel between hospitals and the community.
Your challenge will be to support individuals with complex mental health needs to feel in control of their care, access mental health support and other local opportunities and build their emotional resilience. You’ll manage a caseload of individuals with mental health concerns, formulating support plans and establishing positive relationships with a range of multidisciplinary organisations.
You’ll need a significant understanding of mental health issues and substantial experience of working within a mental health setting where you dealt with ‘high risk’ clients and managing resources effectively. A good understanding of recovery and coproduction is important too, as is a proven ability to lead, supervise and motivate staff and delegate work appropriately. Adept at managing conflicting demands and priorities on time, you have a flexible attitude to working hours and, above all, keen to be part of something new and worthwhile that will change lives.
This is a fixed term role that ends on 31 May 2025. We have two vacancies available – one full-time role for 37.5 hours a week and one part-tie role for 15 hours a week.

The facilitator role is a freelance position. We offer flexible hours with delivery taking place during school hours/term time in schools, partner offices or community event spaces.

Successful fundraising and the development of long-term strategic partnerships enables LFB to support its staff and work more efficiently. Resolve Poverty is seeking a Network Development Coordinator to establish a cross-sectoral community of Lancashire (by which we mean Lancashire County Council, Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool) based stakeholder organisations. Working with this community, the Network Development Coordinator will identify opportunities to strengthen anti-poverty activities across the region that align with Resolve Poverty’s strategic priorities to:
- Maximise the financial resources available to households
- Implement effective strategic responses to poverty
- Equip stakeholders with the knowledge they need to tackle poverty.
This exciting new role, funded by the National Lottery, will enable you to harness the work of Resolve Poverty so that we can have impact. You will join a dedicated and growing team working to maximise the impact of local responses to poverty in order to resolve poverty nationally.
Title: Network Development Coordinator (Lancashire)
Location: Combination of homeworking and office based. There is an expectation that you will work one day a week from our offices in central Manchester and that you will travel extensively across Lancashire in order to deliver this role.

We are seeking capacity to build a Lancashire (by which we mean the area covered by Lancashire County Council and Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool councils) network of professionals and volunteers actively engaged in resolving poverty that:
- Creates a space for good practice sharing.
- Shares evidence, research and policy developments through communication channels, training and events. This will:
- Improve the ability of the public sector to implement effective responses to poverty.
- Enable the VCSE sector to access the knowledge it needs to improve and better target responses to poverty.
- Utilises network insights and knowledge to identify strategic, policy and practical gaps in anti-poverty responses.
Delivering this role effectively will involve:
- Establishing a network of Lancashire based professionals and volunteers signing up to receive communications.
- Engaging in key forums and on a one to one basis with key stakeholders, including local authorities, the Combined Authority and VCSE sector infrastructure bodies.
- Hosting meetings, forums and events to create space for anti-poverty knowledge development and activities
- Delivering against funding KPIs, including network reach and engagement targets.
- Working closely with Resolve Poverty colleagues, including our Business Development Executive and Communications and Media Officer.
